ICMEI Conveys Warm Greetings to Mongolia on Independence Day

Noida, India | 29 December Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the Media and Entertainment Industry and the Art and Culture fraternity, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Dambajav Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, and to the people of Mongolia on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, celebrated on 29th December.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah highlighted the deep-rooted and time-tested friendship between India and Mongolia, describing the bilateral relationship as one based on mutual respect, shared cultural values, and strong people-to-people connections. He emphasized that Mongolia has been an active and valued partner of ICMEI, participating consistently in almost every major international program, festival, and cultural initiative organized by the chamber.

“Mongolia’s association with ICMEI reflects our shared commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy, creative collaboration, and global harmony through art, cinema, and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Marwah.

Recalling a proud moment, Dr. Marwah shared that he was honoured by the President of Mongolia during his visit to India a few years ago, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen cultural relations and foster cooperation through the Indo–Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum.

On this significant national occasion, ICMEI reaffirmed its resolve to further deepen cultural and creative ties with Mongolia and conveyed its best wishes for the nation’s continued progress, peace, and prosperity.

Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum Joined Hands with 9th GFDW Noida 2025

Noida: The 9th Global Fashion and Design Week has officially been recognized as the largest fashion week ever organized by any academic institution worldwide. The event delivered an extraordinary celebration of creativity and cultural fusion, featuring: 550 uniquely designed garments, 125 innovative furniture pieces, 90 fashion rounds across 9 major shows, 6 curated exhibitions, 9 international culinary displays

The event also included the screening of fashion films, live coverage through MSTV and Radio Noida, and enjoyed the proud association of over 600 media houses globally.

The mega celebration was meticulously planned by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Fashion Committee, in association with the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and the AAFT School of Interior Designing.

As in previous editions, the Indo Mongolia Film and Cultural Forum was a prominent participant, presenting a breathtaking collection inspired by the art and cultural heritage of Mongolia. This year’s showcase drew inspiration from Mongolia’s vibrant Tsam Dance Festival, translating traditional motifs into stylish modern wear.

The featured collection included: A-line silhouettes crafted from breezy banana crepe and Vivian fabric. Bold block prints and symbolic Tsam mask motifs, A vivid color palette of blue, yellow, and green, reflecting the festive spirit, deep-rooted cultural pride, and rich artistic legacy of Mongolia. Additionally, a unique piece of furniture inspired by Mongolian design sensibilities was also displayed, further emphasizing the cultural depth of the event.

The Indo Mongolian Film and Cultural Forum, a joint initiative between the Embassy of Mongolia in India and ICMEI, continues to work passionately to promote and develop people-to-people relations between the two nations. A dedicated Mongolia Desk at ICMEI remains active throughout the year, ensuring sustained collaboration and cultural exchange.

Noida, India — The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week held in Noida featured an extraordinary culinary showcase presented by the students of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism. This event, spanning three days, highlighted the gastronomic specialties of various countries, with a particular focus on Mongolia, Comoros, and Iran during its inaugural food show.

The culinary presentations were inaugurated by H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia to India, and Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Consul General of the Republic of Comoros in India. These shows provided a platform for students to demonstrate their culinary skills and introduce the international audience—including notable figures from the fashion, design, film, and television sectors—to popular dishes from the featured countries.

The event’s success was echoed by the appreciative remarks of the attending diplomats. Cdr. K.L. Ganju expressed his admiration for the scale and grandeur of the festival, praising Sandeep Marwah’s capability to organize such impressive showcases. “Only Sandeep Marwah can orchestrate these kinds of grand events,” he remarked while enjoying the culinary offerings. 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 Sets New Standards in Creative Excellence

Noida, India — The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week, held in Noida, has set unprecedented records, becoming the largest fashion event hosted by an educational institution both in India and internationally. This three-day event dazzled attendees with its innovative displays in fashion and furniture design, under the leadership of Festival President Sandeep Marwah, who is also the president of Marwah Studios.

Organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in collaboration with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Interior Design, and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, the festival showcased the depth of global creative talent. An impressive roster of participants from 72 countries contributed to a culturally rich and diverse experience.

The event featured 200 designers who participated in 90 rounds of runway shows, displaying over 550 garments. Additionally, there were four exhibitions including collections of coffee table books, Indian Suits & Sarees, a Photography Exhibition, and 100 creative furniture pieces. The culinary arts were also highlighted with 9 food shows representing the cuisine of 20 countries, all prepared by 700 professionals over nearly three months of planning.

The festival attracted a footfall of 23,000 people, including 250 notable figures from the fashion and design world, as well as 20 Ambassadors and High Commissioners, adding a significant international flavor to the event. A marching band from AAFT added a royal touch to the festivities, which were covered by 500 media houses worldwide.

Each day of the event was documented by the AAFT School of Journalism, with support from 100 volunteers from AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising, 100 digital media representatives from AAFT School of Digital Marketing, and 100 camera persons from AAFT School of Still Photography.

The overwhelming appreciation and congratulations from 72 nations underscored the festival’s success in integrating and showcasing the unique cultural garments of various countries, alongside their national flags, in a spectacular ramp show format.

The opening session of the event was graced by distinguished guests including H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India, celebrated designer Rina Dhaka, and Ruby Yadav, Cultural Head of the BJP Wing. The session was supported by the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, which endeavors to promote the messages of love, peace, and unity through art and culture as championed by Marwah Studios.

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated National Day of Mongolia with its members on web which falls on 11th July. The President of the Chamber congratulated the Ambassador and his complete team in New Delhi.

Noida: Third day of 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2020 saw many interesting events including seminar on Literature and journalism at Marwah Studios.

“When journalism is silenced, literature must speak. Because while journalism speaks with facts, literature speaks with truth,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and initiated the discussion.

“Knowledge and command on language can make you a good writer. You can be a journalist or a book writer. What you write becomes history and then part of literature. Right well, right positive so that it can motivate many to come forward in life,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold writer & Ambassador of Mongolia to India while launching the book of Ramesh Mishra titled ‘Pratap Ki Gaatha’.

“There is a huge need of terrific writers to write stories and screen play for feature films and learned people with good command on speaking so that good and correct messages can be pass on to public,” said Vivek Agnihotri renowned film maker from Mumbai.

Anoop Bose Senior Lawyer of Supreme Court & Filmmaker, Sunil Dang Editor-In-Chief of Magazine The Day After, K G Suresh, former Director General IIMC- Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dr. Gopal Ji President Global Yog Alliance and writer Ramesh Mishra IAS (Retd.) expressed themselves in length.

Albeena Abbas Associate Director School of Mass Communication And Journalism conducted the program and Ashok Tyagi Secretary General, ICMEI purposed vote of thanks. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of IJC- International Journalism Centre to all the dignities.

Sandeep Marwah Presented Patronship To Mongolian President


New Delhi: Chief Scout For India Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum appreciated by H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga the President of Mongolia for his deep interest in promoting relations between two countries through art and culture here at New Delhi.

“I am humbled to present the Chief Patronship of Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulha the President of Mongolia. We need your blessings to move further in a big way,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while presenting the memento to the President.

“I am pleased to note the activities of Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum and congratulate Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his efforts in developing and promoting relation between India and Mongolia. I wish him all the success,” said H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga accepting the Patronship of the Forum.

The meeting was attended by the members of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at the Embassy of Mongolia in New Delhi.

H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India coordinated and conducted the event. Akhilesh Mishra Director General ICCR, Orgil Makhaan President of Mongolian National Film Commission, Enkh Amgalan Byambasuren Minister of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia, Undarmaa Batbayar Member of the State Great Hural were also present there.

The President of Mongolia H.E. Khaltmaagin Battulga is in India for five days on his state visit, invited by the President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind. During the visit Battulga will meet President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan and will hold talks on different issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga will jointly inaugurate the Lord Buddha's statue at Gandan Monastery in Ulaanbaatar on Friday.
Battulga's visit to India is the first state visit by a Mongolian President in the last 10 years, the ministry said, noting the two sides will hold in-depth discussions on a range of bilateral, regional and global issues.

The two countries would review ongoing cooperation in fields of infrastructure, energy, disaster management, defence, security, culture, and capacity building.

Noida 18th April: During the second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019, the festival picked up to new level and was attended by large number of film, television, media, fashion and design fraternity.                

Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live. I am thankful to our chief guest H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India for encouraging and motivating young designers by visiting to every individual stall in the furniture exhibition. We have high light 54 furniture pieces influenced by different countries of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“Never seen this kind of huge display of furniture, jewelry, textile, fashion garments and huge crowd to appreciate   so much happening at   the same time. Only Sandeep Marwah can do so. Seeing Mongolia everywhere I can make out that Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum has done its job very sincerely,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India.

“Coming to Marwah Studios is like coming back home. I have been associated with Global Fashion and design week from the first edition and it has grown to new level. What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language,” said AAFT Alumna and now Miss Universe Teen Srishti Kaur

Designer Rahul, Mrs India Queen of Substance 2015 Deepti Chhibber, Designer Vandana Dua, Dolly Bhasin, Fashion Fabric Designer Jaguruti Mehta Sanghvi and Interior Designer Kennii Oberoi also spoke on the occasion.


The event was followed by a terrific fashion show where Asmita Mandal & Jahnwi Pandey projected garments influenced by the country of Mongolia, Purnima Gautam & Priyanka from Montenegro, Ashi Gupta from Uzbekistan, Padma Singh from Bahamas, Ananya Mittal from Montenegro, Ankita Singh from Lesotho, Mansi Sharma from Malaysia, Sheffali Singh from Turkmenistan, Anushka Kashera  from Poland and Rahul Patel presented his range from Gambia.

The dignitaries released coffee Table Book- Bazars of India designed by Jaydeep Gupta. Later Sandeep Marwah presented certificated of participation and festival memento to all the distinguished guests.

ICMEI Enhanced The Relation Between India And Mongolia

India And Mongolia Signed Powerful MOU at ICMEI

Noida: India and Mongolia move further in their relationship and will work together in the promotion of arts and culture, Embassy of Mongolia and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry signed MOU to enhance the   relations.

“A history has been written- we are working together on these different segments as they are our specialization including Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, Animation, Performing and Fine Arts, Tourism, Hospitality, Education, Environment, Solar Energy, Skill Development, PR Events and Advertising, Fashion and Design and Journalism. A MOU will speak now for all time to come,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI while signing the official document.

“It is great pleasure to work with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, ICMEI, Marwah Studios and his complete team. My country has gained a lot today with signing of MOU today at International Headquarters of ICMEI. Its like now a permanent bond with ICMEI,” expressed H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah handed over the first scholarship of short-term course    of Asian Academy of Film And Television to Ambassador Ganbold for the deserving student from Mongolia, which also includes boarding and lodging for three months.

A visit of media team to Magnolia, A festival of Films from Mongolia, A joint venture in feature film and short film with Mangolian film makers, promotion of Mongolia as   film location, Tourism in Mongolia, etc. are some of the decisions taken in a joint meeting on the visit of Ambassador to ICMEI.

Dr. Marwah informed H.E. Gonchig Ganbold about the student’s committee on Mongolia at Asian School of Media studies and research work in the field of cinema and fashion has already taken place under Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum created last year by Embassy of Mongolia and ICMEI together. Marwah also presented the research papers to Ambassador.

H.E. Ganbold also addressed a group of students and media persons and expressed his desire to built a wonderful relation between two countries who all been in relation for almost 1500 years.

A radio interview at Radio Noida 107.4FM, a television interview at MSTV were specially planned and recorded for the slot, which Dr. Marwah has sanctioned to promote our relations. Later H.E. Gonchig Ganbold honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his untiring contribution to Indo Mongolian relations.

National Day of Mongolia Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah extended his heartiest congratulations to the people of Mongolia on its National day falls on 11th July.

“We here at ICMEI congratulate the people of Mongolia on their National Day. May our friendship with Mongolia last for ever. The purpose of establishing Indo Mongolia Film And Culture forum is to develop and promote relations between two countries,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair of IMFCF.

 India established diplomatic relations in December 1955. India was the first country outside the Soviet bloc to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia. Since then, there have been treaties of mutual friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Sandeep Marwah and Raizy Bedi Chairperson of Magika, a voluntary body for Women, released the poster of friendship at Marwah Studios to give respect to the friendship.
