Noida, India – October 2024: The vibrant flavors of Brazil and Peru were at the forefront of the 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024, held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Marcos Sperandio, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Brazil, and Enrique Descalzi, Counsellor and Cultural Head at the Embassy of Peru. The festival aims to underscore the significance of February 12th as the International Day of Journalism.

The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Javier Paulinich, Ambassador of Peru to India, at Marwah Studios, where he addressed a large audience and emphasized the deepening cultural ties between Peru and India.

7th Fashion and Design Week Noida 2023 Showcases Stunning Garments from Around the World

Noida, India – May 25, 2023 – The 7th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida mesmerized audiences with a grand display of creativity and cultural diversity during its second-day session. The event, held at Marwah Studios, not only showcased an exquisite range of garments but also featured a delightful food festival and a remarkable furniture exhibition.

The day commenced with a tantalizing food festival, where students from the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism delighted guests with a wide array of delectable cuisines. The flavors of Peru, Fiji, and Rwanda took center stage, offering a culinary journey through these vibrant countries.

Simultaneously, visitors explored two magnificent halls at Marwah Studios, adorned with a captivating furniture exhibition. Each furniture piece represented various countries and reflected the artistic brilliance and imaginative flair of the talented students.

Peru Film MATAINDIOS Appreciated at 14th Global Film Festival Noida


Peru Film Part of 14th Global Film Festival Inaugurated by Ambassador

Noida: One of the popular films- ‘Mataindios’ from the land of Peru was the special entry to the festival which was formally inaugurated by H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India on the first day of Festival with house full show.

“I on behalf of the 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 welcome the Peruvian Film to the festival and our heartiest thanks to the Ambassador for formally inaugurating the screening of the film,” said Sushil Bharti Co-Director of the festival.

The film is directed by Oscar Sanchez Saldana, written by Robert Julca Motta & Oscar Sanchez Saldana, Staring Nataly Aures, Glecerio Reynoso, Carlos Solano and others.

“The Peruvian cinema has grown bigger in last few years. Some of the best films have been produced and have done well commercially within the country itself. It is a great honor to be part of this international festival and talking about Peru culture through films,” said H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Presented Patronship & honoured H.E. Carlos polo Ambassador of Peru with Hindi Cinema Samman for promoting Hindi Cinema in his country.” We are connected to Peru now for a long time. Indo Peru Film and Cultural Forum has been involved in large number of activities to promote relation between India and Peru,” Dr. Sandeep Marwah thanked Fabio Subia Second Secretary and In charge Culture for taking special interest in the festival.

Indo Peru Musical Recital At Marwah Studios


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University and Embassy of Peru had a great musical evening at Marwah Studios.

It was a rare occasion of amalgamation of music by Rajasthani group by Gazi Khan Barna and Peruvian music group consisting of Chano Diaz Limaco, Kito Linares Bazalar and Tomás Diaz Limaco.

A two hours musical extravaganza not only impressed but mesmerized the audience. “I take this opportunity to thank H.E. Carlos Polo the Ambassador of Peru to India for bringing such a talented artist from Peru. The jugal bandi was too good to express through words,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented the Patron ship of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Carlos Polo.

”I am happy to be here which is also the birthplace of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum almost 11 years back. I appreciate the deep interest and dedication of the team of Marwah Studios. We promise to work together for the promotion of art and will create more awareness of Indo Peru Culture,” said H.E. Carlos Polo.

Ambassador presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Marwah for his untiring contribution to Indo Peru art promotion. Later the whole team was presented with the life membership of   Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Director AAFT School of Performing Arts Dr. Manoj Agarwak, Director Radio Noida Sushil Bharti, Minister Embassy of Peru Mercedes Gill , Cultural Encharge, Head of the Consular Section and Cultural Attaché Fabio Subia were also present there.

“I am so thankful to the Ambassador of Peru for this beautiful gesture. It has motivated me to do more and best. We are ready for many new assignments including allotment of time slot on Radio and Television,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the award.

Sandeep Marwah Part of Peru Exhibition at National Museum


Exhibition of Peru Arts at National Museum


The exhibition "Peru's Fabulous Treasures” at Special Exhibition Gallery at National Museum inaugurated on 16th October and will continue till 30th November, 2018 is organized by the National Museum, New Delhi in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru in India.

"Peru's Fabulous Treasures” takes you on a journey through Peruvian history, starting with Ancient Peru and the legendary discovery of the royal tomb of the Lord of Sipan,” said H.E. Jorge Castaneda Ambassador of Peru to India.

It then explores the most important Pre-Columbian cultures that flourished in Peru, including through forty original artefacts in terracotta, gold & silver and textiles from the National Museum's collection. It then features the Peru-inspired Tanjore works of artist Sujata Pai.
“The journey ends with an examination of modern artistic manifestations in Peru, whether it be in painting, tapestry, dress-making,” added Dr. B.R.Mani Director General of National Museum 

“Peru and India are countries with ancient and deeply rooted cultural traditions; cradles of civilization. Around 2,600 BCE, the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro in South Asia, as well as Caral in the Supe River valley were in their full splendor,” informed Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum. A large number of people including many artists, diplomats and art lovers attended the inaugural function.
