New Delhi, __ — The World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF) organized a special interaction dedicated to the theme “Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture.” The session featured an engaging exchange between Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of WPDRF, and Armen Narayan, a renowned Personal Development Coach, Educator, Scientist, and University of Pennsylvania affiliate hailing from Armenia.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah emphasized the transformative power of art and culture in building global harmony. He stated that sustained dialogue, cultural exchange, and inclusive collaborations are essential to fostering peace across borders. Dr. Marwah also highlighted WPDRF’s continuous efforts to bring together intellectuals, educators, and creative professionals from around the world to promote a peaceful global society.

ICMEI Welcomes Armenian Delegation at Marwah Studios to Strengthen Bilateral Cultural Ties

Noida, India : The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum, extended a warm welcome to a distinguished delegation from Armenia at Marwah Studios, led by Ms. Nvard Chalikyan of the Applied Policy Research Institute, Armenia.

The visit marked a significant step towards enhancing cultural, cinematic, and media cooperation between India and Armenia.

During the interaction, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of ICMEI, expressed a strong commitment to working collaboratively with Armenian film, media, art, and cultural organizations. He briefed Ms. Chalikyan on ICMEI’s ongoing initiatives in partnership with the Embassy of Armenia in India, including international festivals focusing on film, journalism, fashion, and literature.

“Art and culture form the backbone of diplomacy,” said Dr. Marwah. “Through collaborative projects, we aim to build lasting bridges between India and Armenia.”

Noida, India: The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week became a melting pot of culinary delights as national and international audiences were treated to an array of exquisite foods from Algeria and Venezuela. The event, held in Noida, showcased a rich tapestry of flavors and cultural heritage, leaving attendees amazed and appreciative of the diverse culinary offerings.

The second day of the festival featured a special session dedicated to the vibrant cultures of Venezuela and Algeria. This session underscored the deepening cultural and diplomatic relations between India and these two nations, as reflected through their cuisine. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Festival, emphasized the holistic nature of culture, which encompasses films, media, fashion, design, and notably, food.

“Culture is an all-encompassing entity that bridges nations and fosters understanding,” Dr. Marwah remarked. “Today’s display is a testament to the culinary richness of Algeria and Venezuela, brought together through the support of the Indo Algeria Film and Cultural Forum and the Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum.”

The session was inaugurated by His Excellency Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria to India, and Alfredo Caldera, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of Venezuela and  Marat Melikyan Counsellor Embassy of Armenia.. In his address, H.E. Ali Achoui expressed his pride in showcasing Algerian cuisine on an international platform and praised the festival for its role in cultural diplomacy. Alfredo Caldera echoed these sentiments, noting the significance of such events in strengthening cultural ties and mutual appreciation.

Attendees had the opportunity to savor traditional dishes, each telling a story of its heritage and the people who have perfected it over generations. The festival’s culinary segment served as a delicious reminder of the power of food in bridging cultural gaps and fostering international camaraderie.

The highlight of the evening was the screening of Sergei Parajanov’s debut masterpiece, “The Color of Pomegranates,” a film revered for its poetic storytelling and visual splendor. Noida:  In a gesture of goodwill and to strengthen the bonds of friendship between India and Armenia, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) takes immense pleasure in presenting a scholarship from the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), a prestigious institution in India, to the Ambassador of Armenia to India.

The scholarship, extended to a deserving student from Armenia, encompasses enrolment in any one of the creative short-term courses offered by AAFT, along with boarding and lodging facilities for a duration of three months. This initiative aims to foster cultural exchange and educational cooperation between the two nations, laying the foundation for a lasting partnership.

AAFT stands as a beacon of excellence in the field of media and entertainment education, and it is the only institution in the world to have announced 196 international scholarships, each dedicated to students from 196 countries, for short-term creative courses. A festival of films from Armenia is also in the pipe line. Very soon a delegation will be visiting from ICMEI to Armenia to strengthen the relations between two countries through films, media, art and culture,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Armenia Film And Cultural Forum.

ICMEI Presented AAFT Scholarship to Embassy of Armenia
New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry handed over the prestigious scholarship of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television to the Embassy of Armenia   in India for the deserving student from Armenia.

A scholarship of short-term course in cinema of the most popular institution of India AAFT was handed over to the H.E. Armen Martirosyan Ambassador of Armenia to India by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI as part of MOU signed between the two countries.

“The scholarship includes a short term course fee along with the boarding and lodging charges for three months for the student from Armenia,” informed Rajiv Mathur Director ICMEI.

“We are happy to hand over the first scholarship to the deserving student from Armenia to study in India in any discipline of film or television at AAFT, Noida, I am sure this will add on to the better relation between two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah presenting the scholarship to Ambassador.

AAFT is one of the best Media institutes in the World with five World records      to its credits. The institution has completed 26 years and churned out 15000 media professionals from 120 countries of the World.

“I appreciate this beautiful gesture by ICMEI and AAFT and hope we will work further to strengthen our ties,” added Armen Martirosyan Ambassador of Armenia to India.

Noida: A powerful MOU has been signed between Republic of India through International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Republic of Armenia through it Embassy in New Delhi to develop and promote relation between two countries through art and culture.

“This is an another achievement of ICMEI when we on behalf of India could   sign MOU with the Embassy of Armenia in India to whole heartedly promote arts, crafts and culture of  both the countries under newly formed Indo Armenia Film And Cultural Forum,”  said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair Indo Armenia Film And Cultural Forum.

“It is a great pleasure and opportunity to celebrate the understanding we have signed between Republic of Armenia and Republic of India and best of the organization have come forward to support this international cause,” added H.E. Armen Martirosyan Ambassador of Armenia to India.

A Large number of programs have been devised under this forum, which will take place in the coming months. Both organizations congratulated each other. People from Chamber and Embassy also participated during this historical moment.
