Global Fashion Week Noida 2023 Full of Enthusiasm at Marwah Studios

Second Session of 7th Global Fashion Week Inaugurated with Pomp and Show

Noida’s Marwah Studios was buzzing with excitement as the Global Fashion Week Noida 2023 kicked off in style created by AAFT School of Fashion & Design. The first day of the event saw an array of designers influenced from different countries showcasing their creativity and flair on the runway. Azerbaijan, Ghana, Gambia, Bahamas, Paraguay, Cyprus, and Hungary all participated in the event, presenting their unique takes on fashion.

The event was made possible thanks to the support of the Indo-Hungary Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Azerbaijan, Indo-Cyprus, Indo-Paraguay, Indo-Bahamas, Indo-Gambia, and Indo-Ghana Film and Cultural Forums of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios & President of ICMEI emphasized how art and culture play an essential role in strengthening international relations.

Each designer brought their unique style to the event. Tanisha Gupta and Fiza Noor showcased a range of garments inspired by Azerbaijan, while Anshika Srivastava presented designs influenced by Ghanaian culture. Yashi Singhal drew inspiration from the Gambia, while Nisha Kumari touched on the fashion sensibilities of the Bahamas. Priyal brought a Paraguayan flair to her designs, and Swati Sinha showcased a range influenced by Cyprus. Aashi and Gunjan Mishra presented a collection that paid tribute to the vibrant culture of Hungary.

The Global Fashion Week Noida 2023 promises to be an exciting and vibrant event, showcasing the creativity and diversity of the fashion industry. As the event continues, we look forward to seeing more innovative designs and stunning presentations from designers around the world.

The session was inaugurated by H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India, Dr. Mariann Erdo Cultural Counsellor of Embassy of Hungary., A coffee table book was also released designed by Riya Jain. Ritu Lal Director of the festival extended vote of thanks to everyone.

Budapest: “We don’t make movies to make money, we make money to make more movies. When given an opportunity, deliver excellence and never quit. A film is  more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. When it comes to short films you can be poetic and you don’t have to answer anything. You can make whatever you want. You have creative freedom with short film,” said Sandeep Marwah Film maker and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts from India who was talking in the capacity of Co-President of Hungarian Shoot 4 Earth competition.

The Shoot4Earth global competition has been designed by Gábor Kindl (Projekt director) and this is the forth edition where International Short films are invited from all over  World which are made within a day.

Renowned award winning film make, film writer and daughter of Marshall McLuhan, Terry C. McLuhan is the Brand Ambassador of the organization. She is also author of the books:-Touch the Earth-The Way of the Earth – Encounters with Nature in Ancient and Contemporary Thought.

Istvan Szabo renowned Oscar winning Director from Hungary is the head of International Jury. Professor Karl Bardosh Master Prof. Tisch School of Arts New York University is nominated as Artistic Director of the show.

Prof. Peter Terezakis  Associate Arts Professor at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts,. Arnon Louiv Dantas writer Producer from South American Regional Producer Association, Prof. Max Schleser  filmmaker, award-winning transmedia producer and member of Australia Regional Producer, Tianyuan  award-winning director and screenwriter from China, Peter Vadocz award winning  film maker  are members of the jury.

Tibor Nagyistok Video journalist, Ryta Gaal Photographer, photojournalist Miami, Prof. Dr. Gabor Szecsi Dean University of Pécs, Faculty of Cultural Studies, , Dr. Zsuzsanna Slezak Bartos Assistant professor Head of the higher education vocational training of the production organizer of PTE KPV and  Erno Urban Producer and founder of  Filming in Pécs are also members of the international jury.

Visit to Budapest Is An Experience- Sandeep Marwah

Budapest: The Managing Director of NFTC- National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited and Chair for India Skills Development Council Dr. Sandeep Marwah spent 6 days in Budapest to learn the ways and means of the country of Hungary.

It all started with the respect to Indian Embassy and meeting H.E. Kumar Tuhin Ambassador of India to Hungary. An interaction with renowned traveller and consultant Edit Esko and renowned Hungarian Film Maker Ferenc Borbely was learning experience.

Being a Vice President of the first Mobile Film Festival along with Prof. Karl Bardosh of New York University and Yuanyuan Film Finance Consultant from China was another good experience, which followed by press conference.

Spending time with Dr. Phd Robert Richard film and television personality and understanding the international ways of festival also added to the game. An award for being Vice President of the festival was a motivating action too.

Visit to Oktopus Multimedia Institute and joining hands with AAFT added a lot to the trip. Meeting with Filmmaker Jeno Hodi Director of Budapest Film Academy was revival of the contacts.

Meetings with Judith Lazar renowned makeup artists, Zsuzsi actor Dancer, Tibor Kovac former Director Hungarian Cultural Centre, Entz Boldizsar Peter, Abdul Korkut, Steve Kaszi, Journalist Ildi and TV interview by Csilla Temesvari of RTL Club were other events of the trip.

Visiting some unique and popular locations like New York Café, Heritage Hotel Corinthia, Hotel Kempenski, Trofea Grill, Café 57, Café Gerbeaud & Site seeing of the city, ferry ride at river Danube was a great pleasure. Visit to village Szentendre located at the river Danube, a beautiful tourist place, was worth spending whole day.

“Prestigious Media award by film fraternity of Hungary for being Chair for Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum on the last day was a surprise, which was followed by Dinner at Szazeves one of the oldest restaurant in Budapest,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Hungarian Film Fraternity


H.E. Kumar Tuhin Honored Sandeep Marwah With Media Award


Budapest: “Sandeep Marwah of Republic of India is the first Indian to be honored in Hungary for the fifth time for his deep interest in Hungary and India friendship. His contribution to bring two countries together will be appreciated every time. I on behalf of Hungarian film and television family honor him for his untiring contribution to films, television and media,” said Ferenc Borbely renowned actor, Film & TV Producer from Hungary.

Present on the occasion Indian Ambassador to Hungary H.E. Kumar Tuhin presented the award to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and said,” India is proud of your achievements. I have never heard anyone has ever done so much of work in media the way Dr. Marwah has narrated in few minutes. Creating numerous records on one side and developing relations with the world through art and culture on the other hand is commendable,”

“We are keeping the award from tourism industry for the next time. Dr. Marwah’s contribution to film tourism needs another applause,” added Edit Osko renowned member of tourism industry.

“I have the pleasure to work with Dr. Marwah, he has been honored four times Doctorate, only Indian to bring more than 120 international awards back home. Six world records, and a family of 15000 media professionals, Dr. Marwah now is the first Chancellor of first film University,” said Prof. Karl Bardosh Hungarian film maker based in New York University.

Two minutes silence was observed to pay respect to the departed soul Andrew G Vajna the biggest name in the Hungarian and Hollywood film industry. The event was followed by   Dinner. Deepa Tuhin and Reena Marwah were also present on the occasion.

AAFT And Budapest Academy Will Work Together

Budapest: Renowned Holywood Producer Director Jeno Hodi called upon Dr. Sandeep Marwah during his stay in Budapest to discuss and promote relation between two film institutions AAFT University of Media And Arts and Budapest Academy.

“We are ready for student exchange program, joint ventures for short film, exchange of films and film festivals, and faculty exchange program with Budapest Film Academy. It will give wonderful exposure to the students of both the institutions,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University of Media And Arts,

“Meeting Dr. Marwah is always a pleasing exercise. He is always full of new ideas and zest. I would like to visit India may be in the end of this year to be part of Global Film Festival,” said Jeno Hodi.

He is also the Chairman at Cinepartners Entertainment. He studied film directing and screenwriting at Columbia University, School of the Arts.

Budapest: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios honored in Budapest in Hungary for his untiring contribution in developing and promoting relation between the people of Hungary and India.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Vice President of Jury for the first International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in Hungary. He has been Chair for Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum also. This is his fifth visit to the capital of Hungary. He has been representing Indian Film industry earlier also for the Jameson Cinefest Miskolc International Film Festival where he was the chief guest for the festival.

He has been member of the jury for Film festival Earth funded by Red Cross with Jiri Menzel and Istvan Szabo Oscar winning directors from Czech Republic and Hungary. Dr. Marwah is the only Indian who has been honored largest time in Hungary for his contribution to films, television, arts and culture promotion.

Dr. Phd. Kiss Robert Richard renowned journalist and President of the festival at Budapest presented an award to Dr. Marwah. ”I am touched by the gesture extended to me   during my stay at Budapest. I cannot forget the love and affection shown to me by  all Hungarians. It was home beyond home,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the press at Hotel Corinthia at Erzsébet krt, Budapest.

Budapest: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts and Chairperson of Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum invited by H.E. Kumar Tuhin Ambassador of India to Hungary at the Embassy of India.

It was a long discussion and number of points were discussed to develop and built up better relations between the people of two countries-India and Hungary through art and culture.

“We are trying our level best to create a wonderful relation between people of two countries by way of films, television, media, art and culture, tourism, skill development, etc. Recently we have also handed over the scholarship for the deserving student from Hungary to study films in India,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios visiting Budapest as Vice President of first            mobile film festival of Hungary.

“I am happy to receive Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has done commendable work in developing relation between two countries. He deserves pat on his back. New Delhi: An AAFT scholarship for a short-term course in media was presented to H.E. Gyula Pethő Ambassador of Hungary to India under Indo Hungarian Film Association of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“We are pleased to handover a scholarship for the deserving student from Hungary to be nominated by the Embassy of Hungary to study cinema in India. AAFT has already attracted students from many countries abroad,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“I on behalf of Embassy of Hungary extend my heartiest thanks for the lovely gesture extended by ICMEI and Dr. Marwah. We know that you are friends of Hungary and ample has been done together to promote art and culture. We expect that this friendship will grow to new level,” said H.E. Gyula Pethő Ambassador of Hungary to India.

Noida: Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios has wonderful and long lasting relations with the country of Hungary. He is the only Indian to be honored four times in Hungary for his involvement with different organizations through films, art and culture.

This time a powerful two persons delegation consisting of Janos Zolcer a senior film producer & Journalist from Budapest and Zsolt Pakozdy  Counsellor Economy and Trade from the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi visited Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.

Earlier I had heard of now I have seen AAFT with my own eyes, Why it has been rated as first ten best film schools of the World. I appreciate the gesture extended towards me by Marwah,” said Janos Zollcer producer of more than 100 documentaries in Budapest.

Sandeep Marwah is an old friend to Hungary. He is   the most popular Indian in Hungary. Indian Hungarian cultural relations have taken a new shape under leadership,” said Zsolt Pakozdy Chief Counsellor Economy and Trade, Embassy of Hungary in India.
