Sandeep Marwah Congratulated The Nation on Republic Day

Marwah Extended Best Wishes on Republic Day


New Delhi: “I extend my heartiest congratulations to all the citizens of Republic of India on this auspicious day of 26th January. My best wishes to each and every one for a bright and a strong future,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a function addressing media persons.

“The nation has given us every thing what you can dream in life. Now it is our turn to give back to the nation,” added Marwah also President of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

India became independent of the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947. India did not have a permanent constitution at this time. The drafting committee presented the constitution's first draft to the national assembly on November 4, 1947. The national assembly signed the final English and Hindi language versions of the constitution on January 24, 1950.

India's constitution came into effect on Republic Day, January 26, 1950. This date was chosen as it was the anniversary of Purna Swaraj Day, which was held on January 26, 1930.The constitution gave India's citizens the power to govern themselves by choosing their own government informed Marwah.

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship organized Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah in the second part of the summit introduced the need of cellphone cinema. “We invite you all to be part of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema also. We are expecting more than 600 films from all over the World. Every one will be given participation certificates and there are many different awards for winners too,” said Marwah.

Being in Film City Noida and Marwah Studios is like dream come true. We could not believe that we will be able to see and meet people like Sandeep Marwah,” said Ms Maria Del Rosario Quinonez Ruiz delegate from Guatemala. “ We have learned the culture of India from Indian films, now we are sharing dice with Father of Cellphone Cinema which is like a dream,” added Khabiba Nazarieva from Tajikistan.

“I am feeling that if we would have not been here our trip would have been incomplete. There is so much to learn from India,” said Ms Winnie Muoki from Kenya. “It is one of my luckiest day that I could have been the part of this summit,” added Mrs Sabrina OmarAbdulla, from Tanzania.


The delegates were representing countries like Afghanistan, Algeria, Ethiopia, Kiribati, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Swaziland, Uganda, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cote D’ Ivoire, Guatemala, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania and India. Later a poster of forth coming 11th edition of festival of cellphone cinema was released by the delegates.

Noida: A grand event was recorded at Noida Film City when International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Marwah Studios in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

“It has been 12 years we have been celebrating International Festival of Cellphone Cinema. The 11th edition is going to be on 12th February 2018. Global Cellphone Cinema Summit is like a curtain raiser to the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“It is a golden opportunity for all of us to be part of Global Cellphone Cinema Summit in India. Never I have attended an event like this,” said Ms Zarour Assia delegate from Algeria while lighting the ceremonial lamp. “We are here in India for the first time, the culture of India is so inviting that we would love to be back soon,” added Venuste Niyirora from Rwanda.

“GCPC Summit has given us ample knowledge to study further and be a part of the festival next time,” said Greno Wanda delegate from Malawi. “ Indian cinema has always impressed us. We are fond of Hindi films and now we are fascinated by the concept of Cellphone Cinema,” said Ms Adibahon Haitmatova from Kyrgyzstan.

The first session was an introductory session of the summit. Sandeep Marwah was nominated for the Chair and Marwah gave ample knowledge about Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media and Media Education to the participants from all over the World.

The delegates were representing countries like Afghanistan, Algeria, Ethiopia, Kiribati, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Swaziland, Uganda, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cote D’ Ivoire, Guatemala, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania and India.

All the delegates presented their views and share their experiences one by one. Radio Noida and MSTV recorded the event. The delegates proposed the name of Sandeep Marwah for the title “Father of Cellphone Cinema”.

Noida: The renowned international media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios honored and titled as “The Father of Cellphone Cinema” by the 44 delegates from 24 Countries of World during Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah is the first person to shoot film on cellphone in India around 12 years back. He is also the first person to start the first ever International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in the World.

It was long ago when my friend, Prof. Karl Bardosh from New York and myself shot a film on mobile. it was shot half in Noida and half in New York. Then we also planned a first ever festival of films shot by mobile phone, then no looking back,” said Sandeep Marwah talking to the house full auditorium foreign delegates and film makers from all over India.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized the Cellphone Cinema Summit in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The 11th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema will open on 12th February 2018 along with Global Festival of Journalism.

New Delhi: The management and organization of Narayani Sahitya Academy honored Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios with a prestigious award for his untiring contribution to the promotion of literature.

Sandeep Marwah has been in education for more than 25 years and literature has been always a part of all the courses running in the campus. He has promoted special cell for the publication of books, journals, newsletters etc. to give emphasis on writing.  A popular national weekly has been also a part of the group.

Marwah is the first individual to start a world-class literary festival under the name and banner of Global Literary Festival. More than 100 countries have already participated in the last 3 festivals of international scale.

12th February Will Be Celebrated International Day of Journalism


International Journalism Centre Presents Global Festival of Journalism


Dubai: “We are planning for the sixth Global Festival of Journalism on 12th February 2018. International Journalism Centre will be the host and I am happy that the concept has picked up so well,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre at Hotel Address Boulevard at Dubai while talking to the press.

Seven years back Sandeep Marwah declared 12th February as the International Day of Journalism as there was no date marked for the journalism in the United Nations calendar. It has been now seven years this concept has picked up very well and much organization all over the World started celebrating 12th February as the International Day of Journalism.

Global Festival of Journalism is planned to celebrate this great day and Marwah Studios has taken initiative to start this festival in India. Asian Academy of Film And Television and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is going to support the cause of Journalism.
