Indo UK Art and Cultural Forum Congratulated Prime Minister

London: I myself and on behalf of Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum extend our heartiest congratulations to Rtn Hon Mary Elizabeth Truss on her being appointed as the Prime Minister of United Kingdom. We wish her a wonderful and powerful tenure as Prime Minister,’ said Dr Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and Chair Indo UK Art and Cultural Forum.

Elizabeth Truss was appointed Prime Minister on 6 September 2022. She was previously Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs from 15 September 2021. She was appointed Minister for Women and Equalities on 10 September 2019. She was elected as the Conservative MP for south west Norfolk in 2010.

Elizabeth studied philosophy, politics and economics at Merton College, Oxford. Elizabeth entered Parliament in 2010. She was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Education and Childcare in September 2012. Elizabeth served as the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from July 2014 until July 2016.

Elizabeth was Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice from July 2016 until June 2017. She was Chief Secretary to the Treasury from June 2017 until July 2019. Elizabeth was previously Deputy Director at Reform. She also worked in the energy and telecommunications industry for 10 years as a commercial manager and economics director, and is a qualified management accountant.

ICMEI Conducted Festival of Films from Venezuela at AAFT

Festival of Films From Venezuela at Marwah Studios

Noida: Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI in association with Embassy of Venezuela in India organize two-day Festival of Short Films from Venezuela. Fifteen short films participated in the festival from Venezuela which was inaugurated by H.E. Coromoto Godoy Calderon Ambassador of Venezuela to India at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum was created way back in 2016 and since then we are trying our best to develop and promote relations between two countries through art and culture. We have always believed that soft power today is the biggest bridge between the two countries and is used to break the ice. This time we have brought the festival of short films from Venezuela, and we have ready smart audience for these kinds of films,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo Venezuela Film ad Cultural Forum.

This is for the first time we have brought short films from Venezuela to India, I am thankful to Marwah Studios, ICMEI and Sandeep Marwah for their cooperation. We will also participate with full length feature film in forth coming Global Film Festival Noida 2022.We may be producing small number of films but our films are seen all over the World. Like India we also believe in family culture. Our association with Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum is getting stronger day by day,” said H.E. Coromoto Godoy Calderon Ambassador of Venezuela to India.

Let us give more emphasis to new thinking which must be reflected in short films by young Indian film makers. You need nor to be filthy rich to produce and direct short films. It is an idea which plays most important role in short films,” added Deepak Singhal former Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh.

Culture diplomacy has always been rated as the best policy in ministry of external affairs to build up the great relations between two countries. We need to develop stronger relations with countries in Latin America specially Venezuela. I congratulate Dr Sandeep Marwah for working even much more than ICCR- Indian Centre for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs Government of India as far as cultural events are concerned,” expressed Suresh K Goel former Secretary Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

I am happy to be here on this powerful event and support making of short films. This is the best way to start your career,” explained Ashok Dhingra Film maker from Mumbai.

Fifteen films were screened at Marwah Studios and students from Asian Academy of Film and Television & Asian School of Media Studies participated in the show. Alfredo Caldera Cultural Counsellor of Embassy of Venezuela and Mrs A. Caldera a Ballet Dancer from Caracas was also present on the occasion.

Shagun Singhal also spoke about short films. Later Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT to all the dignities.

Sandeep Marwah Patron to Weaving Synergies Women’s Organization

Women’s empowerment equips and allows women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to this Women’s organization- Weaving Synergies while lighting the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the first meeting of working women at Connaught Place.

“A very powerful word Atmanirbhar must be brought to use now by every women. You have to be Ambitious, Techno Savvy, Self-Motivated, Better Attitude, Nationalist, Well versed with Information, Get into Research, Believe in Yourself, Practice Humanity, must be All Rounder and every efforts should be Result Oriented,” added Dr Marwah.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented mementos to few of the ladies who all have done well in last years in their respective fields. Marwah also invited ladies to be part of  Radio Noida 107.4Fm and MSTV to express & highlight their achievements.

Harpreet Kaur President Weaving Energies extended her gratitude and special thanks to Sandeep Marwah for motivating thirty members of the organization. She also presented an award to Marwah for his untiring contribution to social causes.

Film Federation of India Executive Body Meet at Chennai

Chennai: The meeting of Executive Council of FFI- Film Federation of India, the mother body of Cinema in India, was held at The Park Hotel at Chennai where all members were invited to participate in the proceedings of the federation,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Society of Film and Television and Executive member of FFI.

Film Federation was created  way back in 1951 to promote commerce in general and in particular to promote, protect and watch over the interests of the Indian Film Industry and allied industries and trades, including the interests of producers, distributors and-exhibitors of films and of all other persons connected with the film industry, to regulate their method or doing business, to establish just and equitable principles in the film industry to maintain uniformity in rules, regulations and usages of the film industry.

The meeting was Chaired by T.P.Agarwal President of FFI. The body consists of following office bearers including S. Thanu Vice President, C Kalyan Vice President, Nitin N Datar Vice President, N.M. Suresh Vice President, Bajrang Lal Agarwal Vice President, Sakshi Mehra Vice President, S. S. New Delhi: The educational sector is the most promising and growing industry in the Indian market. The Indian education sector is the biggest and fast-growing business model. However, running an educational institution is a task and has been a challenge in itself. Additionally, the sector which was considered largely to be charitable trust has now turned into an industry. Moreover, starting a new venture in this sector can be a profitable one if a systematic procedure is followed,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah President of CEGR-Centre for Education Growth  and Research addressing the members of International Film and Television Research Centre at Noida Film City.

Moreover, education is a subject matter of both central and state governments. Additionally, being in the concurrent list of the 7th Schedule both centre and state government can make rules and policies governing this sector added Dr Marwah.

Similarly, primary education in India is regulated by the board a school is affiliated to, like the Central Board of Secondary Education, Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, or any of the state boards.

On the other hand,  the higher education is regulated by the University Grant Commission, All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India and Bar Council of India informed Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been part of the All India Board of Applied Arts, Crafts and Design All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education Government of India. He is also the National Chairman of Media and Entertainment Committee of Bureau of Indian Standard with Ministry of Consumer Affairs Government of India.

“We are happy to receive Swara Bhaskar at AAFT campus. The visit was long due. She is not only a perfect actor but also a wonderful human being. Her presence has added a lot to the acting course and school of Cinema. Her vast experience and deep knowledge of acting can be seen in her master class with School of Cinema,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

Swara Bhaskar is known for her super performance in films like Tanu Weds Manu, Chillar Party, Aurangzeb, Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Veere De Wedding, The Story, Nil Battey Sannata, Anaarkali of Aarah and TV serials like Samvidhan, Rangoli, Rasbhari, Bhaag Beanie Bhaag and many more. She is also the recipient of many national and international awards.

The Master Class was followed by large number of question answers by the cinema students. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented memento and life Membership of International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television to Swara Bhaskar.

Noida: Asian Law College inaugurated its week long Orientation Programme 2022 for the new batch at its new campus at Noida.  “The Asian Law College working under the aegis of Asian Education Group is determined to provide legal education to its students wherein the learning is not only enlightening but also enriching and inspiring. Justice L. Nageshwr Rao  addressed the students and enlighten them about legal education by sharing his deep thoughts and vast experience. The honored  Justice  congratulated the students for embarking on their journey of education in the field of law. He brought many points on the table as how the students should pursue the legal education so that they achieve heights.
