Association For Asian Union Plans New Summit on Peace & Tourism

Summit on Tourism Planned by AAU


New Delhi: The management committee of Association For Asian Union And Asia Pacific Cooperation has its powerful meeting at India International Centre recently where some concrete decisions were made as how to promote the activities of the organization under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal.

“We are now quite an old organization to understand the meaning of Asian Union and to spread the word of Asian Union with large number of members all over the Asian countries,” said Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal.

“This time we have decided to plan an international summit on Tourism. The purpose of the summit is to bring Asian Unity Through Tourism. We will be inviting speakers from different countries, embassies and diplomats, United Nations, IFUNA, Tourism Industry, Educational institutions, Members and people from all walks of life,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAU & APC.

The date and time of the summit shall be decided in due course of time and will be intimated accordingly.

Sandeep Marwah Honored For Tourism Promotion


New Delhi: A full day food festival and seminar on the serious issues on tourism were designed by a group of organizations including Magika, ICMEI, NFTC, AAFT and many Indian and foreign Embassies in New Delhi.

The discussions and talks were followed by the award function and the organizers honored all those who have contributed to tourism. The most prestigious Tourism Promotion Award went to Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios for his untiring contribution to Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

Sandeep Marwah has created a word Film Tourism 25 years back and now it is the most important tourism in the World. His contribution as Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited is par excellence.

His school AAFT has attracted two million people to Noida Film City and Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism through their degree and skill development program educating young talent cautiously for this industry.

“I am thrilled to accept my award for tourism. There is a very thin line between tourism and cinema. We have removed that line for the promotion of both the industry,” said Sandeep Marwah accepting the award.

The award was handed over in a impressive function at Hotel Pullman at Aero city in the presence of many High Commissioners & Ambassadors and  giants from the industry.

ICMEI Announced Study Tour to Malaysia

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AITH- Asian Institute of Tourism And Hospitality announced a study tour to Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia for the members of ICMEI.

“A study tour of 30 people comprising of professional media persons and media students has been planned for four days at the most reasonable price so that maximum people can take the benefit of this gesture extended by   NAI- News Paper Association of India,” said Vipin Gaur Secretary General of NAI.

On this occasion Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI, Pankaj K Singh IRS Commissioner Taxes Noida, Gurang from Tourism Industry and Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI launched the poster at Marwah Studios.

We are trying to promote our relations with Malaysia under Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum. I am sure this tour will bring some new results in our friendship,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Visited Ras Al Khaimah in UAE

Ras Al Khaimah: Ras al Khaimah is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The city has two main sections, Old Ras Al Khaimah and Nakheel, on either side of a creek.

“Ras al-Khaimah is becoming a new destination on tourist maps. Ras al-Khaimah is home to some of the best chains in five star hotels and beach resorts,”said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism talking to press at Hotel Woldoff Astoria.

 Ras al- Khaimah has a number of 4 and 3 star accommodations. Lately first water park Ice Land was opened to offer leisure opportunity for both residents and visitors and more new tourism projects are under construction. NFTC- National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited will prepare a report on this upcoming city.

The UAE culture mainly revolves around the religion of Islam and traditional Arab culture. The influence of Islamic and Arab culture on its architecture, music, attire, cuisine and lifestyle are very prominent as well.

Paris: “It is amazing how European countries whole heartedly work for the growth of tourism especially Paris. It is emerging as one of the most supportive industry in the World for the growth of any country,” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of NFTC-National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited talking to press at Hotel Park Hyatt Vendome Place at Paris.

Greater Paris received 36.5 million visitors in 2016, measured by hotel stays. The largest numbers of foreign tourists in 2015, measured by airport arrivals, came from the United States (1.8 million), the UK (1.08 million), Germany (725,000), Italy (622,000), and Spain (609,000)

The city's top tourist attraction was the Notre Dame Cathedral, which welcomed 12million visitors in 2016 The Louvre museum had 7.3 million visitors in 2016, making it the second most visited art museum in the world.

As of 2013 the City of Paris had 1,570 hotels with 70,034 rooms, of which 55 were rated five-star, mostly belonging to international chains and mostly located close to the centre and the Champs-Élysées. Paris has long been famous for its grand hotels.
