Raipur: With the motive to provide an opportunity to the budding photography talents at an early stage of their career amidst the pandemic and to keep their zeal of good work going on, a Virtual Photo-Exhibition ‘ABHIVYAKTI 2020’ has been organised from September 18, 2020.

The Photography Exhibition Gallery is adorned with 45 photographs to depict the work of the students under five themes including different genres namely, Moodsandemotion in street, Black and White Fashion, Food fine arts, Long exposure and Landscape and wildlife. The exhibition is on air till October 10.

The Virtual-Photo Exhibition has been organised by School of Still Photography of AAFT University, Raipur to give budding photographers a platform to showcase their world views. The investiture ceremony was hosted by the Director of AAFT University Prof. Ritu Lal and the ceremony was inaugurated by the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sandeep Marwah in the presence of Santosh Swarnakar, Dean Academics AAFT University, Raipur, Faculty members and all students in the zoom platform.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah blessed the attendees with his wise words highlighting the beauty of the exhibition  by quoting that the exhibition follows the title “ABHIVYAKTI”. He appreciated the work of students by mentioning that the hard work portrayed in the exhibition can give a good competition to the professional photographers as well. The overall gallery was managed by Rishi Manik Das, Assistant Professor of School of Still Photography. The platform in which the exhibition was organised is kunstmatrix.

The event served as perfect example of virtual event for the artist to exhibit their work to the masses.

Warsaw: An exhibition of portraits clicked by renowned polish photographer Henryk Pietkiewicz displayed at Wybzeze Art Gallery at Gdansk created a huge attraction for picture lovers and professional cameramen.

The exhibition shows portraits of people from Polish cinematography and icons of Polish culture. The artist Henryk Pietkiewicz presents the characters captured in his close-up style focused on emotions. We can see portraits of Roman Polanski, Andrzej Wajda,  Agnieszka Holland, Krzyszof Zanussi, Maja Komorowska, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Jan Englert, Agata Buzek, Jerzy Stuhr, Janusz Gajos and the special attraction was the portrait of seven World Record Holder in media Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios of India.

I am thrilled and humbled to find my portrait in the exhibition in Gdansk Poland-“Legends of The World” by renowned Polish Photographer Henryk Pietkiewicz. In Wybrzeze Gallery at Gdansk when Indian staying in Gdansk start sending me the pictures of art gallery on my mobile,” said Sandeep Marwah full of excitement.

Sandeep Marwah is the first Indian to be in the international jury of Gdansk film festival and first Indian to be honored in Poland with ‘Gate Of Freedom Award’ for his contribution to promotion of International Cinema.

Noida: “It is a tradition in Marwah Studios, and we always make it a point to start our every major event with the exhibition of paintings and sculptures to promote fine arts within the campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah introducing the renowned painter and curater Iqbal Krishan at the inauguration of an exhibition of paintings at 5^th Global Literary Festival Noida 2019.

“Fifteen known painters from all over India displayed their paintings during this three days powerful exhibition within the Global Literary festival. I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah for his love for paintings, which attracts painters from all over India to be part of these festivals. He is the real promoter of art,” said Iqbal Krishan.

“Exhibition of paintings makes the literary festival a complete show,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India. “Painting is a self discovery, every painter paints what he is exactly,” added H.E. Cdr. K.L.Ganju Honorary Cosul General of Comoros in India.

 “The world always seems brighter when you’ve just made something that wasn’t there before,” expressed H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India. “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time,” said Kamlesh Pandey Bollywood screenwriter while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The exhibition remained open to general public and thousands of people took the advantage of this exhibition during the 5^th Global literary festival.

A solo show by artist Savya Jain titled ‘Yes-No-Maybe’ was curated by Jitendera  Padam Jain of Sree Art Gallery. The paintings are gorgeous, colorful, and very expressive. They are blend of new technics and old methods, modern and traditional looks. The variety and range is too wide,” added Dr. Marwah

Large number of art lovers, artists and members of Alliance Francaise were present there at the time of inauguration. Dr. Marwah also released a calendar of paintings by Savya Jain.

New Delhi:  Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios along with Dr. Karan Singh former Union Minister inaugurated   the retrospective of Biman B Das of sculptures; paintings, Drawings, and graphics. The exhibition showcased his professional works, journey from childhood, college days, and early professional life also.

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. The paintings of Biman B Das are poetries with words. Art and love are the same thing: It’s the process of seeing yourself in things that are not you,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Regarding his contribution towards the field of art, need not to mention that he is one of the most established names in the contemporary art world. His realistic sculptures of statues and busts of great. personalities/statesmen in bronze, stone and marble have been installed in India and around the world.

 He was born in 1943 in a historic town Tamluk in West Bengal. He is the product of Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata and had been a National Cultural Scholar, British Council Scholar and Fulbright Fellow USA.

 He has primarily served the College of Art, New Delhi for 25 years as lecturer. Thereafter, he shifted to Kolkata again and joined as Principal at his own college of Art & Craft, Kolkata. Now he is attached to the AIFACS and honorary serving as Chairman.

A large number of artists fraternity including painters, sculpturists, dancers musicians, theatre artists and art students were present there.

“The colorful paintings of these artists are spreading a powerful energy at this location. The three different formats speak a lot and add a lot to the variety of show. A wish all these artist a very colorful opening,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the exhibition.

“It is my honor and great wish to invite Sandeep Marwah, my visit to Delhi seems complete. I got the opportunity to have exhibition at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City,” said Artist Usha Chengappa.

Vikram Sethi, a well-known art promoter, curated the exhibition. Many art lovers from all over Delhi attended the exhibition.

Her creative learning started in college, where she practiced sketching & building 3D models, enhancing her experiences with colors, materials & dimensions. After working in the construction & interiors business over time, she realized her true calling is art,” introduced Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of IFCPC.

"My art is an expression of my dreams, my world in bright hues. This is an inner journey, a catalog of my subconscious being & what it infers on the spiritual plane of my daily life. Sometimes, these artistic expressions are decoded months after paintings have been made. When I paint, it’s in a meditative state of mind as if in a trance,” expressed Parul Mehra while showing her works of Art.

New Delhi: An exhibition under the title La Verve Du Art was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group at Open Palm Court, India Habitat Center recently.

“Art is a product that is made with the intention of stimulating the human senses as well as the human mind , spirit and soul. An artwork is normally judged by how much impact it has on people and how much they appreciate it. Some people also get inspired,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the show.

“IKA is an initiative to bring art into the life of all, bringing the artists and art lovers together to a fair and unbiased platform, to help bring joy and much needed escape to another worlds., IKA has been successfully promoting arts and artists for past 7 years,” said Ruchi Chadha art curater

“This year we have introduced our new exhibition "La Verve du Art" Season 1, It’s a group show of some of the finest, senior and upcoming creative minds of our country,” added Gaurav Chawla.

A new art gallery under the banner Modern Art Gallery was recently inaugurated at Santushti Complex in Chanakyapuri by Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City, the art lover and Global Cultural Minister who has been associated with number of art and cultural national and international organizations.

The first exhibition titled-Redefining was also started on the same day. Renowned artists like Lalu Prasad Shaw, Paresh Maity, Ramesh Gorajal, Thota Vaikuntham, Ved Nayar, Somnath Singh and many other artists displayed their arts in this exhibition.

New Delhi: An exhibition of photography of well known dancer Sharon Lowen was inaugurated at India International Centre. It was collection of some of the rare stills of her 45 years in India presented by Naresh Kapuria.

“Photography is a passion, the love for clicking extra ordinary pictures comes from within, a training can enhance your art, make you technically fit and make you more creative,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group present at the inauguration.

Sandeep Marwah informed that AAFT is also conducting professional courses in still photography from a short-term to recently added three years full time  degree course.

Sharon Lowen is an Odissi dancer, trained since 1975 by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She has performed and choreographed for film and television and presented hundreds of concerts throughout India

The exhibition was attended by Ashok Lavasa Election Commissioner of India, Ashok Lal Writer, Seeran Narendra Designer, Dr. Sunil Kothari of The Hindu, P.Suresh Reddy Secretary Ankush, Nilanjan Gupta Journalist, Ambassador Suresh Goyal former Director General ICCR and many other art lovers.

New Delhi: A three-day group shows of 51 artists from all over India and  abroad  inaugurated by the Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at Indira Gandhi Centre for Arts, New Delhi.

Some of the well renowned painters and sculpture were invited by 9th International Art Exhibition at Indira Gandhi Centre for Arts to put up their exhibition of paintings, photographs and sculptures for the display for public awareness.

The artist who participated were from USA, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Greece, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and India. Shikha Gupta curated the exhibition under the banner of Jungle Killol Foundation.

The paintings are so beautiful and colorful. They are depicting the culture of their country blended with the thinking process of the artists. This is indeed a culture show of many countries,” said Sandeep Marwah accompanied with Dr. Zoltan Director of Hugarian Information & Cultural Centre.

Varanasi: Legendary educationist and founder of Noida film city Sandeep Marwah was honored with Confluence –Aavaran Award by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India at a grand function at Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul at Badalpur Lamhi, Varanasi for promoting different kinds of art and culture of India.

“It all started with exporting handicrafts to Europe, followed by manufacturing and export of Indian carpets and durries be from Kashmir, Agra, Gwalior, Bhadhoi, Mirzapur, Amritsar and Jaipur. Now I am promoting again handicrafts and textiles through my AAFT School of Fashion And Design,” informed Sandeep Marwah receiving award from the Ministry.

“I am excited that the award has been given in Varanasi, the constituency of our Hon able Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” added Marwah. The function was attended by large number of handicraft and textile manufacturers, Exporters, Government officials from state and Central Government, High Commissioners and Ambassadors from New Delhi and members of Confluence Foundation.

 Three-day exhibition of handicrafts and textile was inaugurated at the most prestigious and popular Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul at Varanasi curated by Eastern UP Exporters Association and the Development Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh, from 21^st to 23^rd April informed Smita Srivastava.

New Delhi: Totally inspired by the eyes, artist Dipak Kumar Ghosh has displayed  a series of attractive portraits of renowned personalities which he has expressed on canvas using pencil and charcoal at IGNCA. The exhibition has been titled "Eyes Says It All" showcases the piercing eyes of eminent personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Albert Einstein, Sri Ramakrishna, Mother Teresa, A.P.J Abdul Kalam and more.

"The exhibition was inaugurated by former President Pranab Mukherjee who was in all praise about the exhibition. "An artist should have a creative mind, they feast the mind of the living & that is their study. I wish Mr. Ghosh and associates a grand success for this exhibition," Mukherjee said during the inauguration.

 Dipak Kumar Ghosh said that “every stroke in work of art is important to the  picture and the time and effort that I have invested in each and every portrait and sketch and painting of mine, they are so special to me,”
