Session on Literature Emerged During Pandemic at 6th GLFN

New Delhi: A powerful session took place during the second day of  6th Global Literary Festival Noida 2020 when writers expressed their desire of writing a lot during last six months of Pandemic related to Non Fiction Literature.

“I have noticed that every newspaper, every blog all over India and abroad is full of non-fiction material. This was the time when writers were stuck to their homes and were also surrounded by hue and cry of pandemic probably influenced by radio and television news and programs and definitely there was only one topic of discussion and that was pandemic. Information and education both have taken over fiction in last six months,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GLFN.

“The fact is the demand of Non Fiction suddenly immerged from the people. And every writer who wanted to be read by people changed their mode of writing. They were emphasising on the material which has more value during pandemic. Fiction took a back seat and writeups, articles, books on how to live better taken over the market,” said Ashok Arora author and lawyer.

This is a reality, I started talking and writing about motivational subjects, health, spirituality and much more on environment and humanity. The tone changed automatically. This was a big change in literature during pandemic,” said Tanmay Dubey author and Coach.

During the same session a book titled ‘Know Your Unique Self’ written by Jasbir Grover was released by the dignities. Jasbir talked about her book and extended heartiest thanks to Global Literary Festival for giving her an opportunity to be on the international platform.

‘I am amazed by the stature of festival designed by Asian Academy of Arts. GLFN is now inspiration for me to add on more to my work of art promotion. I have been lucky two times to be the Co-Festival Director of this global event. I wish GLFN a very big success,” said Dr. Mridula Tandon, President, Sakshi NGO.

“A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people, not because he has to prove someone but he has competition with his own self, to give better than before. I have been saying that it is very important to read, to write and to speak a good language if you want to be a part of mass communication business,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and 6th GLFN.

Well Known Hindi Writer Geeta Shree, Sudha Om Dhingra, Rashmi Sharma  Jayshree Roy and Vivek Mishra, Well Known English Poet & Author Lily Swarn,  Well Known Hindi Poet Rashmi Bhardwaj, Well known Hindi Poet and Editor Ashish Kandhvey and   Fiction Writer & Critic Rakesh Bihari were the recipient of Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Awards of Asian Academy of Arts

The awards were jointly presented to the awardees by Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts and Pratap Sehgal senior writer and well-known playwright during the event.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you, writer converts that fire into poetry, drama etc with the help of pen and paper. Good writing is remembering detail. Most people want to forget. Don’t forget things that were painful or embarrassing or silly. Turn them into a story that tells the truth. There is no rule on how to write. Sometimes it comes easily and perfectly: sometimes it’s like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges,” said Pratap Sehgal renowned senior writer.
Every awardee spoke about their journey to success. They also expressed their gratitude to Asian Academy of Arts for selecting them for this esteemed award.
The event was supported by AAFT University of Media And Arts , International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development  And Research Foundation. Festival Director Sushil Bharti conducted the program and also paid vote f thanks.

Urdu Mushaira at 6th Global Literary Festival Noida

New Delhi: “Urdu poetry took the final decisive position in 17th century when Mughals had established their dominion. It was thought by the legends of early India that Shairy should be recited in a gathering of minds with sufficient understanding of the language, so that they may enjoy, criticise, and ultimately appreciate what was recited. Mushaira is a poetic symposium,” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Global Festival introducing the format of one of the literary functions in India to the audience waiting for this cultural event online.

“6th Global Literary festival has given us bigger strength. When we can perform in Pandemic definitely we can do much better in the normal days. Global Literary festival has turned out to be the biggest event in last six months. Enjoy the Urdu poetry, Only the very weak-minded refuse to be influenced by literature and poetry. I have always realised that painting  is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen,” said Sandeep Marwah initiating the Urdu Mushaira.

Renowned national poets Urmila Madhav, Shakeel Jamali, Pankaj Abhiraj, Hina Rizvi Haider, Rizwana Iqra and Abhiskek Ambar recited the poetry and created a wonderful environment of love and compassion through their powerful poetry. The poets also entertained the demands of  audience.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented every poet a participation certificate of 6th GLFN. The event was supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT University of Media And Arts. The Program was conducted by Sushil Bharti of Asian Academy of Arts.
