Sandeep Marwah Honored by Hungarian Film Fraternity


H.E. Kumar Tuhin Honored Sandeep Marwah With Media Award


Budapest: “Sandeep Marwah of Republic of India is the first Indian to be honored in Hungary for the fifth time for his deep interest in Hungary and India friendship. His contribution to bring two countries together will be appreciated every time. I on behalf of Hungarian film and television family honor him for his untiring contribution to films, television and media,” said Ferenc Borbely renowned actor, Film & TV Producer from Hungary.

Present on the occasion Indian Ambassador to Hungary H.E. Kumar Tuhin presented the award to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and said,” India is proud of your achievements. I have never heard anyone has ever done so much of work in media the way Dr. Marwah has narrated in few minutes. Creating numerous records on one side and developing relations with the world through art and culture on the other hand is commendable,”

“We are keeping the award from tourism industry for the next time. Dr. Marwah’s contribution to film tourism needs another applause,” added Edit Osko renowned member of tourism industry.

“I have the pleasure to work with Dr. Marwah, he has been honored four times Doctorate, only Indian to bring more than 120 international awards back home. Six world records, and a family of 15000 media professionals, Dr. Marwah now is the first Chancellor of first film University,” said Prof. Karl Bardosh Hungarian film maker based in New York University.

Two minutes silence was observed to pay respect to the departed soul Andrew G Vajna the biggest name in the Hungarian and Hollywood film industry. The event was followed by   Dinner. Deepa Tuhin and Reena Marwah were also present on the occasion.

ICMEI Presented AAFT Scholarship to Ambassador of Hungary


New Delhi: An AAFT scholarship for a short-term course in media was presented to H.E. Gyula Pethő Ambassador of Hungary to India under Indo Hungarian Film Association of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“We are pleased to handover a scholarship for the deserving student from Hungary to be nominated by the Embassy of Hungary to study cinema in India. AAFT has already attracted students from many countries abroad,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“I on behalf of Embassy of Hungary extend my heartiest thanks for the lovely gesture extended by ICMEI and Dr. Marwah. We know that you are friends of Hungary and ample has been done together to promote art and culture. We expect that this friendship will grow to new level,” said H.E. Gyula Pethő Ambassador of Hungary to India.
