ICMEI Conveys Warm Greetings to Mongolia on Independence Day

Noida, India | 29 December Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the Media and Entertainment Industry and the Art and Culture fraternity, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Dambajav Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, and to the people of Mongolia on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, celebrated on 29th December.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah highlighted the deep-rooted and time-tested friendship between India and Mongolia, describing the bilateral relationship as one based on mutual respect, shared cultural values, and strong people-to-people connections. He emphasized that Mongolia has been an active and valued partner of ICMEI, participating consistently in almost every major international program, festival, and cultural initiative organized by the chamber.

“Mongolia’s association with ICMEI reflects our shared commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy, creative collaboration, and global harmony through art, cinema, and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Marwah.

Recalling a proud moment, Dr. Marwah shared that he was honoured by the President of Mongolia during his visit to India a few years ago, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen cultural relations and foster cooperation through the Indo–Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum.

On this significant national occasion, ICMEI reaffirmed its resolve to further deepen cultural and creative ties with Mongolia and conveyed its best wishes for the nation’s continued progress, peace, and prosperity.

Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum Joined Hands with 9th GFDW Noida 2025

Noida: The 9th Global Fashion and Design Week has officially been recognized as the largest fashion week ever organized by any academic institution worldwide. The event delivered an extraordinary celebration of creativity and cultural fusion, featuring: 550 uniquely designed garments, 125 innovative furniture pieces, 90 fashion rounds across 9 major shows, 6 curated exhibitions, 9 international culinary displays

The event also included the screening of fashion films, live coverage through MSTV and Radio Noida, and enjoyed the proud association of over 600 media houses globally.

The mega celebration was meticulously planned by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Fashion Committee, in association with the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and the AAFT School of Interior Designing.

As in previous editions, the Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum was a prominent participant, presenting a breathtaking collection inspired by the art and cultural heritage of Mongolia. This year’s showcase drew inspiration from Mongolia’s vibrant Tsam Dance Festival, translating traditional motifs into stylish modern wear.

The featured collection included: A-line silhouettes crafted from breezy banana crepe and Vivian fabric. Bold block prints and symbolic Tsam mask motifs, A vivid color palette of blue, yellow, and green, reflecting the festive spirit, deep-rooted cultural pride, and rich artistic legacy of Mongolia. Additionally, a unique piece of furniture inspired by Mongolian design sensibilities was also displayed, further emphasizing the cultural depth of the event.

The Indo Mongolian Film and Cultural Forum, a joint initiative between the Embassy of Mongolia in India and ICMEI, continues to work passionately to promote and develop people-to-people relations between the two nations. A dedicated Mongolia Desk at ICMEI remains active throughout the year, ensuring sustained collaboration and cultural exchange.

New Delhi: “We are ready to start action for the promotion of our relations with Mongolia through art and culture under the leadership of H.E. Ganbold Dambajavyn Ambassador of Mongolia to India. His vision and ideas will support our mission,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry while presenting the Patron ship of Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum to the Ambassador in a small ceremony at Embassy of Mongolia.

“Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum has done well in last four years, it needs to be highlight more in the coming years. Together we will achieve the targets,” said H.E. Ganbold Dambajavyn Ambassador of Mongolia to India while accepting the Patronship of the forum.

Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum soon will be arranging a festival of films from Mongolia, a cultural program and a Road Show on tourism in the coming weeks informed Rajiv Mathur Director ICMEI.

AAFT Join Hands With Mongolian University
 

Busan: In a special event-World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp designed by International Youth Fellowship, a student educational and cultural body having its offices all over the World including India and Mongolia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Asian Academy of Film And Television and Ulaanbaatar Erdem University from Mongolia. 

 

“AAFT is one of the best institutions in the World as far as film, television and media education is concerned. With an experience of 27 years in media education, we will be able to enhance our current courses and can launch more courses of different duration time to come. No body can compete with the qualifications of AAFT,” said Prof. Alima Dorj of Ulaanbaatar Erdem University, Mongolia while signing the MOU.

 

“We are happy to join hands with Mongolian University.  We are already associated to the Republic of Mongolia through H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India  in New Delhi. Recently we have also created Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum to promote relation between two countries. The efforts have been blessed by H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga President of Mongolia personally during his visit to New Delhi,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT. 

 

Dr. Sandeep Marwah was invited by the Mongolian University to visit their country to see for himself the day to day affairs of the University.

ICMEI Congratulated Ambassador of Mongolia on National Day


New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated National Day of Mongolia with its members on web which falls on 11th July. The President of the Chamber congratulated the Ambassador and his complete team in New Delhi.

“I on behalf of ICMEI and compete media and entertainment industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India and the people of Republic of Mongolia on this auspicious occasion of National Day of his country. The relation between India and Mongolia go back to centuries. I pray and wish for a much stronger relation between the two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum.

IMFCF- Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum has done extremely well in these last two years. Dr. Sandeep Marwah also had the opportunity to brief H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga the President of Mongolia about the activities of the forum in India during his last visit to New Delhi, who is the Chief Patron of the association.

Noida: Third day of 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2020 saw many interesting events including seminar on Literature and journalism at Marwah Studios.

“When journalism is silenced, literature must speak. Because while journalism speaks with facts, literature speaks with truth,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and initiated the discussion.

“Knowledge and command on language can make you a good writer. You can be a journalist or a book writer. What you write becomes history and then part of literature. Right well, right positive so that it can motivate many to come forward in life,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold writer & Ambassador of Mongolia to India while launching the book of Ramesh Mishra titled ‘Pratap Ki Gaatha’.

“There is a huge need of terrific writers to write stories and screen play for feature films and learned people with good command on speaking so that good and correct messages can be pass on to public,” said Vivek Agnihotri renowned film maker from Mumbai.

Anoop Bose Senior Lawyer of Supreme Court & Filmmaker, Sunil Dang Editor-In-Chief of Magazine The Day After, K G Suresh, former Director General IIMC- Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dr. Gopal Ji President Global Yog Alliance and writer Ramesh Mishra IAS (Retd.) expressed themselves in length.

Albeena Abbas Associate Director School of Mass Communication And Journalism conducted the program and Ashok Tyagi Secretary General, ICMEI purposed vote of thanks. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of IJC- International Journalism Centre to all the dignities.

India And Mongolia Will Promote Art Together


ICMEI Signed MOU With Mongolian National Film Commission


New Delhi: The visit of the President of Mongolia brought new enthusiasm in the relations between two countries India and Mongolia. H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga President of Mongolia met H.E. Ram Nath Kovind President of India, H.E. Venkaiah Naidu Vice President of India, Shri Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India and signed numerous agreements for the mutual benefits of the two countries.

In continuation to these meeting a MOU was also signed between India and Mongolia in relation of promotion of Films, Television Media, Art and Culture. The agreement has taken place between Dr. Sandeep Marwah of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Orgil Makhaan President of Mongolian National Film Commission and advisor to President of Mongolia.

“We have done it, We will bring two countries close to each other through promotion of art and culture, films are going to be part of it,” said Orgil Makhaan.

“We have already announced scholarship for the student from Mongolia to learn cinema in India. A festival of films from Mongolia has already been announced. A 10 point program has been handed over to the government,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored Orgil Makhaan with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT University of Media And Arts.
