Noida, India: The 18th Global Film Festival Noida 2025, hosted at the iconic Marwah Film City, Noida, proudly presented the screening of the critically acclaimed Peruvian film “The Best Families”, directed by renowned filmmaker Javier Fuentes León. The film brought a strong and meaningful Latin American perspective to the festival’s vibrant international showcase and was warmly applauded by filmmakers, critics, students, media professionals, and international dignitaries.

Recognizing its powerful narrative, artistic excellence, and strong social relevance, the film was honoured with the prestigious Award of Distinction. The award was received by Mr. Enrique Descalzi, Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Peru, on behalf of the director. New Delhi, 29th July 2025: The Embassy of the Republic of Peru in India celebrated the 204th Independence Day of Peru with grandeur and patriotic fervor at Hotel Le Shangri-La, New Delhi. The event was graced by H.E. Javier Paulinich, Ambassador of Peru to India, and Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Coal and Mines, who attended as the Chief Guest.

The evening witnessed an impressive gathering of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, business leaders, and prominent personalities from the fields of art, culture, and diplomacy, highlighting the importance of Indo-Peruvian relations and global cultural harmony.

Noida, India – February 2025: The Indo Peru Film and Cultural Forum, in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru, hosted a special screening of the documentary The Inca – Cities in the Clouds, directed by Paul Cooper. The event, held during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 at Marwah Film City, Noida, was inaugurated by Enrique Descalzi, Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Peru.

During the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI, spoke about the strong historical and cultural ties between India and Peru. He emphasized the significance of such initiatives in promoting cross-cultural understanding and strengthening diplomatic relations through cinema and the arts.

Noida: The Indo-Peru Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the International Film and Television Club, proudly showcased the Peruvian feature film Deliciosa Fruta Seca, directed by Ana Cariad Sanchez, during the 17th Global Film Festival Noida 2024.

The film was honored with the prestigious “Award of Distinction,” which was announced by the President of the festival, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, in the presence of a captivated audience.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who also serves as the Chair for the Indo-Peru Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his admiration for the film, stating, “This recognition underscores the artistic excellence of Peruvian cinema and its ability to bridge cultural narratives between India and Peru.”

Indo Peru Musical Recital At Marwah Studios


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University and Embassy of Peru had a great musical evening at Marwah Studios.

It was a rare occasion of amalgamation of music by Rajasthani group by Gazi Khan Barna and Peruvian music group consisting of Chano Diaz Limaco, Kito Linares Bazalar and Tomás Diaz Limaco.

A two hours musical extravaganza not only impressed but mesmerized the audience. “I take this opportunity to thank H.E. Carlos Polo the Ambassador of Peru to India for bringing such a talented artist from Peru. The jugal bandi was too good to express through words,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented the Patron ship of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Carlos Polo.

”I am happy to be here which is also the birthplace of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum almost 11 years back. I appreciate the deep interest and dedication of the team of Marwah Studios. We promise to work together for the promotion of art and will create more awareness of Indo Peru Culture,” said H.E. Carlos Polo.

Ambassador presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Marwah for his untiring contribution to Indo Peru art promotion. Later the whole team was presented with the life membership of   Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Director AAFT School of Performing Arts Dr. Manoj Agarwak, Director Radio Noida Sushil Bharti, Minister Embassy of Peru Mercedes Gill , Cultural Encharge, Head of the Consular Section and Cultural Attaché Fabio Subia were also present there.

Noida: H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios during Indo Peru Culture Program at Noida Film City in the presence of august audience.

“I am pleased to learn that Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been Chair for Indo Peru Cultural Forum from the last 11 years and has been indulged in promoting Indian Peru relations through art and culture. He deserves bigger award,” said H.E. Carlos Polo while handing over the certificate of appreciation to Sandeep Marwah on behalf of Embassy of Peru, Government of Peru.

“I am so thankful to the Ambassador of Peru for this beautiful gesture. It has motivated me to do more and best. We are ready for many new assignments including allotment of time slot on Radio and Television,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the award.

Indo Peru Culture Forum Plans Further Activities


Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum Moves Further


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Peru in India and AAFT University of Media And Arts together will plan more cultural activities under Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum.

The Second Secretary of Embassy of Peru in New Delhi, Fabio Subia visited the office of ICMEI to discuss the future plan of IPFCF- Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum. It was decided to have a musical recital by the Peru Group at   Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah also offered to cut the disc of   this visiting group during their stay in India. “We are keen in releasing the music of Peru Group, we will record and release their music disc as part of the forum activity,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“We are thankful to AAFT and ICMEI for hosting the show in the coming month, and beautiful offer to cut the disc. This will bring great awareness   of our relationship to people of both the countries,” said Fabio Subia.

 Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Radio Noida Head Sushil Bharti, and Technicians attended the meeting from recording studios. Sandeep Marwah presented the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to Fabio Subia.
