Noida: Digital media has revolutionized the way people consume information and interact with the world. With the advent of social media platforms, news websites, and other online resources, digital media has become an integral part of people’s daily lives. However, its influence on people’s opinions and daily lives is a subject of much debate,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President Marwah Studios in a seminar titled How does Digital Media influence the opinion of people and their daily life, during 11th Global Festival of Journalism Noida.

Digital media has the power to shape people’s opinions and beliefs through the content that they consume. Social media algorithms and news feeds are designed to provide users with content that matches their interests and preferences, which can create echo chambers that reinforce existing beliefs and opinions said Vipin Gaur Secretary  NAI-News Paper Association of India.

Moreover, digital media can have a profound impact on people’s daily lives, from the way they communicate with others to the way they consume entertainment and news. It has also changed the way businesses operate and market their products and services added Priyank Dubey well-known film maker.

“However, the influence of digital media is not always positive. The spread of misinformation and fake news can lead to harmful beliefs and actions, and the constant stimulation of social media can contribute to mental health issues such as Overall, while digital media has the power to shape people’s opinions and daily lives, it is important for individuals to approach it critically and to seek out diverse sources of information to avoid falling into echo chambers and misinformation,” condensed Dr. Ajay Kumar Executive Director AAFT Group of Education.

A new bulletin designed by the students of AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism was released from the stage. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Presented festival memento to all the dignitaries and  honoured with life membership of International Journalism Centre. The event was supported by International Film and Television Research Centre,  Asian Unity Alliance, Prithvi Yoga Centre, and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Street Play on Social Issues by AAFT Cinema Appreciated by One and All

Street Play by AAFT Cinema Students was a Big Hit During Global Festival

Noida: The AAFT School of Cinema organized a street play on social issues during all the three days of 11th Global Festival of Journalism at Marwah Studios, that received appreciation from all who witnessed it. The play was a collaborative effort by the students, who wrote, directed, and performed the play themselves.

The play addressed a range of social issues, such as gender inequality, domestic violence, and environmental degradation, using humor, and drama to drive home important messages. It was an engaging and thought-provoking performance that left a lasting impact on the audience.

“The street play also highlighted the power of art and performance in bringing about social change. Through their play, the students were able to raise awareness about important social issues and inspire the audience to take action,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

The event was a great success, with the students receiving praise for their excellent performance and impactful message. It was a testament to the talent and dedication of the AAFT School of Cinema students, who used their creativity and passion for cinema to make a difference in society.

Overall, the street play was an excellent initiative by the AAFT School of Cinema, and a great example of how art and performance can be used to promote social change and create awareness about important issues.

Furniture Exhibition by The Students of AAFT School of Interior Design

Noida: The AAFT School of Interior Design hosted a stunning furniture exhibition during the 11th Global Festival of Journalism. The exhibition was a showcase of the talents and creativity of the school’s interior design students, who presented their innovative and unique furniture designs.

The exhibition was a visual treat for visitors, featuring a range of contemporary and traditional furniture designs made from sustainable and eco-friendly materials. The exhibition provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their skills and knowledge, as well as to gain feedback and insights from industry professionals and visitors,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The event also highlighted the growing importance of sustainable design in the furniture industry, and the need to incorporate sustainable practices into design education. “The students’ designs demonstrated the potential for creating beautiful, functional furniture that is also environmentally responsible,” expressed

Noida: “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an Indian statesman and one of the leaders of the Indian independence movement. He was India’s first deputy prime minister and played a key role in the integration of India’s princely states into a united, independent nation after India’s partition in 1947 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the House on the launching of his poster during 11th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s works were focused on the unification of India’s princely states and building a strong, unified nation. He played a key role in integrating more than 500 princely states into the newly independent India. He was also instrumental in establishing the Indian Administrative Service and the All India Radio.

The poster was launched by Lord Rami Ranger, Member of House of Lords, United Kingdom, HE Ashraf Shikhaliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India, and HE Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina along with Ramnath Rajesh, Sr. Journalist,  Prem Bhardwaj, “Gyanbhiksu”, Renowned Author, Avinash Raj, CEO, Mitwa TV,  Kumar Mohan, Renowned Film Journalist, Saeed Ansari, Editor & Anchor, Aaj Tak,  Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida and MSTV in the presence of  large number of media and social personalities who all were present on the occasion.

Biography on Sandeep Marwah Released During 11th Global Festival of Journalism

Noida: Sandeep Marwah is a renowned Indian film producer, director, and media personality. He is the founder of the Noida Film City, the fastest growing film and television production center, and the Marwah Studios, a leading creative house in India.

Marwah began his career as a theatre artist and went on to produce  over ,3500 short films. He has been associated with several feature films and television programs. He is the recipient of numerous national and international awards for his contribution to the film industry.

Apart from his work in the entertainment industry, Marwah is also actively involved in social causes and has been appointed as the Global Cultural Ambassador by many different nations. He has also been recognized for his contribution to the field of education and was conferred with the honorary doctorate by several universities.

Marwah’s life and achievements have been documented in various biographical works, including the recently released biography titled “Sandeep Marwah: Ek Prerna,” which provides an in-depth insight into his journey in the film industry and his contribution to society written by Mamta Soni.

Noida: Media is vital for spreading information, shaping public opinion, and providing a platform for diverse voices and perspectives. Television is the important segment of the same. Television has come a long way since its inception, and the new millennium has brought about significant changes to the medium. Today we are here to discuss television in this round table,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President Marwah Studios in the opening session of the discussion.

“ The transition from analog to digital broadcasting has completely changed the way television is transmitted and received. Digital signals provide better picture and sound quality, as well as increased channel capacity and interactivity,” said Lord Rami Ranger of House of Lords, British Parliament, while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“The rise of streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime has revolutionized the way people consume television. Streaming services offer a wide variety of content, including original programming, and allow viewers to watch shows on their own schedule,” said H.E. Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India.

“The introduction of smart TVs has transformed the viewing experience by combining the traditional TV with internet connectivity, allowing viewers to access streaming services, browse the web, and even control their smart homes from their TV screens,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India.

The new millennium saw the rise of reality television, with shows like Survivor and Big Brother becoming popular worldwide. This genre has since evolved to include a wide range of formats, from dating shows to talent competitions,” expressed Avinash Raj, CEO, Mitwa TV.

“Social media has had a profound impact on television, providing viewers with a platform to share their opinions and engage with their favourite shows and stars. Networks and producers have also embraced social media as a way to promote their shows and interact with their audiences,” narrated Ramnath Rajesh, senior journalist.

“ The advent of high-definition television has brought about a significant improvement in picture quality, with many networks and streaming services now offering content in 4K resolution.,“  extended Kumar Mohan, renowned film journalist from Mumbai.

“The availability of entire seasons of shows on streaming services has led to the phenomenon of binge-watching, where viewers watch multiple episodes or even entire seasons in one sitting,” spoke Prem Bhardwaj, Gyanbhiksu, renowned author.

“The ability to record shows and watch them later has become commonplace, with digital video recorders and on-demand services allowing viewers to watch shows at their convenience,” condensed Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida. Electrifying Performance by D J Narain at 11th Global Festival of Journalism

Music is the language of the spirit,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre introducing Star Singer D. J. Narain on the closing function of first day of 11th Global Festival of Journalism at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

The audience was totally charged with energy and eager to move with the music of the popular singer on stage D.J. Narain who impressed the people with his new compositions in rock music.

D J Narain is a music composer, performer, rock band singer, theatre director , publisher, academician, and sports  management expert. Dharmendra Jai Narain is perhaps the only bureaucrat in India to have actually been a real life rock star as one of the lead singers of one of India most loved Pop Rock Group of 90s and the first decade of this century. Aryans with musical hits like Ankhon Main Tera Hi Chehra, Yeh Hawa Kehta Hai Kya, Dekha Teri Ankhon Ko, Hai Dil, and Kehta Hai Dil Yahi Bar Bar etc he has more than 3.4 Crores hits on his songs on you tube.

Having performed in more than 800 concerts including mega ones like National Games, Cine Awards, MTV, Channel V. Narain has published more than 60 songs till now and worked with all the music companies of the nation. The event was attended by many senior and young journalist from all over India and abroad.
