Sandeep Marwah Special Guest On National Day of Nigeria


National Day of Nigeria Celebrated


New Delhi: The renowned film and television & media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios extended his best wishes to the High Commissioner of Nigeria H.E. Major General Chris Sunday Eze on the National Day (Independence Day) of Nigeria.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Major General Chris Sunday Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria to India and all the countrymen of Nigeria on this auspicious National day of Independence. We are good friends to Nigeria and will remain the best friend for ever,” said Sandeep Marwah while shaking hands with High Commissioner.

A grand event was organized at the High Commission complex where large number of Diplomats including High Commissioners and Ambassadors of many countries were there to greet and attend the function.

Gen. V. K. Singh Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India was the Chief Guest of the event. The flag ceremony was followed by cultural program by Nigerians.
  
Sandeep Marwah has trained more than 100 Nigerian in cinema and has been titled as Father of New Nigerian Cinema. He is the Patron of Actors Guild of Nigeria. He has been to Nigeria two times as State Guest and Chairing Indo Nigerian Film Association. He has been honored by Nigerians and is Patron to Nigerian Student’s Organization in India.

Sandeep Marwah Titled Global Cultural Minister by Africans


Two Hundred Africans Selected Marwah As Cultural Leader


New Delhi: More than 200 Africans representing Nigeria, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana and other nations gathered at Indo Nigerian Summit at Marwah Studios to celebrate cultural ties with India, a summit organized by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Out of 55 countries of Africa Sandeep Marwah is already dealing with 40 countries of the continent, by way of attracting students or delegates for different Global Festivals and Global summits he has been organizing from time to time in association with Government of India and other international bodies,” said Solomon the Secretary of Indo Nigerian Film Association.

“It is a pleasure to note that he has been nominated as cultural Ambassador for many countries including Nigeria, Senegal, Gabon, Gambia, South Africa, Ghana and others by the respective governments of these countries,” added Uthelu President of Nigerian Association while presenting Memento to Sandeep Marwah.

“We all representatives of Africa do nominate and title H.E. Sandeep Marwah as the Global Cultural Minister. He deserves to be one as he has reached to 145 countries of the World through art and Culture,’ said Dr Mohan designated Vice Chancellor of University.

“I am indebted to all of you for your love and affection you have extended towards me by nominating me once again The Global Cultural Minister. I will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the desires of Africans in India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI. H.E. Chris Sunday Eze Patron to Indo Nigerian Film Association

Noida: One of the oldest organization, INFA- Indo Nigerian Film Association, to promote and develop the relation between India and Nigeria has been running under International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry with its International head Quarters at Noida Film City.

The President Sandeep Marwah, who has been associated with the organization from the day of its inception, has honored H.E. Major General Chris Sunday Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria to India with the Patron ship of the organization.

“It is a great honor to have with us H.E. Maj General Chris Sunday Eze the High Commissioner of Nigeria to India on the board as the Patron of the organization. I am sure we will be able to look much ahead under his leadership,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the association.

“So well has been done and I am sure much more will be done under the leadership of Marwah. We need leaders like Marwah to run the show,” said H.E. Eze while accepting the Patron Ship.

The event was attended by many Nigerian professionals and students associated with films, art and culture. Later High Commissioner presented the certificates of membership to new members also.



Sandeep Marwah Honored for His Services to Indo Nigerian Relations



Noida: More than 100 dedicated students who have been trained by Marwah under Asian Academy of Film And Television for different courses in last 20 years from different parts of Nigeria has brought the film industry of Nigeria to a new status. It has become the second biggest industry in the World after India.

Sandeep Marwah has been named as the “father of Nigerian New Cinema”. The formation of Indo Nigerian Film Association and two times state visit of Marwah to Nigeria then visit of  more than 80 most important delegates from Nigeria to India during these years has added a lot to Indo Nigerian Relations through art and culture.

“Sandeep Marwah deserves all the awards possible from Nigeria for bringing two countries together. His contribution has gone into the books of art and culture history. I congratulate him and pray him to continue this designation of President of Indo Nigerian Film Association to move further,” said Major General Chris Sunday Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria to India while presenting the memento to Marwah.

“My position has gone up on receiving the blessings from High Commissioner. I am now much more encouraged to do something different again. I thank H.E. Eze for trusting me to his best,” said Sandeep Marwah on receiving the award.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Moves Further Under ICMEI

Noida: INFA-Indo Nigerian Film Association is one of the first organizations created by Marwah Studios in international relation chapters. Ample has been done since that time. It has given opportunity to Sandeep Marwah to visit Nigeria two times as a state guest and visited Lagos, Abuja, Jos and Kano state.

A brief report was submit to H.E. Major General Chris Sunday Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria to India on his visit to the International Head Quarters of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Noida Film City.

“We have trained more than 100 Nigerian in Cinema at AAFT from last 20 years coming from different parts of the Nigeria. The love and affection of my students has given me a title of ‘Father of Nigerian Cinema’. I am more than happy that Nigeria now has become the second biggest film producing country in the World,” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT and Indo Nigerian Film Association.

History was once again created on the eighth October, 2002 when Mr. GD Akpan, minister counsellor in high commission of Nigeria, formally announced the formation of Indo Nigerian Film Association and appointed Director of Asian Academy of Film & TV as its chairperson. Dr. H. Ekwuazi, Managing Director of Nigeria Film Development Corporation cum Chairperson of National Film Institute of Nigeria his deputy Mr. T. Benibo and Mrs. R. Odey, Executive Director National Film Video Censor Board of Nigeria were designated as the founder members of the association.

The delegates from Nigeria who attended the film courses under United Nation Program included Ishaq sidi ishaq, Mustapha Mustapha, JAMILU Ahmad Yakasai, Bashir Abdullahi rijau, Aminu Muhammad SABO, Bala Anas Babinlata, Salisu balarabe tuku, Usman Adam Yusif, HAUWA Maina, Aliyu Shehu Yakasai, Falalu A Doray, Ibrahim Mandawari, Muhammad Ali Nuhu, Hamisu Lamido Iyantama, Sani labaran Umar (UMAR GOMBE), Faika RAHI, Abdullahi Sani Abdullahi, Mikail bn Hassan and Muhammad Adamu Bifa strengthen the relations.

Visit of renowned people like Prince Ifeanyi Dike Founder and Chairman Board of trustee of Actors Guild of Nigeria. Peter E. A. O. Eguakhide Vice President AGN Asia Chapter, Sam Worlu the former Diplomat, Ms Nene Ibekaku Councellor (Information & Culture) Nigerian High Commission, H.E. Sola Enikanoliaye High Commissioner of Nigeria to India, Chuks Jonathan Chikezie, the first secretary of Nigeria High Commission H.E. Mahesh Sachdev Indian Ambassador to Nigeria made this association a strong one.


H.E. the Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of State of Lagos, Nigeria accompanied by a large team of experts and specialists. HE Dr. Rabio Musa Kwankwaso Governor of Kano State in Nigeria with the delegation had Umar Lawal, Hallu Ibrahim Dantiye, Baffa Babba Danagundi, Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, Kadafa Lolo Ruth, Adhama Dattijo, Ahmed Rabiu, Aminu Saidu Adhama, Sangayama Mohammed and Varun Bansal who all participated in the conference at Marwah Studios.


A file of activities related to Nigeria under ICMEI was presented to the High Commissioner as a ready reckoner. Later Sandeep Marwah Presented the Patron ship of Indo Nigerian Film Association to H.E. Major General Chris Sunday Eze. High Commissioner also presented the memento to Sandeep Marwah for his untiring contribution to Indo Nigerian Relations.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Will Promote 4th IFCC

INFA Indo Nigerian Film Association has agreed to support the forthcoming 4th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema fixed for 14th and 15th of January 2011 at Noida Film City.

“It is a very unique kind of festival where we expect film maker to use mobile phone camera to shoot his film” said Sandeep Marwah President of the 4th IFCC “ we want to promote the sense of film making and instance response within masses to something different which is happening around you” Marwah added.

The two day festival will take place at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. Any person can join this festival as there is no entry fee. The Governing Council of Indo Nigerian Film Association will also promote this festival in Nigeria and request for the entries from there.

There will be a seminar and workshop on the first day and screening of films their judgement and awards on the second day which will be followed by a gala dinner.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Joins 3rd Global Film Festival




The management of 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 has joined hands with Indo Nigerian Film Association for the promotion of the festival. The intimation has been sent to different organizations in Nigeria which is one of the largest film producing country of the World.

“We have been associated now with Indo Nigerian Film Association which is promoting film and television business of Indian Films in Nigeria and vice versa” said Sandeep Marwah President of Global Film Festival and Marwah Studios.

Ugo Ben, L Oyeleela, Bimakinde Jide, Osei Tutu Safo, Busari Omogbocahan and Bamigbola Olyfemi have confirmed their visit to the festival. The festival will take place from 12th November to 14th November at Noida Film City, India and shall comprised of workshops, seminars, exhibitions, market, launchings, book releases, interactions etc.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Celebrated Nigerian Day


Asian Academy of Film And Television, the only institution in India attracting students from more than 70 countries of the World celebrated Nigerian Day jointly with Indo Nigerian Film Association (INFA) under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah, a renowned Asian Media personality at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“India and Nigeria may be apart on the globe but the hearts of both the countries are close to each other” said Chuks Jonathan Chikezie, the first secretary of Nigeria High Commission in India in the capacity of Chief Guest while narrating the relations of both the countries. “We can develop strong relations with each other through films. I am impressed by the objectives of INFA and hope to work together” Chuks added.

“I pleased to announce a film project to be directed by the Nigerian Director under INFA and supported by International Public Broadcasting Forum. That can be a wonderful start of cultural exchange too.” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Indo Nigerian Film Association.

The program started with the national Anthem of Nigeria and closed with Indian National Anthem. Dr.Om Gupta, Kalyan Sarkar, Harshvardhan, Ugo Ben also spoke on the subject. R.K. Singh paid vote of thanks. Later Marwah presented the life membership of International Film And Television Club to Chuks Jonathan Chikezie.
