ICMEI Celebrated 17th July as South Korean Constitution Day


Indo Korea Film And Cultural Forum Celebrated National Day


New Delhi: Constitution Day in South Korea is observed on 17 July, the day that the South Korean constitution was proclaimed in 1948. The date was deliberately chosen to match the founding date of 17 July of the Joseon dynasty.

 “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete Indian Media And Entertainment Industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. SHIN Bongkil Ambassador of Republic of Korea to India and the people of South Korea on this very important constitution day which falls on 17th July. May Republic of  India and  Republic of Korea be the best of friends for ever,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo South Korea Film And Cultural Forum.

The two visits of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to South Korea on the invitation of International Youth Fellowship added a lot to the relation between two countries. First it was Seoul and second time it was Busan where Dr. Marwah met many people associated with films, television, media, education, art & Culture. Dr. Marwah is now an International advisor to IYA with office in 90 countries of the World.

NFTC Visited Korea For Tourism Research

Busan: The Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited  Seoul and Busan in Korea to understand the fast rise in Korean Tourism.

“It is hard to believe that a country which was almost last in the list has risen so fast to an international standards and now been called the developed Nation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah talking to the press at Hotel Premier Centum at Busan.

“The best part of the country and country men is that they are very patriotic and nation concerned. Not only they talk but every individual is involved in proving the same,” added Dr. Marwah.

A high time for all of us in India to get connected to  our works and be honest to our profession to attain success in the near future. There is a big potential in the country if countrymen love their country.

 Busan is South Korea's second most-populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.5 million inhabitants. It is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern Korea, with its port—Korea's busiest and the fifth busiest in the world.

Sandeep Marwah Spoke About Indian Film Industry at South Korea



Sandeep Marwah Addressed at Education Summit

Busan: “We are the largest   film industry in the World. We produce more than 2000 films in 28 official languages. There are 12000 theatres in India and 15 million people watch cinema every day. We sell 5 billion cinema tickets every year.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry during World Education Leaders Forum meet at World Cultural Camp at Busan University in South Korea.

Media And Entertainment Industry also includes 900 television channels, 30,000 newspapers and magazines, 350 Radio Stations and One Billion mobile phones out of which 25 percent are smart phones in India. The media arts and Entertainment industry has employed 6 million workers. The turnover of this industry has crossed 20 billion US Dollars and expected to be 28 Billion Dollarrs in next       2/3 years.

“Films are the real mirror of the culture of any country,  these kind of cultural camps at International levels such as organized by International Youth Fellowship brings lots of love, peace and unity among countrymen and people from different  nations,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah invited people of all nations to attend Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Festival of Journalism and Global Fashion Week in India too.

International Olympic Day Celebrated at AAFT University


Noida: Olympic Day was introduced in 1948 to commemorate the birth of the modern Olympic Games on 23 June 1894 at the Sorbonne in Paris. The goal was to promote participation in sport across the globe regardless of age, gender or athletic ability informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University and Patron to Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world: hundreds of thousands of people – young and old – participate in sports activities, such as runs, exhibitions, music and educational seminars.

“Olympic Day is nowadays developing into much more than just a sports event. Based on the three pillars “move”, “learn” and “discover”, National Olympic Committees are deploying sports, cultural and educational activities,” said Paul Song Director of International Youth Fellowship Korea based in Delhi.

 “Some countries have incorporated the event into the school curriculum and, in recent years, many NOCs have added concerts and exhibitions to the celebration,” added Kim Soo Yeon Director International Youth Fellowship, Korea.
 
Commemorating the birth of the modern Olympic games, Olympic Day is not only a celebration, but an international effort to promote fitness and well-being in addition to the Olympic ideals of Fair Play, Perseverance, Respect and Sportsmanship.

Global Day of Parents Celebrated at Marwah Studios




Noida: Global Day of Parents was celebrated at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City to promote the traditions and  culture of India.

 “Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving. We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves. Parents were the only ones obligated to love you; from the rest of the world you had to earn it,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television on the poster launch ceremony on Global Day of Parents at Marwah Studios.

“The depth of the love of parents for their children cannot be measured. It is like no other relationship. It exceeds concern for life itself. The love of a parent for a child is continuous and transcends heartbreak and disappointment,” added Paul Song Director of International Youth Fellowship Korea in the capacity of the Chief Guest of the event.

A father's goodness is higher than the mountain, a mother's goodness deeper than the sea- is been propagating by AAFT from time to time. AAFT has also been promoting Love Peace and Unity through art and culture as its prime objective. The event was supported by Indo Korean Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI.
