Dr. Sandeep Marwah of ICMEI Extends Greetings to Iraq on Independence Day

Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair for the Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum, extended his heartiest congratulations to Mr. Nazar Mirjan Mohammed, Chargé d’Affaires of Iraq in India, and to the people of Iraq on the auspicious occasion of Iraq’s Independence Day, celebrated on 3rd October.

Dr. Marwah emphasized the strong and cordial relations between India and Iraq, highlighting the significant role of art, culture, and media in bringing the two nations closer. “India and Iraq have always shared warm and friendly relations. Through the Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum, ICMEI has been consistently promoting cultural diplomacy and strengthening ties between our countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

He further mentioned that Iraq has been actively involved in all major international events organized by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, International Documentary Film Festival, and International Food Festival, among others.

Dr. Marwah reaffirmed his commitment to continue fostering strong cultural and artistic exchanges between India and Iraq through the forum’s ongoing initiatives.

ICMEI Congratulates Iraq on Their Independence Day

Noida, India: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, extends heartfelt congratulations to Nazar Mirjan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Iraq, and to the people of Iraq on the occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on October 3rd.

The Indo-Iraq Film and Cultural Forum, based in New Delhi, is dedicated to fostering cultural and artistic exchange between India and Iraq. Dr. Marwah highlighted ICMEI’s commitment to strengthening ties and enhancing collaboration between the two nations, whose relationship continues to grow.

Iraq has been a valued partner in ICMEI’s major events, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, and Global Food Festival. These events have provided a platform to celebrate Iraqi culture and heritage while promoting mutual understanding and friendship.

The Indo-Iraq Film and Cultural Forum regularly invites representatives from Iraq and the Embassy of Iraq to participate in important cultural programs, furthering the bond between the two countries. Indo Iraq Cultural Forum Presented Friendly Matches

Noida: Indo Iraq Cultural Forum in association Footvolley Association of India organized friendly matches with the team of Iraq on their visit to India under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron of the organization to bring love peace and unity between the two countries at Marwah studios complex 2 at Noida.

Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum was created to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries. Only yesterday we had a cultural program for all the players of India and Iraq to break the ice. I extend my heartiest congratulations to everyone for these friendly matches,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum.

“Sports and games are the best way to raise the level of friendship. Not only it keeps you fit and healthy but also inculcate sportsmanship within you. Dr. Marwah is the cultural Ambassador of India and his contribution in developing relations with large number of countries cannot be ignored. I congratulate both the teams and wish then wonderful matches,” said Gen J.J. Singh former Chief of the Army Staff.

“We are very excited and charged with new energy by organizing these matches. These matches have brought two countries close to each other,” said Ram Avtar President of Footvolley Association of India.

The twenty-three-member delegation of footvolley from Iraq was under the leadership of president of the organization Safa and Asad. India team was handled by Ram Avtar. The friendly matches covered international games like Footvolley, Student Football, Futnet also called Football Tennis and Teqball at the grounds of Asian Business School.

Dr. Lalitya Srivastava, Saurab Sharma & Gurdeep Singh of Asian Education Group, Nixon Thotan  of GVNN TV from Goa, Arijit Bhatacharya of World Ledership Summit from Kolkata, Narender Sharma Social Worker, Illa Rani Sharma from Uttarakhand, Raman Raghunath from Tamil Nadu, A K Mohammad Ashraf from Kerala and Noel Josef from Maharashtra also joined from their states to be part of this international program. Later all the sportspersons were honored for their participation.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Asian Unity Alliance and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

National Day of Iraq Celebrated at ICMEI


New Delhi: “I on behalf of the complete media and entertainment industry and Art & Culture Fraternity of India extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India and the people of Iraq on the auspicious occasion of National Day of Iraq which falls on 3rd  October,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And entertainment Industry.

The bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of India have traditionally been friendly and collaborative. Cultural interaction and economic trade between Indus Valley and Mesopotamia date back to 1800 BCE. The 1952 Treaty of Friendship established and strengthened ties between contemporary India and Iraq. By the 1970s, Iraq was regarded as one of India’s closest allies in the Middle East.

“I am happy that recently we have formed Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between two countries and looking for opportunities to promote relation between people to people. I am thankful to the Ambassador for nominating me as the chair for the same,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

 The bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of India have traditionally been friendly and collaborative. Noida: H.E. Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India is now Patron of newly formed Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Iraq in India.

“We are elevated with the presence of H.E. Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India and charged with new energy to work for the development and promotion of relations between India and Iraq under his great leadership as the patron to the association,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI in a program to launch Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum. at Noida Film City.

“This is the right start to promote our relations with India from the grass root level when on the very first day we have involved the young generation into our account. This is the most effective way to build a new bridge of art and culture between the two countries,” said Dr, Falah Abdulhasan accepting the Patronship of the forum. He was accompanied with Sarmad Dilshad Aioob the Second Secretary in Embassy of Iraq.

Noida: Renowned film, television and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been honored and nominated as the Chair for newly formed Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum.

“We here by nominate   Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum. We have full confidence that under the leadership of Sandeep this forum will take us to new platform and both countries India and Iraq will be able to do better in their relations through arts and culture,” said Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India.

“I am lucky to be nominated Chair for IIFCF- Indo Iraq Film &  Cultural Forum.  We will leave no stone unturned to convert this new joint venture as one of the most famous center in India and abroad,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is five times World Record Holder, Founder of Noida Film City, founder president of Marwah Studios, and Asian Education Group. He is the recipient of largest number of national and international awards in India for his contribution to promotion of art and culture.

He is the managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited, Chair for India Skills Development Council, Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Organizations and recently again nominated by Government as the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Noida: A first ever Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum has been created by the Embassy of   Iraq in India in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

In a grand function Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum was formally inaugurated by H E Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India to develop and promote relation between two countries through arts and culture in the presence of film, television, media art and cultural representatives of the industry.

“We believe that relations between two countries can be developed to new platform through arts and culture. We are now keen in exchanging our culture by launching a forum like this,” said H.E. Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada Ambassador of Iraq to India.

“This is another feather in the cap of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry with the opening of  new chapter on Iraq. We have already entertained people from Iraq earlier in our different international summits. It is a day of celebration,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

A poster was released to mark respect to the decision of launching of forum. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented a project report on Iraq to Ambassador Prepared by the students of AAFT under Students Committee on Iraq.

Where Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada was presented with the memento for the Patronship of Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum, there Dr. Abdulhasan also horned and presented the responsibility of Chair of the forum to Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Soon ICMEI and Embassy of Iraq will sign MOU in coming days to strengthen the relation between two countries.

Sandeep Marwah Guest of Honor at First Iraqi Film Festival

New Delhi: Renowned film personality and President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah was guest of honor at the festival of films from Iraq at Habitat Centre.

“I on behalf of Indian Film Industry and ICMEI extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Dr. Falah Abdulhasan and his complete team for organizing the first ever film festival in India. Film is the best Ambassador of culture of any country. Iraq may not be a film producer of large films but Iraqi films has been acclaimed as good cinema and has brought many accolades and awards from International film festivals,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah also president of Marwah Studios.

“I feel honored in announcing a scholarship for the deserving student from Iraq to learn cinema in India. We are ready for joint production of short film with Iraqi director. I would love to present this festival in Noida Film City,” added Marwah thanking Embassy of Iraq for inviting him for first festival.

T.S. Trimurti Secretary Ministry of External Affairs Government of India, G. Parthasarthi former Ambassador and President of Habitat Centre along with many Ambassadors and High Commissioners, Diplomats, film lovers and cinemagoers were present there for the inauguration of the festival and the screening of first film ‘The Sands of Babylon’ in Arabic made in 2013 for 92 minutes Directed by Mohamed Al-Daradji. The program was coordinated by Deepak Kapoor.
