Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) celebrated the Independence Day of Brazil with great respect and admiration at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, on 7th September.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, also Chair for the Indo-Brazil Film and Cultural Forum, extended his heartiest congratulations to H.E. Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India, and to the people of Brazil on this historic occasion.

“Brazil and India share wonderful relations which can be further enhanced through the power of art, culture, media, and other soft power initiatives. Brazil has been our partner in every major event designed by ICMEI, and we have left no stone unturned to highlight and strengthen our relations over the years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

National Day of Brazil Celebrated with Grandeur at Reception Hosted by Brazilian Ambassador in India

New Delhi:  A grand reception was held to celebrate the National Day of Brazil, hosted by H.E. Kenneth H. da Nóbrega, the Ambassador of Brazil to India, and his wife, Mrs. Ana Lucia M. da Nóbrega, at their official residence. The event marked a celebration of Brazilian culture, heritage, and the enduring diplomatic ties between Brazil and India. The evening was graced by prominent dignitaries, diplomats, and notable figures from various sectors.

The celebration was highlighted by the presence of Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, who attended as the chief guest. Minister Puri commended the strong relationship between India and Brazil and expressed optimism about furthering collaborations in various sectors, including trade, culture, and sustainable development.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo-Brazil Film and Cultural Forum, was also a prominent guest at the event. Brazilian and Peruvian Cuisines Highlighted at 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024

Noida, India – October 2024: The vibrant flavors of Brazil and Peru were at the forefront of the 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024, held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Marcos Sperandio, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Brazil, and Enrique Descalzi, Counsellor and Cultural Head at the Embassy of Peru. This cross-cultural celebration of food drew a large and enthusiastic audience of diplomats, dignitaries, and art lovers from across the globe.

The food display, meticulously prepared by the students of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, showcased the rich and diverse culinary traditions of both Brazil and Peru. Attendees were treated to an array of dishes that reflected the fusion of flavors and cultures from South America, earning widespread appreciation from the audience.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and founder of the Global Literary Festival, praised the initiative. “The Global Literary Festival is not only about literature but also a celebration of diverse global cultures. The inclusion of Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines is a testimony to the spirit of international cooperation and cultural exchange that we strive to foster at this festival,” Dr. Marwah said.

Mr. Enrique Descalzi, Counsellor and Cultural Head of the Embassy of Peru, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the importance of cultural diplomacy. “The rich culinary heritage of Peru reflects the country’s history and diversity. It is wonderful to see the appreciation of our culture here at the festival,” he added.

Supported by the Asian Academy of Arts, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and the Writers Association of India, the event was a vibrant celebration of global unity and cultural appreciation.

Celebration of Fifteen Years of BRICS Formation

Moscow: “I am so happy with the progress of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry as far as BRICS is concerned. We have been able to launch and highlight Indo- Brazil, Indo- Russia, Indo- China and Indo- South Africa Film and Cultural Forums to develop and promote the relation between the people of these countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI in a webinar to celebrate the fifteenth year of BRICS formation.

“Powerful committees on Brazil Russia, China and South Africa have covered large number of events related to films, television, media, art, culture and education. Our visit to Russia, China, South Africa has further strengthened the relations. Visit of dignities from these countries to international headquarters of ICMEI in India has given new blood to the organizations,” added Marwah giving details of colorful events.

Celebration of 15 Years of BRICS was possible with support of a webinar  titled “Moments of Truth  for BRICS” which was also attended by Roman Babushkin, Andrey Chetokin, Paniyiota Zachariadou, Aline Tedeschi, , Ashok Sajjanhar, Alexey Malinin and  Dr Prasanjeet kumar. Purnima Anand President BRICS International Forum proposed vote of thanks.

Indo Brazil Film And Cultural Forum had planned a series of program to develop and promote relation between people of Brazil and India. It also includes program on Radio Noida 107.4Fm on a continuous basis of Brazilian songs. The forum is now associated with Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 and forth coming Global Fashion Week Noida 2021 from 11th to 13th October informed Marwah who is also the Chair for Indo Brazil Film And Cultural Forum.

Fashion Show to Mark Respect to- Save The  Girl Child


New Delhi: Indo Brazil Film And Cultural Forum has been very well appreciated by the large number of diplomats and people from all strata of life when gathered at Embassy of Brazil for the social event organized to propagate Save The Girl Child.

A fashion Show by the Ambassadors and High Commissioners on the ramp was a very exclusive attempt by Geeti Bhagat and Mohan Bhagat of Earth Foundation, when H.E. Tovar De Silva Nunes Ambassador of Brazil to India and Mrs Guadalupe Romero Silva hosted the event at their residence.

The nominated brand Ambassador of Save The Girl Child- Sandeep Marwah ‘s presence enhance the event to next level. Sandeep Marwah was recently also nominated as the Chair of Indo Brazil Film And Cultural Forum by H.E. Tovar De Silva Nunes.

India And Brazil Will Work Together For Arts And Culture- ICMEI

Noida: The Federative Republic of Brazil and Republic of India through Embassy of Brazil and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry will work together for the promotions of Arts and culture to develop and promote relations between two countries.

“The visit of H.E. Tovar Da Silva Nunes Ambassador of Brazil to India to the international headquarters of ICMEI has brought new energy to the relation between two countries India and Brazil. We will soon give a formal shape to this relationship,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

“I am impressed by the activities of ICMEI, its better to be late than never. Soon we will start creative activities with ICMEI after formally launching Indio Brazil Film And Cultural Forum,” said H.E. Tovar Da Silva Nunes Ambassador of Brazil to India.

The meeting lasted for an hour. Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi and Press, Information & Cultural Secretary of Embassy Roberta Maria were also present in the meeting. Ambassador took the tour of AAFT institution; Marwah studios and the in-house television station MSTV also interviewed him.

Federative Republic of Brazil is the largest country in both South America and Latin America. Brazil is the world's fifth-largest country by area and the sixth most populous nation.
