Sixth Year Celebration of ICMEI at 13th Global Film Festival Noida 2020

6th Year Celebration of ICMEI

New Delhi: The sixth year of ICMEI International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry was celebrated with great pomp and show during the  13^th Global Film Festival Noida 2020 with dignities from all over the World.

“ICMEI was planned way back in 2014 to support the vision of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to have best of the relations possible with each and every country of the World through art and culture. This is the first of its kind in the World where Chamber is solely dedicated to films, television, media, art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder President of ICMEI on the completion of 6^th year of its international operations.

ICMEI has created by now 190 International Committees related to each and every country of the World. Out of these ICMEI has interacted and reached to 145 countries and 60 forums have been launched so far in six years.

ICMEI has been associated with more than thousand events related to Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, Environment, Skill Development, Hospitality, Tourism, Animation, Journalism, Fashion, Design, Advertising, Music, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Business, Law etc. in the forms of workshops, seminars, symposiums, interactions, Talks, Exhibitions, Music and Dance Recitals, Global Summits, Conventions, Festivals, Lunch and Dinner meets, Presentations, Road Shows, with National and International Governments and private stakeholders.

CMEI is now associated with large number of International, National, Private and Government Organizations to bridge the gap between the industry to Government and Industry to Industry. It has been rated as one of the most successful Chamber of Commerce in recent times.

International Animation Day Celebrated at AAFT

New Delhi: AAFT School of Animation celebrated International Animation Day on web with the faculty and students of the institution. International Animation Day was first celebrated on Oct 28th, 2002 in honor of Emile Reynaud’s first performance of Theatre Optique.

“Every day we witness the importance and beauty of animation in a variety of media. It spreads in commercial theatres – featuring 3D animation and special effects, on TV, publicity, music industry, cross media, internet, but, and most specially, it develops and grows as an art form, through shorts, multimedia and feature films, created by independent authors, artists, students, and children from all over the world,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts while inaugurating the exhibition.

“Animation includes an impressive range of approaches, techniques and goals. Created by drawing, painting, animating puppets and objects, using clay, sand, paper and computer, working with multiple narratives and non-narratives, reflecting a diversity of themes and performances, presented on a variety of platforms. All of this confirms that ANIMATION is an extraordinary and powerful medium of art, cultural expression and communication. And, as a visual storytelling medium, animation can communicate across cultures without verbal language. It truly is a means for cultural connection,” added Dr. Marwah.

Later Dr. Marwah went through the exhibition of animated pictures, posters, games, short films prepared by the students of School of Animation and congratulated faculty for their sincere contribution.

AAFT Propagated About National Voters Day

National Voters Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida:In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day" It has been started from January 25, 2011 to mark Commission's foundation day.

Observing that new voters, who have attained the age of 18 years, were showing less interest in getting enrolled in the electoral rolls, a National Voters Day was celebrated at Marwah Studios.

“it is important to motivate young students to get themselves enrolled in voters list and then encourage them to use their right to vote, we have decided to celebrate Voters Day at AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group a family of 15000 media professionals.

Speaking on the occasion the Commissioner of Scouts & Guides Rak K. P. Sinha mentioned that, “We also need people like Sandeep Marwah to propagate this subject of Voters Day through media. 14 lakhs cadets- part of Scouts and Guides, spreading all over India, need to be added soon in the voters list.”

A poster was launched to mark respect to National Voters Day at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida in the presence of large media students of Asian Academy of Film And Television.
