AAFT Join Hands With St. John International University,USA



We are good in media but still want to join hands with the best in the World. Today that part is also complete by joining hands with AAFT Asian Academy of Film And Television” said Lorenzina Zampedri Chair of the Board of Directors of St. John International University of USA based in Italy.

“We are excited to sign articulation agreement with St. James University so that can provide facility to students to have their one semester in Italy and have European experience at the most minimum cost” said Sandeep Marwah while accepting the collaboration.

“Both the institutions are benefited with these arrangements” added John Martin Thomas Vice President for International Development and Relationships inviting sandeep Marwah to Italy for see for him how they are organized.

The students exchange, faculty exchange and culture exchange programs will start from this August itself.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Film City Noida now the fastest growing film city of the World and his studios Marwah Studios is the first professional studios of North India & has churned out 4500 television programme,125 feature films, 5000 training films and is a birth place for many channels of the country.

Sandeep Marwah has been director of a film school for 20 years with a experience of 48000 hrs of training program, churned out 10000 media professionals from 94 countries of the World whereas he has designed 45 different courses from 3 months to 3 years.

Exhibition of Pictures of Making of Feature Film LOST





It was a moment of joy for the Asian Education Group when its students of ASC-UCLan gave a sneak preview of the stills of their first full length feature film “LOST” at an exhibition which was inaugurated by senior lecturer of University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Preston, UK, Peter Wobser here today.

When asked Peter about the film, he said Wow with a smile and said students here at the India Campus have proved that they have the potential and are under the right guidance.
This is the first time in the country that the undergraduate students of a film production course have a feature film under their belt. As part of the module for the students studying in the India campus of UCLan, the film was shot on different locations in Kolkata.

Over 100 photographs taken by the students were on display. They ranged from working shots of guys and girls to the crew members relaxing during the shoot.

Appreciating the work of the students, AEG President Sandeep Marwah who is also the producer of the film said that ASC-UCLan is the only university in the country to give practical training to students on a professional level. I am happy with my students to have come up with such a good film and I am sure that they all have a bright future. We make them learn today so that they stand out in the tinsel world tomorrow, he added.

Head of the school, R.K. Singh said that nowhere in the country such practical training is given to students of the film production course. “I feel pleased to see the students as young film-makers and we are proud to be part of their grooming.
  
Veteran Journalist & International Journalism course leader Nitin Saxena commented on the exhibition that the wall look like a vibrant photo album narrating a live picture of how charming & hectic the shoot at Kolkata must have been.

ASMS Offers Doctorate Programs To Nigerian Faculty Members

Akshay Marwah's Film Audition-A Big Hit At International Festival



Jos, Nigeria: The auditorium full of international audience created a wonderful emotional environment when all the cinema students could easily relate themselves with the theme of the film-AUDITION, submitted by the Indian Film School Asian Academy of Film And Television at( ISFF) International Student’s Film Festival at Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

Speaking to the audience the producer of the film Akshay Marwah said,” It is not necessary to have large budgets to convince theatre audience, what you need is a real plot, strong theme, a wonderful script and powerful screen play” 

Later Akshay Marwah presented the copy of the film Audition to the Nation Film Institute for their archives. The film has new stars in lead roles which was given a standing ovation for the acting. The film is directed by Karan Boolani, Music by Amit Trivedi & Anjo John, Editor Bakul Maityani, DOP Hari Vedantam, Written by Karan Boolani & Tahir Bhasin, Dialogues by Manu Rishi Chadha & Ankur Tiwari.


Sandeep Marwah on Radio ICE 96.1FM Jos



Jos, Nigeria: “Films are the best ambassador of culture of any country, and film festivals are the best ways to showcase the works of a film maker” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios during his interview at Radio Station ICE 96.1FM at Jos, Nigeria.

Sandeep Marwah was accompanied with Dr E. Ewakuzaki the former Chairperson of National Film Corporation of Nigeria, Akshay Marwah CEO Marwah Studios, Dr.Tor Iorapuu HOD Theatre and Arts of University of Jos and A.A.Akalendu of World Bank.

The interview was specially designed on the visit of Sandeep Marwah from India on the occasion of first International Students Film Festival at Jos hosted by National Film Institute in association with University of Jos and University of Lagos. Later Sandeep Marwah was greeted by Prof. Benjamin the Dy Vice Chancellor of University of Jos.


Sandeep Marwah Won The Hearts At Jos International Film Festival



Jos, Nigeria: “The most beautiful thing in the world is your feelings and thinking. To be a good film maker you have to enhance these two-good feelings & good thinking so that through your good karmas you can convert this earth into heaven” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in his opening words in a master class on the First International Students Film Festival at Jos hosted by National Film Institute.

Answering questions Sandeep Marwah touched all the points related to Indian Film industry, film production, film marketing, impact of cinema on society, importance of short films and film education, film distribution and cost of Indian cinema, star values and starism.


The Master class was attended by a large number of students, media persons, professors from all over Nigeria including partner Institutions-World Bank, University of Lagos and University of Jos. Sandeep Marwah won the hearts of people at International Students Film Festival Jos. The program ended with a standing Ovation to Sandeep Marwah. Later Marwah was honored in the presence of august audience.

National Film Institute Nigeria Honored Sandeep Marwah



Jos, Nigeria: “Who does not know him, a man who has created five World Records needs to be given a special importance and status in media. Sandeep Marwah was the special guest of honor on the inauguration of first International Students Film Festival funded by the World Bank. The event was attended by hundreds of young enthusiastic film makers, media persons, film and TV personalities and students of media schools.

Sandeep Marwah On The Radio UNILAG 103.1


Lagos, Nigeria: Live broadcast was planned on Radio UNILAG 103.1 FM on the visit of renowned Asian Media Personality Sandeep Marwah at Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria.

“We started Indo Nigerian Film Association 12 years back from Marwah Studios as a part of Asian Society of Film And Television, now it has grown to an international standards” said Sandeep Marwah on the Radio while thanking Prof. R.A.Bello Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos for honoring him in the University.

The CEO of Marwah Studios Akshay Marwah was also interviewed for bringing in youths of two countries together at the single platform of INFA and providing world class facilities to more than 50 Nigerian students at Asian Academy of Film And Television.


Later Marwahs took the round of the University of Lagos and interacted with the heads of department   and faculty of Mass communication.

INFA Is The Starting Point Of Relationship-Sandeep Marwah

 Talking to the press Sandeep Marwah said “I am not only representing Marwah Studios a family of ten thousand media professionals but my country India which is the largest producer of films in the World”. “Nigeria is emerging as the second largest film producing country, it has to keep in mind the quality and the content always in mind” thanked Marwah for making him as part of this festival.

Lagos, Nigeria: “I have no words for the appreciation of the works of Sandeep Marwah who has given 30 years to the promotion of film, television and cinema. Sandeep has created numerous international records and today his presence at University of Lagos has added to the prestige of the University” said Prof. R.A. AAFT Participating In Nigerian Film Festival




NOIDA: What is common between these films-Prashan Chin by Faraz Haider, Bloody Wednesday, Love Language, Sach (Ek Kinar Katha), Shut Up Hitler, Sarhadein and  The Audition by Karan Bolani- they all are produced by Asian Academy of Film And Television and are part of screening at International Students Film Festival(ISFF) at Jos, Nigeria.

The Three institutions including University of Lagos, University of Jos and National Film Institute of Nigeria along with World Bank under  B2 Project organized four days International film festival from 18th to 21st June at State of Plateau.

Seven films by different directors and with different Genre have been submitted under the leadership of Akshay Marwah here in Jos. The festival has received more than 100 films from 21 institutions of the World. The President of Asian Education Group Sandeep Marwah is the guest of honor at the festival.
