15th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Launched

Noida: The father of Cellphone Cinema Dr. Sandeep Marwah announced the 15th edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema for which launching function has been planned for January 2022 at Noida Film City.

“I have no words to express my feelings today while announcing the 15th edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, which was almost declared as a crazy action on the day of its inception way back in 2008 when Karl Bardosh of New York University and Nitu Chandra renowned actress inaugurated the festival at Marwah Studios,” recollected Sandeep Marwah.

This festival has seen largest number of technological changes. Every year the size and the features of the mobile phone changes, but we continued to have this festival regularly. International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television is still the presenter of this world renowned first ever mobile cinema festival,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The poster launching function and first seminar will be held in the mid of January. The details of the festival will soon be published on the website www.ifcpc.com in few days.

10th Global Festival of Journalism Announced for 10th by IJC

New Delhi: The well-known and the only festival representing one of the oldest professions of the World -Journalism has been announced for this year by International Journalism Centre. The 10th Global Festival of Journalism is going to be held from 10th February to 12th February 2022 which is also the International Day of Journalism.

“We all are here ready with the plans of 10th Global Festival of Journalism which clearly states- An Event of The Journalist-for The Journalists-by The Journalists with a quote “Love Peace And Unity Through Art and Culture” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts.

The festival covers large number of programs consisting of workshops, seminars, interactions, poster launches, Observation of special days, national day celebrations, forums remembering leaders of the country, book releases, documentary screenings, news and current affair programs, entertainment, and award functions all the three days.

Soon a poster launching ceremony will be planned at Marwah Studios to start National and International Campaign of the festival.

5th Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at 14th Global Film Festival Noida

Noida: The highest and the most prestigious award of Hindi Cinema this time was presented to film Producer T.P.Agarwal the designated President of Film Federation of India and President of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association for fifteen years for his untiring services to Indian Film Industry by internationally renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti at the fifth edition in a  grand event of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

Hindi Cinema Bhushan was presented to Padam Shri Anoop Jalota also known as Bhajan Samrat for his long attachment to Indian Film Industry through music. Hindi Cinema Gaurav was presented to known actors like Deepak Tijori, Music Director Hriju Roy, Secretary CINTA & Actor Amit Behal, Actor Rajesh Khattar, Vicki Ranawat, Producer Anjum Rizvi and renowned actor Daizy Shah.

Hindi Cinema Sevi for the promotion of Hindi Cinema was presented to H.E. Lineo Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho, H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Muhammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Juan Angulo Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Kamlesh Shashi Prakash High Commissioner of Fiji, Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Serbia, Roman Masaric Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of the Czech Republic and producer Director Rajeev Chaudhury.

“We never wanted to shift the program to new date. Though things were quite uncertain because of pandemic, we are lucky that the whole event went above the expectations of people.  The 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 saw the footfall of 17000 people with different kinds of events including 9 workshops, 7 exhibitions, foreign films, Indian Films, Director’s Retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Competition segment and Films on Children.

Special events were organized by forums to respect Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shakespeare on three different days of festival. World Computer Literacy Day, Day for Persons with Disability & Navy Day were also observed during the Global Film Festival. National days of Laos and United Arab Emirates were also celebrated.

Regular three days AAFT School of Mass Communication was releasing the newsletter for the festival. Book on Sandeep Marwah was also released on the opening day. The music band of AAFT School of Performing Art was a big entertainer on the first day, followed by Fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion and Design and then the most powerful Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was held on the final day.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated  Exhibition at India Habitat

New Delhi:  Renowned media person and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurated an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by 25 different artists from all over India under the title AAINA at India Habitat Centre. This was the first exhibition of this kind after the tough period of pandemic.

“What a pleasure to be here after a long time to see the colorful works of so many different artists from different states depicting all together different art forms and figures under one roof of Palm Court of India Habitat Centre. I am very fond of paintings and always make it a point to come and appreciate the art, it motivates the artists to do more & better next time. This is a wonderful collection of old and new artist. The energy these paintings are throwing into the gallery is fantastic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Artits who all were featuring in the show consists of Suraj Shukla, Jyoti Singh, Archanaa Panda, Anjali Prabhakar, Priyanka Awasthi, Vartika Baranwal, Neha Vadehra, Nancy Aggarwal, Sawaranjeett Kaurr Gill, Manzor Ahmad, Shalini Gupta, Rakesh Tiwari, Mayank Kapoor, Bodh Raj Baldotra ( Sculptor), Shalini Singh,Gaurav Dagar, Shatakshi Sharma, Priyanka Singh, Lakshya Gora, Rupali Paliwal, Payal Agarwal, Saakshi Brahmi, Shikha Gupta, Puja, Kaustav Mukherjee.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah met every artist and congratulated them for their work. Monika Bhardhwaj IPS Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mosin Khan Managing Director of Prime News, Ali Nizami of Nizammudin Dargah also spoke on the occasion. The group art show under the banner Aura planet was curated by Erum Khan.

Whether it is new technology, investment in equipment, heavy expenditure on infrastructure and manpower, the management of universities, schools and stand-alone colleges have gone out of way to run educational institutions in the most perfect manner,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University & President designated CEGR at the 8th CEGR Higher Education Summit held at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra the current president of CEGR handed over the baton of CEGR to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and wished him all the best for the coming year. “I am sure Sandeep Marwah has a bigger vision for CEGR and he has the capacity and capability to prove the big change in the educational system of India. I wish him all the success,” said Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra.

Later Prof. K.K. Aggarwal presented prestigious Gaurav Awards to some of the prominent educationists and institutions for their excellent performance, who all were there to receive their award from all over India.

Ravish Roshan Director CEGR-Centre for Education Growth and Research announced the new National Core Committee for the year 2022 and the forth coming programs of the organization. He also proposed the vote of thanks.

“I still remember it was in October 2002 when Indo Nigerian Film Association was formed at Marwah Studios by the Government officials from Nigeria during their visit to India. There is no looking back, and we have been continuous putting our efforts to build a strong relation with the country through different genres of arts and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Nigerian Film and Cultural Forum.

The Federal Republic of Nigeria has been partners in every event designed by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry including Global Film Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival and all the International Summits on different subjects.
