AAFT Alumnus Amit Agarwal on OTT Platform with Attractive Program

Noida: Amit R Agarwal, award-winning alumnus of AAFT, Noida has carved out a niche for himself in international film festivals and film circuits worldwide. A regular @ Cannes Film Festival, Locarno, Toronto and American Film Market, he did the opposite of what filmmakers do! He first created a buzz in international arena and now is making waves in the Indian market with, 69 Opposites Attract, the Longest Running Webseries in the World, part of Doctoral Thesis approved by Faculty of Law, UNSW, Australia.

The series is running from 2018 and will go upto  2121. He credits, Prof. Sandeep Marwah, and is full of gratitude for him, as he personally guided Amit to success in film industry. While the prelude completed 50 Million views across social media platforms worldwide, Season 1 of the series is available from 24th December 2020 on multiple platforms, Roku channel Vooxhoo in America & Europe, Vimeo OTT worldwide except Asia, Mowgli Baba, India & all over the world. Amit plans to release Season 2 on 14th February 2021.

New Delhi: Marwah Studios, Noida Film City was opted by him as the starting point this time again to march towards Greater Noida-a to and fro run of 100 Kilo Meters by this courageous boy Himanshu Kumar from AAFT to complete his cycling in 5 hours.

11th October 2020 Twenty Eight year-old Himanshu  Kumar created a new record. However, his self-titled cyclothon is with a difference. The Delhi-based para-athlete, who had his left leg amputated after a road accident in 2008, took on the journey supported by a prosthetic blade.

“It was my pleasure and honour to flag for this single star race of 100 KM which Himanshu has completed today in five hours. AAFT is going to honour him in a big function, unfortunately not many people could attend because of pandemic but he has to be appreciated for his enthusiasm and zest,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University of Media And Arts standing right at the gate of Marwah Studios in film city.

AAFT Alumnus Masoom Singh in Back To Dad


New Delhi: A full length Hindi feature film was released today with great pomp and show all over India with AAFT alumnus Masoom Singh as its lead.

The President of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television Sandeep Marwah was the guest of honor at the first show specially carved out for the friends and relatives of Masoom Singh.

“I am proud of Masoom Singh who has performed so well in his role and captured the audience throughout the two hours of drama,” appreciated Sandeep Marwah talking to the press at Narayana PVR.

Film has actors like Kalpana Bhattarai, Samuel Kamble, Kiran Singh and others with Masoom Singh. The film is directed by Prabhat Kumar, Produced by Anup Gadal, Music by Yug Bhusal and cinematography by Nishant Saha.

The story goes like this-Rich and spoilt brat Joel goes around squandering his father's money and living irresponsibly. When he falls in love with a girl named Abhiya, Joel decides to elope with her after stealing as much as he can from his father's bank account. However, Joel is in for a rude awakening when Abhiya swindles him and gets away with his belongings. A distraught Joel realises that he has been wrong all along, and his only hope of redemption might be making amends with the man he wronged.

AAFT Celebrated Success of Feature Film Fukrey Returns


Fukrey Returns Directed by AAFT Alumnus Mrigdeep Lamba


New Delhi: “I extend my heartiest congratulations to the team of feature film Fukrey especially to Mrigdeep Singh Lamba for doing so well at the box office,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television while addressing the young aspirants of AAFT at Noida Film City.

 Fukrey Returns is an Indian comedy film, directed by AAFT Alumnus Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film is the sequel to 2013 film Fukrey. The film was released on 8 December 2017

Pulkit Samrat as Hunny, Varun Sharma as Choocha, Ali Fazal as Zafar, Manjot Singh as Lali, Priya Anand as Priya Sharma, Vishakha Singh as Neetu Raina, Pankaj Tripath as Pandit, Richa Chadda as Bholi Punjaban, Rajiv Gupta as Mantriji, Natasa StankoviSpecial appearance in the song Mehbooba have performed in the film.

The music of the film is composed by Sharib-Toshi, Sumeet Bellary, Prem-Hardeep, Jasleen Royal, Gulraj Singh, Shree D and Ishq Bector while the lyrics have been penned by Kumaa, Satya Khare, Aditya Sharma, Shree D, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Vipul Vig and Raftaar. Zee Music Company released the sound track.

“I am proud of my institution AAFT. Blessings of my Gurus are with me. I can never my learnings at AAFT,” said Mrigdeep Singh Lamba the director of the film.

AAFT Is Proud Of Akshat An Actor In Lead




“Good education in film and television with practical at AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television is the reason of my success” said Akshat an alumnus of the institute today at the Academy to pay his gratitude to his alma matter on the completion of his first project in Acting as a lead Actor in feature film ‘Mr. Majnu’

“I am impressed by the gesture of Akshat who has taken all the pain to come back from Mumbai to meet all of us before the release of his film for blessings” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “We wish him great success” Marwah added.

The feature film ‘Mr. Majnu’ is Produced by Aarti & Sanjeev Uppal, Story & Directed by Geeta Tomar, Screenplay by Prakash Singh, Director of Photography Brijlala, Edited by Deepak Kapoor, Music by Naveen Jawda, Choreography by Aslam Khan, Sound by Suresh Manna.

The star cast includes Neha, Saurabh, Sheha, Sangeeta Kapoor, Ratika, Goldy Baba with AAFT alumnus Akshat of 59 batch of Acting.
