Hungarian Delegation at AAFT


Noida: Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios has wonderful and long lasting relations with the country of Hungary. He is the only Indian to be honored four times in Hungary for his involvement with different organizations through films, art and culture.

This time a powerful two persons delegation consisting of Janos Zolcer a senior film producer & Journalist from Budapest and Zsolt Pakozdy  Counsellor Economy and Trade from the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi visited Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.

Earlier I had heard of now I have seen AAFT with my own eyes, Why it has been rated as first ten best film schools of the World. I appreciate the gesture extended towards me by Marwah,” said Janos Zollcer producer of more than 100 documentaries in Budapest.

Sandeep Marwah is an old friend to Hungary. He is   the most popular Indian in Hungary. Indian Hungarian cultural relations have taken a new shape under leadership,” said Zsolt Pakozdy Chief Counsellor Economy and Trade, Embassy of Hungary in India.

New Delhi: “My relation with Hungary is through art, culture, cinema and education. This relation ship can be further expanded through chambers like PHD, ICMEI and HCCI in different fields. More business can be created between the two friends country,” said Sandeep Marwah Chairman of Art and Culture Committee of PHD addressing the delegation from Hungary at New Delhi.

Balazs Laki of Basilicon, Tamas Beneze Studniczki Rita of Budapest Water Works, Antal Ferenc of CEC Connector Bt, Csonka Endre of First Papermill in Budapest, Dr. Larissza Barakka of Kometa 99 Zrt., Rev Andrais of Rev Group, Kiss Robertof Sfi Engineering Hungary Kft. and Nemes Sarolta of Wekerle Business School were the part of the delegation.


Mr. Zsolt Pákozdy, Senior Commercial Counsellor and  Mr. Péter Schmidt, Commercial Counsellor were also present there. The senior director PHD Yogesh Srivastav conducted the seminar.

Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios is the only Indian who has brought 4 awards from Hungary to India. He is also the Chairperson of Indo Hungarian Film Association.

New Delhi: Hungarian Information And Cultural Centre has become a popular station for promoting art and culture in Delhi. The Director of the center Dr. Zoltan Wilimiem invited Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios as a special guest to the exhibition.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the visiting State Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Dr. Csaba Balogh, H.E. Gyula Petho Ambassador of Hungary to India and Prof. Lokesh Chandra President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

India and Hungary are good friends and both the countries believe in developing relations through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah also Chairing Indo Hungarian Film Association.

The exhibition was attended by Edit Osko from Hungary, H.E. Zigmund Bertok
 Ambassador of Slovak to India, Ankit Nagpal Media Consultant and many other important people from the field of art and culture.

The exhibition on glass painting at the Balassi Institute, New Delhi titled Colour-Drenched Sunshine Art Noveau Glass Works is based on Miksa Roth’s work will be open to public on weekdays from 13th October to 27th October, Weekdays between 10AM – 04PM.

Budapest: “ Our Heartiest congratulations to Sandeep Marwah on receiving prestigious award from House of Commons at British Parliament.  His contribution to International relations and especially Indo Hungarian are worth mentioning,” said Edit Osko renowned travel agent of Budapest announcing an award for Sandeep Marwah in a meeting at Hotel Marriott River Side in Budapest.

“Indo Hungarian Film Association was created on the first visit and the leadership of Sandeep Marwah way back in 2012. It was decided to work under this organization to promote art and culture of both the countries. Many programs have been devised under this forum. We all are proud to be part of this organization, added Judith Rachel Lazar renowned makeup and film artist.

“We are pleased to honor Sandeep Marwah for his untiring contribution in promoting the relations between two countries India & Hungary through arts and culture. His participation is continuous and has grown in last so many years,” said Boldizsar Peter Entz a business man and Consulate General of Ghana in Hungary.

H.E. Rahul Chabbra Indian Ambassador to Hungary, Prof. Janos a renowned writer of 30 books from Hungary, Jeno Hodi film producer and director Budapest Film Academy also extended their best wishes to Marwah on receiving Hungarian Award.

“I am pleased to inform about Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum to Ambassador which was constituted few years back at Hungary itself. Ample has been done to promote film, television, media, art and culture to bring two countries together under this forum,” said Sandeep Marwah quoting many events which had taken place in India.

ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is looking for more opportunities to work with Hungarians in the near future. The meeting was concluded with grand dinner.
