Seminar on Opportunities in Creative Arts at AAFT


Noida: An interesting seminar on opportunities in creative arts was designed by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with WASME- World Association of Small And Medium Enterprises at Marwah Studios for professionals and creative students of AAFT.

“India is a large country and you have so many creative arts. Every art needs to be protected. There is an unbelievable scope for Indians to get involve with government and private jobs and small and medium enterprises. Little unique idea can be successful in this country. India and Egypt are working very closely when it comes to art ad culture,” said Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada Cultural Counselor at Embassy of Republic of Egypt.

“We are now almost associated with 6000 events of all genre in films, television, media, fine arts, creative arts, performing arts to generate employment in the country. We are supporting the industry through our Radio Station, Television Station and Event Management Company etc. The industry needs people with great enthusiasm and zest,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and AAFT University.

Vikas Nangia of TV Asia USA, Jaguriti Dress Designer, Lavlin Thadani AAFT Alumni & Film Maker, Raj K.P.Singh of Scouts and Guides Organization, Bharat Gaba of Shoobh also spoke on the occasion. Sanjeev Layek Executive Secretary WASME paid vote of thanks to all the speakers.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI honored the dignities with the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation of AAFT.

New Art Gallery In Town Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah


Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Krantz Art Gallery in Gurugram


Gurugram: “Art has no religion neither cast, people who love art are always spiritually high. When ever there is an offer to be close to art I grab the opportunity. I have been propagating   love, peace and unity through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the new art gallery in Sushant Lok in Gurugram under the name of Krantz. 

Sandeep Marwah also inaugurated the first exhibition of the gallery dedicated to British Master Painter Thomas Gainsborough. The exhibition showcased the art works of Akhil Esh, Hem Raj, Archana Sen Gupta, Bahija Abdouelali from Morocco, Debjani Dey, Liliana Cortina from Cuba, Livet Pena Echemendiadia from Cuba, Nidhi Jain, Purnima Arora, Christina, Raghu Neware, Rajesh Baderia, Sailendra Goswami, Saanya Dahawn, Sansita Gogai and Shalini Tyagi.

“Our goal is to bring great international regional artists to you and to promote, nurture and support our artists in their work,” said Iqbal Krishan founder and director of Krantz Art Gallery.

The art works of  Shridhar Iyer, Jyotsna Sharma, Onkar Singh, Swapan Roy, Adriana Ruth Thevenin from Mexico, Veena Khanna, Vijender Sharma and Mona Kapoor are also displayed in the exhibition. The inauguration was attended by     many art lovers from all over Delhi and Gurugram.

Raj Kapoor Will be Remembered For All Time -Sandeep Marwah


Sandeep Marwah Honored at Raj Kapoor Memorial Musical Night


New Delhi: A musical evening was organized by Malhaar Sangeet Kala Kendra and Raj Kapoor Legend Group under the leadership of Rameshwar Kumar  in the memory of Late Raj Kapoor a great film maker of Indian Film Industry to mark respect on his death anniversary at Lajpat Bhawan.

“I knew Raj Sahib from 1982 to 1988, in all these years I learned two things from him and his way of working: one that love your work so much that people will start loving you automatically and second what ever you do that it should be with total devotion and you should be deeply into it,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios addressing and recollecting his interactions with Raj Sahib in the capacity of Chief Guest.

Many singers from all over India presented the show and sang numbers from the feature films of Raj Kapoor. The audience was overwhelmed with the old numbers and perfect live music by DoReme Band.

Raj Kapoor is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors and filmmakers in the history of cinema and known as "the greatest showman of Hindi cinema". He received multiple accolades, including 3 National Film Awards and 11 Filmfare Awards in India. The Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award is named after Raj Kapoor. He was a two-time nominee for the Palme d'Or grand prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his films Awaara (1951) and Boot Polish (1954).

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Dance Recital at Habitat Centre


New Delhi: “Cultural programs are the most binding factor of the society when people tend to forget their cast, creed, religion, color, region and become spiritually high during any musical or dance recitals or any other art and craft performances,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts at the inauguration of dance recital by Dr. Jyoti Srivastava and troop at Habitat Center.

Jyoti Srivastava and her group gave their electrifying performances   in beautiful carved stories. The renowned dancer is Odissi dance exponent  and has performed in many states of India and abroad.

 Dr. Jyoti has cultivated a life long devotion to Classical Indian Dance since her first performance at the very early age of four. She has studied under some of the most revered Gurus- Valmiki Banerjee, Durga Charan Ranbir and Srinath Raut. She also studied Mohiniattam, Manipuri and various folk dance forms. She earned an M. Phil in classical music, which gave her a more in-depth understanding of dance. She is also an avid Yoga practitioner.

Noida: A grand    handicraft mela recently brought a beautiful creative wave in the city of Noida when 300 artists from all over India reached Noida to participate in this Shilpmahautsav at Noida grounds.

“We all have to be ready with extra skills be it a mechanical or creative. That should be the part of education at the school itself. The extra circular activities promote creativity and make education interesting,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of Children’s section of Shilpmahautsav at Noida.

“I must congratulate each ad every student present here to be part of this grand celebration at Noida which has been personally attended by many central and state minister to encourage artists of performing arts, fine arts and handicrafts,” added Marwah speaking to hundreds of students from different schools from all over Delhi and Noida.

AAFT Join Hands With Rock School of UK


Noida: “Music is a moral law, It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and every thing. Music is the life, learning music is to satisfy your ego,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group while talking to the delegation from United Kingdom.

This delegation was representing Rock School of UK to join hands with AAFT School of Performing Arts. We are impressed by the syllabus, never ever heard of such a powerful Curriculum of a music school,” said Dan Phleps  Operational Manager International of Rock School.

“We are ready to join hands with Rock School so that we can maintain the standard of the education to the highest level,” added Sandeep Marwah of AEG.

Ritesh Khokhar India Country Manager and Arup Gohain Area Manager were part of the delegation.
