New Delhi, India: The 22nd Indo–US Economic Summit, held at Hotel Leela Palace, featured a powerful and insightful session on Higher Education titled “Bridging Borders: Advancing Education and Skills for a Shared Global Future.” The session brought together distinguished leaders from academia, government, and industry to deliberate on the future of global education, skill development, and Indo–US collaboration.

The session was chaired by Dr. W. Selvamurthy, who set the tone for an engaging dialogue on transforming education to meet global standards and emerging industry needs. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation and innovative learning models.

Key speakers included: Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), who highlighted the growing need for global exchange programs, international research collaborations, and cross-border curriculum integration.

Prof. Dr. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, who spoke about AICTE’s initiatives to upgrade technical education, foster entrepreneurship, and harmonize Indian higher education with international benchmarks. Mr. Parth Sarthi Sen Sharma, IAS, ACS Basic and Secondary Education, who underlined the importance of strengthening foundational education and building a seamless path to higher learning and skill-based training.

Dr. Lalit Bhasin, who shared his expertise on legal education, academic reforms, and policy frameworks needed to support India’s academic globalisation efforts.

Representing the media and creative sector, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Media and Entertainment Committee of IACC, addressed the gathering. He stated, “Education today must transcend boundaries. The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mr. Marwah by Dr. Ravi Gupta, representing Chicago Open University, and Bhavna Gupta, Special Envoy from Dubai, in a ceremony filled with accolades and admiration.

With over a thousand accolades to his name, Marwah’s impact transcends borders, as he tirelessly represents India’s creative industry on the global stage and vice versa. His unparalleled achievements have been recognized in esteemed institutions worldwide, including seven honors in the British Parliament, seven times in Hungary, honoured in Wales Parliament, Munich Parliament, as well as acknowledgments from dignitaries such as the Presidents of USA, Cyprus, , Mongolia, Trinidad & Tobago, Afghanistan, Luxembourg,  India  and Prime Minister of Nepal . Sandeep Marwah Designs New Projects for IACC Media & Entertainment Committee

New Delhi, January 26, 2024 – Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chairman of the Media & Entertainment Committee, highlighted the potential for projecting the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in a much larger perspective during the regional council meeting.

Emphasizing the need for continuous programs in the media and entertainment industry to elevate the Chamber’s stature, Dr. Marwah proposed significant initiatives. “I am delighted to offer three Radio Stations – Radio Noida 107.4FM, Radio Raipur, and Radio Mumbai – for any and every program of IACC,” he announced. Additionally, he pledged to extend the coverage of IACC programs on MSTV of Marwah Studios.

The upcoming plans include participation in a seminar specially tailored for IACC during the 12th Global Festival of Journalism in Noida 2024, scheduled from February 12th to 14th. This will be followed by an international press conference for the Regional Council of IACC, culminating in a dynamic interaction program with the Asian Business School focusing on current India-USA relations.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Founder President of Asian Academy of Film and Television and International Film and Television Research Centre. He is already chairing large number of films, television, and media national & international organizations.

De. Sandeep Marwah is the producer of largest number of Short films and part of the Oscar winning film Smile Pinky. He is the teacher to more than 20,000 Media students from 145 countries of the World. He has been the recipient of hundreds of awards from all over the World for his nine World Records.

Noida: Asian Academy of Film and Television has recently signed a MOU with Cistula Tulipp Group- the Entertainment Felicitators around the World from United States of America to promote film activities in India and America.

“I have been to AAFT & Marwah Studios many times and always been impressed by the quality and quantity of work projected by Sandeep Marwah through his large organizations dealing in different creative works. I also faced many instances where I have come across very talented film makers, turns out to be the product of AAFT. I admire the bubbling energy of the campus every time you visit here,” said Mike Berry while signing the MOU at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah was attending a talk by Prof. Dipankar Gupta-Controversy-Pros And Cons followed by Summer Wine Evening designed by the Life Style Committee and Women’s Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

“These interactions are helpful in building contacts and networking. Indo American Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful repo with the American Embassy and they are always ready to arrange these kind of events,” said Aruna Sethi Chairperson of Lifestyle committee.

It was another occasion where Sandeep Marwah took the opportunity to invite an American Documentary film maker Tom Shepard to Marwah Studios to have a workshop and interaction with the faculty of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian School of Media Studies and Asian Business School at Noida Film City.

“Being the Chairperson of Indo American Chamber of Commerce Entertainment and Media Committee I feel it is important to bridge the gap between the film makers of two countries.” said Sandeep Marwah while introducing Tom Shepard the film maker, Thomas White the Editor of famous magazine ‘Documentary’, cultural affairs officer, Embassy of The United States of American Lydia Barraza and Supriya Suri of Cine Darbar.

“Documentaries can be very interesting by adding story to it’s subject” said Tom Shepard who also presented his award winning film ‘Scouts Honor’. Tom has also produced and directed other documentary films like ‘Knocking’, ‘Voting in America’, ‘Spark’ and ‘listening To America’.
