Association of Private Universities Chhattisgarh Showed Concern on Pandemic

Association of Private Universities Chhattisgarh Meet

Raipur:  Chancellors and Vice Chancellors meet was organized by the Association of Private Universities Chhattisgarh online to discuss and plan the special activities to be designed further keeping in mind the extended lockdown during Covid 19 Pandemic.

Everyone expressed their concern on the health of the students, teachers and management of the Universities and different ways to keep the staff and students busy in these tough times. Large number of suggestions were on the table as to give best of the education possible to the students at these universities.

“Even during this pandemic, let me inform to the association that AAFT University of Media and Arts has recently launched a new Radio Station- Radio Raipur to inform, educate and entertain to the people of state of Chhattisgarh. It can be heard from any part of the country at radioraipur.fm,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Nigam Vice Chancellor Shankaracharya University attended the meeting.

AAFT University Extends Congratulations to Administration of Chhattisgarh


Celebration of Foundation Day at Chhattisgarh

Raipur: “I on behalf of AAFT University of Media And Arts Raipur, take this opportunity to extend my heartiest congratulations to the whole administration and Government of Chhattisgarh on this auspicious day of 1st November, the foundation day of state of Chhattisgarh,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while talking to the students and faculty in a joint meeting.

1 November of every year is celebrated as Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava (Chhattisgarh Foundation Day) as on this date in the year 2000 Government of India officially declared it to be an independent state. The President of India gave his consent to Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2000 on 25 August and then Government of India set 1 November 2000 as the day Madhya Pradesh would be divided into Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

“We all are proud of our state. Chhattisgarh had been the center of progress and development of several culture since the Vedic and Mythological times. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in India. This state is a source of electricity and steel for the country, accounting for 15% of the total steel produced as well as a large contributor of coal. Chhattisgarh in the cleanest state in the category of states with more than 100 urban local bodies.
