143rd Sardar Patel Jyanti Celebrated at AAFT

Poster Released on 143rd Anniversary of Sardar Patel


Noida:  A poster was released to mark the 143rd Jyanti of Sardar Patel at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City with film and media students of the institution.

“I am feeling energetic when I think of great leader like Sardar Patel. His contribution in building united India is immense. I thoroughly believe in his ideology as I have spent 12 years in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya- a school after the name of this leader,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“We are strong as we have Sardar Patel Forum within the house and its formation at AAFT has left impact on the young minds too. WE are collecting and producing now films on Sardar Patel, a large number of books also have been ordered as a part of library,” added Marwah.

Vallabhbhai Patel popularly known as Sardar Patel, was an Indian politician. He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was an Indian barrister and statesman, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and a founding father of the Republic of India who played a leading role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.

Mahatma Gandhi Forum Celebrates World Smile Day

“We have given a personality like Mahatma Gandhi to the World, why should we Indians hesitate to understand his thinking” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum while remembering his deeds on the occasion of World Smile Day, a day before the Gandhi Jyanti, the 142nd birthday of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi at Noida Film City.

A forum under the name of Mahatma Gandhi has been formed at Marwah Studios to highlight the thinking of M.K.Gandhi, the Father of the Nation where a film and books library, study and research papers and short films are going to be produced.

“A smile begets Smile which is the best way to greet the people of this World even if you don’t know the language of the country” added Sandep Marwah, a true Gandhian who has been spreading Gandhian Language from last 30 years.

Others who spoke on the occasion were R.K. Singh Vice President International Public Broadcasting Forum, Dr. Latika Sahani, Dean ABS, Trilok Sharma of Noida Ad Agency, Dr. Om Gupta Secretary General of Indo Nigerian Film Association and media students Deepti Verma. Mainaki Chatterjee.,Inderneel Khan., Ria Singh, Avinash Kumar, Ram Bahadur Yadav, Varun Gupta, Raghav Raj Dhamieja and Himanshu Shukla. The event was largely attended by the intellectuals and media persons.
