New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, was felicitated by the Indo American Business Chamber (IABC) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to strengthening India–United States relations through media, entertainment, education, art, culture, and creative business initiatives.

The prestigious honour was presented during a distinguished gathering of business leaders, diplomats, and industry experts committed to promoting international trade, collaboration, and economic growth between India and North America.

Among the eminent dignitaries present on the occasion were Vaibhav Vaidya, President, Canada Chapter, IABC of SME; Jead Jafar, Consul General of Canada; Dr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, Chairman, Indo American Business Chamber of SME; and renowned entrepreneur Dr. Subhash Goyal.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Subhash Goyal applauded the remarkable contributions of Dr. Sandeep Marwah over the last four decades. He said, “Dr. Sandeep Marwah has consistently built bridges between nations through the powerful mediums of media, education, cinema, and cultural diplomacy. His relentless efforts have significantly enhanced people-to-people engagement and created meaningful opportunities for creative business collaborations between India and the United States. His achievements are a matter of pride for the nation.”

Expressing his gratitude after receiving the honour, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition from the Indo American Business Chamber. Throughout my professional journey, I have believed that art, culture, education, and media are among the strongest instruments for international cooperation. Dr. Marwah has been at the forefront of promoting international relations through numerous global initiatives led by Marwah Studios, AAFT, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and several bilateral cultural forums. His sustained efforts have contributed significantly to expanding opportunities for collaboration in the fields of media, entertainment, education, tourism, and cultural exchange, earning him widespread recognition both in India and across the world.

                               22nd Indo–US Economic Summit Focuses on Transforming Higher Education

New Delhi, India: The 22nd Indo–US Economic Summit, held at Hotel Leela Palace, featured a powerful and insightful session on Higher Education titled “Bridging Borders: Advancing Education and Skills for a Shared Global Future.” The session brought together distinguished leaders from academia, government, and industry to deliberate on the future of global education, skill development, and Indo–US collaboration.

The session was chaired by Dr. W. Selvamurthy, who set the tone for an engaging dialogue on transforming education to meet global standards and emerging industry needs. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation and innovative learning models.

Key speakers included: Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), who highlighted the growing need for global exchange programs, international research collaborations, and cross-border curriculum integration.

Prof. Dr. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, who spoke about AICTE’s initiatives to upgrade technical education, foster entrepreneurship, and harmonize Indian higher education with international benchmarks. Mr. Parth Sarthi Sen Sharma, IAS, ACS Basic and Secondary Education, who underlined the importance of strengthening foundational education and building a seamless path to higher learning and skill-based training.

Dr. Lalit Bhasin, who shared his expertise on legal education, academic reforms, and policy frameworks needed to support India’s academic globalisation efforts.

Representing the media and creative sector, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Media and Entertainment Committee of IACC, addressed the gathering. He stated, “Education today must transcend boundaries. Media, communication, and creative arts play a key role in shaping global understanding. Strengthening Indo–US educational collaboration will open new avenues for innovation, skill development, and student empowerment.”

At the conclusion of the session, all esteemed panelists were presented with special mementos as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the Indo–US dialogue on education.

Noida / New York, September 2025: The Asian Law College (ALC), under the aegis of Asian Education Group, in association with the Indo–USA Film and Cultural Forum, organized a thought-provoking workshop featuring the distinguished international lawyer Maja Groff from New York, USA. The session was further graced by the presence of Mr. Kazem Samandari of La Opera.

Maja Groff, a celebrated lawyer and a product of Harvard University, currently practicing in New York, delivered an insightful lecture on International Law and its Applications in the UK and USA. She elaborated on the dynamic role of international law in dispute resolution, cross-border issues, and global governance, encouraging students to think beyond boundaries and embrace global perspectives in their legal careers. “Law today is not confined to borders; it is about creating frameworks that foster justice, peace, and cooperation internationally,” she remarked.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Asian Law College and Founder of Marwah Studios, welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the importance of such workshops. “Exposure to international law through global leaders like Maja Groff adds tremendous value to the education of our law students. We believe in preparing them not only for national practice but for global challenges as well,” he said.

Filmi Interaction with Film Makers at Marwah Studios

Noida, India — Marwah Studios once again became the hub of creativity and international collaboration as acclaimed filmmakers came together for a special interaction session. Present at the occasion were AAFTian Tushar Tyagi, director of internationally appreciated short films Saving Chintu and Lali; Hollywood Producer Dru Davis, known for the Academy Award-winning The Trial of the Chicago 7; and distinguished writer Anupma Bhardhwaj.

Welcoming the dignitaries, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, recalled his own cinematic milestones. He highlighted Marwah Studios’ contribution to India’s first Oscar-winning short film Smile Pinky, where the studio worked on graphics, animation, opening and closing titles, and post-production. He also mentioned the visit of  students of the Asian School of Business to the prestigious University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts, California, and his honour at the Cairo International Festival alongside international icons Lucy Liu, Samuel L. Jackson, and Salma Hayek.

Sharing his journey, Tushar Tyagi expressed heartfelt gratitude to AAFT, crediting the institution’s education and training for shaping his career and taking him to new professional heights. Dru Davis admired the world-class infrastructure and facilities at AAFT and extended his appreciation for the institution’s contribution to global cinema. Meanwhile, Anupma Bhardhwaj expressed her deep interest in penning a book on the remarkable journey of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The session was vibrant, thought-provoking, and an inspiring exchange for young filmmakers and students present, reaffirming Marwah Studios’ position as an epicentre of film, media, and cultural dialogue.

Chancellor of AAFT University Explores Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA – Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, recently visited Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to gain a firsthand experience of one of the most historically significant cities in the United States. “It was necessary to visit another major city to understand the diverse cultural and industrial landscape of the USA, the most well-developed nation in the world,” Dr. Marwah also Chair for Indo American Film and Cultural Forum stated during a press briefing.

Philadelphia, colloquially known as Philly, is the most populous city in Pennsylvania and the sixth-most populous city in the United States, with a population of 1,603,797 according to the 2020 census. The city has played a pivotal role in American history, serving as the nation’s capital until 1800. Today, Philadelphia continues to exert significant influence in business, industry, culture, sports, and music.

The city is renowned for its contributions to education and research, housing 18 four-year universities and colleges, making it one of the nation’s leading centers for higher education. Philadelphia boasts numerous historic firsts, including the nation’s first library (1731), hospital (1751), medical school (1765), national capital (1774), university (by some accounts) (1779), central bank (1781), stock exchange (1790), zoo (1874), and business school (1881). The city is also home to 67 National Historic Landmarks, including the iconic Independence Hall.

Dr. Marwah’s visit underscores AAFT University’s commitment to expanding its global perspective and fostering academic excellence. “Philadelphia’s rich history and contemporary relevance in various fields make it a critical point of study for our institution,” said Dr. Marwah. “Understanding the historical context and modern advancements of such cities helps us to better prepare our students for their future careers.”

New Delhi: The President of Marwah Studios & Chancellor of AAFT University Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been recently nominated as the Chair for Media and Entertainment Committee in Indo American Chamber of Commerce informed Dr. Lalit Bhasin National President of Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Founder President of Asian Academy of Film and Television and International Film and Television Research Centre. He is already chairing large number of films, television, and media national & international organizations.

De. Sandeep Marwah is the producer of largest number of Short films and part of the Oscar winning film Smile Pinky. He is the teacher to more than 20,000 Media students from 145 countries of the World. He has been the recipient of hundreds of awards from all over the World for his nine World Records.

“I am very happy to be nominated as Chair for Media and Entertainment Committee at Indo American Chamber of Commerce. I have already served on the same post for earlier for few years. This my interest, my passion, and my business. Together we will bring some solid change in Indo American relations,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Dr. Lalit Bhasin.

New Delhi: It is matter of great pride for every Indian as India is the Chair Country for G 20 and our Prime Minister will lead the organization throughout the year 2023. We all must come forward to make this year a very colorful, with large number of events depicting our best of the relations with member countries and European Union,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Media and Entertainment Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce immediate after the meeting with Sherpa India of G20 Amitabh Kant.

The meeting was attended by some of the committee chairmen along with National President Dr. Lalit Bhasin at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan Chanakyapuri in the office of Amitabh Kant Nominated Sherpa for G20.

We will work like Ambassadors to G20 round the year by organizing large number of events with member countries said Sandeep Marwah representing number of countries as their cultural representative.

Indo American Chamber of Commerce will also design a powerful event in association with the government of United States of America in New Delhi to highlight our best of the relations with USA, expressed Dr. Lalit Bhasin.

Joshua Lincoln Addressed students of Asian Business School

Noida:  Joshua Lincoln the descendant of Abraham Lincoln  from Boston USA is a Senior Fellow (non-residential) at the Centre for International Law and Governance at Fletcher, the Graduate School of Global Affairs, Tufts University visited Asian Education Group in Noida to deliver address on current issues in the World.

Between 2013 and 2019, Dr. Lincoln served as Secretary-General of the Bahá’í International Community.  In that role he represented the international governing council of the Bahá’í community in its external affairs; managed relations with governments, municipalities, universities and civil society; and developed multi-year programs and partnerships.  

Between 2000 and 2013, he worked on global peace and security issues at the United Nations, including postings as Directeur de Cabinet to the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva and as Senior Officer in the Executive Office of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York.  He also worked in mediation and preventive diplomacy with the UN Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission and in UN peacekeeping and peacemaking field missions in Ethiopia/Eritrea and North/South Sudan.   

Earlier, as an academic/policy researcher, he carried out projects for several universities and think tanks and the World Bank.  He holds a BSFS from Georgetown University in International Politics, and both a MALD and a PhD in International Relations from Tufts University.  He speaks fluent French and basic Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured Joshua with the memento and  membership of International Business and Management Research Centre of Asian Education Group. The event was designed by Kazim Samandari and supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry & Indo American Film and Cultural Forum.
