New Delhi, 11th October 2025 — A grand evening titled “Champions of Style: Celebrating Italy and India Collaboration in Sport and Fashion” was hosted at the residence of H.E. Antonio Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to India, bringing together distinguished personalities from diplomacy, art, fashion, and sports.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo–Italian Film and Cultural Forum, graced the occasion as a special guest. While talking to the press, Dr. Marwah highlighted the deep and growing relationship between India and Italy in the fields of cinema, fashion, and culture.

“Two groups from Marwah Studios have already visited Italy, engaging in creative and academic exchanges that have strengthened our collaboration. We are proud to have Mr. Stefano Ricci on the board of the AAFT School of Fashion and Design. My multiple visits to Italy have further deepened this bond, paving the way for greater cultural understanding and partnership,” said Dr. Marwah.

The event witnessed the presence of several Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats, and eminent personalities from various walks of life, all gathered to celebrate the synergy between Italian elegance and Indian creativity.

The evening underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in bridging nations through shared values of style, innovation, and artistry—reflecting the enduring friendship between Italy and India.

ICMEI India and Italy will Work Towards Promotion of Arts and Culture

Capri, Italy – Renowned film, TV, and media personality Sandeep Marwah addressed the press at Hotel Capri Palace Jumeirah during his visit to Capri and Ana Capri in the district of Naples, located in the south of Italy. Marwah, the founder of the Indo Italian Film and Cultural Forum, emphasized the importance of highlighting and strengthening the relations between the two countries through collaborative efforts in the field of art and culture.

Marwah praised the Indo Italian Film and Cultural Forum for its outstanding work in promoting cultural exchanges between India and Italy. Noida: “One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than 50 preaching it. The five S’s of sports training are: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit. An athlete cannot run with money in his pockets. He must run with hope in his heart and dreams in his head,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Business School while introducing the renowned sports person from Italy Paolo Venturini at Asian Business School for a workshop on Sports Management.

“The hardest skill to acquire in this sport is the one where you compete all out, give it all you have, and you are still getting beat no matter what you do. When you have the killer instinct to fight through that, it is very special,” express Paolo Venturini sharing his vast experience in running around the World.

Paolo Venturini was born in Padua on March 13th of 1968. Since he was a child, he had always been fond of sports, especially football and athletics. It is running, though, that brings him participating in his first competition at the tender age of 7. He takes part in his first marathon at the age of 23 and in ultra-marathon in 2004, running all middle distances. Nowadays Paolo lives nearby the Colli Euganei regional park, a stunning open-air gym where he trains every day.

Paolo develops a particular interest for the world of Mountain Bike, which is a relevant part of his athletic career. All his bike adventures have been carried out alone, without technical assistance, representing this way world premieres. Paolo’s career stands out for the extraordinary character of his challenges that, in addition to being off the charts, contribute to sport medicine research, in both the fields of running and cycling.

Later Sandeep Marwah Presented Paolo Venturini with life membership of International Business and Management Research Centre. The event was supported by Indo Italy Film and Cultural Forum & International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

ICMEI Congratulated Embassy of Italy in India on Republic Day

The visits of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chair for Indo Italian Film And Cultural Forum to Rome, Florence and Milan has added strength to Indo Italian Relations. Association with fashion Industry especially with Stefano Ricci created a wonderful buzz here in India followed by tie up with renowned designer Angelo Garini added more colours to theindo Italian Relations .

IAFCF has also promoted Yoga in Italy in association with yoga leaders Emy Blesio also known as Gayatri Devi from Suryanagar Centre Milan and  Mahamandleshwar Swami Shivanand Saraswati of Surya Chandra Yoga Ashram Rome.Their visits to Marwah Studios & ICMEI were very well received.

Noida: “Ambassador of Italian beauty in the world, he collaborates at events and summits in which he promotes the artistic, cultural and natural wealth of Italy. Angelo deals with events with an attentive eye to the history of art and Italian style, with a design-type approach, where flowers, fabrics and lights are important elements of a show that stages marriage as a great representation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios introducing Angelo Garini. 

“For over two years he started with building relationships with India with the main objective- to propose to the Indians, who are discovering Italy as a top wedding destination,” added Madhavi Advani the India representative of Angelo Garini. 

Angelo is the author of two books, publisher of a specialized magazine, television presenter, television writer, journalist and collaborator with newspapers. He is a lecturer at universities and academies in various parts of Italy, Europe and in India.

“My job is none other than the concrete expression of what I have always breathed and loved:  A passion for design, art, collecting and antiques.” says the Italian-born and -bred Garini, who has planned parties and weddings around the world for public figures such as Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York; Naomi Campbell, and David Guetta. “My grandfather was a great architect in the 1900’s, so I inherited his passion for design.”

Later Dr. Marwah honored Angelo with the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation of AAFT University.

Milan: The Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperation of India Limited Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited the city of Milan in Italy to look into the fashion business.

Milan is considered a leading alpha global city, with strengths in the field of the art, commerce, design, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, services, research and tourism.

“I am surprised to see the fashion flowing from every lane of Milan. It has largest number of outlets of well known designers from all over the World. The visit to Milan has enhanced my knowledge on fashion,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios while expressing to the press at Hotel Armani, Milan.

Milan is also regarded as one of the fashion capitals of the world, along with New York City, Paris, and London. Milan is synonymous with the Italian prêt-à-porter industry, as many of the most famous Italian fashion brands, such as Valentino, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, are headquartered in the city.

Numerous international fashion labels also operate shops in Milan. Furthermore, the city hosts the Milan Fashion Week twice a year, one of the most important events in the international fashion system.

ICMEI Greets Italian Embassy on National Day


New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah extended its heartiest congratulations to the Ambassador of Italy to India H.E. Lorenzo Angeloni on the occasion of National Day on 17th March.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Italian Republic were established in 1947. Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru visited Italy in 1953. President Oscar Luigi Scalfaro was the first Italian head of state to visit India in February 1995. President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi visited India in February 2005,” informed H.E. Lorenzo Angeloni while talking to the large number of guest invited for the celebration of National Day at Embassy compound.

Ajay Tamta Union Minister for state for Textile, Government of India was the chief guest on the occasion. The event started with National Anthem of both the countries and followed by Italian classical music by a Musical group from Italy.

Noida: A powerful workshop by the renowned Italian designer Angela Garini was held at ASMS School of Fashion And Design at Noida.

“We are lucky to have with us a well known architect, dress designer, film maker and Wedding consultant Angelo Garini from Milan, Italy to talk to the students of design and sharing his vast experience of the industry,” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“Design is now a parallel line in our day to day business. Be it is a room interior or dresses, a house design or a new car, your greeting cards or a marriage function everything needs designing, added Marwah initiating the subject of
work shop by Italian Designer Angelo Garini at ASMS.

“We are working on the scope of designing in all sort of events in India and might need Angelo Garini soon in Delhi, Noida and Gurugoan for different kind of involvements,” said Madhavi Advani a social worker and consultant to Taj Vivanta.

Angelo Garini is an Architect, wedding, event and interior designer, publisher, consultant and has mastered on Italian kind of projects for all over the World.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored Angelo with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT and Life Membership of International Women Film Forum to Madhavi Advani.

Ritulal Director School of Fashion and Design paid vote of thanks. The event was supported by Indo Italian Film And Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.
