Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at Marwah Studios

 Marwah Studios commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great pride and patriotism, paying heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who displayed unparalleled courage and made the ultimate sacrifice during the Kargil War of 1999. The event brought together students, faculty members, media professionals, and distinguished guests to honour the valour and dedication of India’s defence forces. It was planned in association with AAFT and Rotary E Club of Winter Haven.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and former District Commandant, Delhi Home Guards, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, spoke passionately about the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the extraordinary bravery demonstrated by the Indian Armed Forces during the conflict.

“Kargil Vijay Diwas is a reminder of the courage, determination, and supreme sacrifice of our soldiers who safeguarded the sovereignty and integrity of our nation under the most challenging circumstances. It is our responsibility to preserve their legacy by inspiring future generations with the values of patriotism, discipline, and national service,” said Dr. Marwah.

He also shared his experiences associated with the Home Guards and emphasized the vital role played by security forces and uniformed services in maintaining national security and responding to emergencies. He encouraged the youth to contribute positively to nation-building through dedication, integrity, and social responsibility. A special tribute was paid to the martyrs of the Kargil War through a moment of silence.

The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the ideals of unity, patriotism, and national pride while remembering the immense sacrifices made by the heroes of Kargil. Marwah Studios reaffirmed its commitment to organizing programmes that instil national values and honour the brave men and women who serve the nation.

Noida: Vijay Diwas is commemorated every 16th December in India to observe Bangladesh’s victory over Pakistan in War of 1971 for the liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan. The end of the war also resulted in the unilateral and unconditional surrender of the Pakistan Army and subsequent secession of East Pakistan into Bangladesh.

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. I salute our gallant soldiers for their exemplary courage and supreme sacrifice to gain a decisive victory for our Nation in the 1971 war,” said Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout For India while talking to the members of Scouts Guides Organization in a webinar.

“There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. This will remain the land of the free so long as it is the home of the brave,” motivated Sandeep Marwah while addressing the youngsters from all over India.

New Delhi: 26th July has been declared as the Kargil Vijay Diwas, it was 19th year when we again remembered the 529 members of our forces who all laid their lives for the nation during this unwanted war with Pakistan.

“Eight year in Para military forces has taught me that how tough is the life of soldier.  My tenure in Delhi Home Guards probably was nothing before those who are deployed at the borders. Indian forces be it Air Force, Navy or Army are the most powerful setups in the World,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and former District Commander in Delhi Home Guards Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India while addressing the large audience at India Gate on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Major General k.k. Nohar made the keynote addresses.  Lt.Gen S. K. Gadiock Director General Police Padam shri Parkash singh, renowned journalist Barkha Dutt, Gen. V.K.Singh State Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, Suresh prabhu Union Minister of Commerce Government of India, Gen Rakesh sharma, Dr. Yogendra Narayan Former Secretary Rajya Sabha and Secretary GCTC Adiya Tikoo also spoke on the occasion.
