New Delhi, 9th May 2025: Renowned media personality and social leader Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, was honoured by the dynamic youth-driven organization Yuva Soch Army for his remarkable service to the nation. Dr. Marwah served in uniform for eight years as Honorary District Commandant DHG – Delhi Home Guards and has consistently contributed to social welfare initiatives throughout the year.

At a special ceremony, Dr. Marwah was felicitated for his enduring commitment to national service, civic discipline, and social upliftment. His dedication continues to inspire countless individuals across sectors.

25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemorated at Marwah Studios

Noida, July 26, 2024 – Marwah Studios hosted a grand function to honor the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, paying tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil conflict. The event, held on July 26th, celebrated the valor and dedication of the Indian armed forces, recognizing their immense yet often unseen contributions to national security.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and former District Commandant of Delhi Home Guards, inaugurated the ceremony by releasing a special poster commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas. In his address, Dr. Marwah emphasized the vital role of the armed forces, stating, “We are here to salute the services of our forces to the nation. Their contribution is immense but not visible so clearly. We are comfortable because they are on duty 24 hours a day. Let’s pay our respect to all who are in uniform and forces. Let’s pay our tribute to those who laid down their lives during Kargil twenty-five years back.”

The event featured notable speakers including Lt. General Anil Malik, Col. Krishan Gopal Soni, and Capt. Rajesh Trehan, former senior officers from the Army. They shared poignant stories and personal experiences from the time of the Kargil conflict, offering a deeper insight into the challenges and heroism of the soldiers.

Distinguished guests graced the ceremony with their presence, including Mr. Vinit Kumar from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India; Prof. Dr. Charulata Singh, Chairperson of the Delhi Chapter PRSI; Dr. Archana Kumari, Secretary of the Delhi Chapter PRSI; Prof. Dr. Shuchi Yadav from Media Studies at JNU; Ms. Sumita Singh, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communication at Indian Oil Corporation; and Ms. Harsh Bhargavi Pandiri, Treasurer of the Delhi Chapter PRSI.

The event was a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces, reaffirming the nation’s gratitude and respect for their unwavering dedication.

Army Day Celebrated at AAFT University


Noida: “Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year in India, in recognition of Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949,” informed Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and former District Commandant Delhi Home Guards, a Para Military Force in an event addressing media students

The day is celebrated in the form of parades and other military shows in the national capital New Delhi as well as in all headquarters. On 15 January 2020, India celebrated its 72nd Indian Army Day in New Delhi. Army Day marks a day to salute the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the country and its citizens.

“Forces has taught me a lot, Punctuality, sincerity, dedication, regularity, nationalism, attire, alertness and that all has helped me to reach to a stage where I have been nominated as Chief Scout For India. I want each and every student must go through the training of Army,” added Sandeep Marwah announcing a new body to be opened in AAFT.

National Security Day Observed at Marwah Studios


Noida: March 4 is observed as National Security Day to praise the work of security forces, who plays a major role in maintaining peace and security of the people in India. The day is also known as Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas. This day is dedicated to all the security forces such as policemen, commandos, guards, army officers, para-military forces and other persons involved in security, who sacrifice their life for maintaining the stability of the country.

“We salute all our security forces for their sincere contribution in maintaining peace in the country and at the borders of the Nation. This contribution cannot be compared to any other sacrifice other men are doing for the nation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The poster to praise our forces was released by the   Mercedes Gil Juscamaita Deputy Chief of the Mission and       Charge d’ Affairs of Embassy of Peru in India during the event.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah had been in Para Military force for 9 years and rose to the level of District Commandant in Delhi Home Guards. He won many accolades from forces and Ministry of Home Affairs, conducted 8 National Parades, been a part of   26th January Parade and had been adjudged as best turnout officer for 8 years, informed Haripriya Thakur to the audience.

15th August Celebrated at Marwah Studios


Noida: The management and administration of Marwah Studios celebrated the 71st Independence day of India with great enthusiasm and zest at Noida Film City.

“I am proud to be Indian. My every activity leads to love, peace and unity first for the country and then for human beings. My every step is meant to take India to a better platform,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios addressing large gathering of media persons at the studios.

Not many people know hat Sandeep Marwah has been a part of Para Military Force and has spent 8 years in Delhi Home Guards. He had been adjudged as the best officer for 8 years and commanded 8 parades on different occasions. He had also participated in 26th January Republic Day Parade at India Gate and 15th August Independence Celebration at Red Fort for 8 continuous years and was selected to command the Republic Day parade one time.

Director Events Haripriya Thakur Director Broadcasting Sushil Bharti and Secretary General International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Ashok Tyagi also attended the event. A poster to mark respect to the Nation was released by Sandeep Marwah.
