Film Festivals Are The Best Windows to Show Cinema-Sandeep Marwah




Marwah Studios has given 10 best film festivals to the nation. These festivals have attained international stature and created international records with time. “Film Festivals are the best windows to show cinema “ Sandeep Marwah invited Indu Srikent to join IFTC as advisor.

Indu Shrikent graduated with a major in English literature. In 1993, she joined Cinemaya,The Asian Film Quarterly, a journal devoted to Asian cinema, where she became deputy editor. One of the founder members of NETPAC India, Indu Shrikent promoted Asian cinema extensively in India by organizing film appreciation courses, screenplay workshops, and film weeks on Asian countries culminating in 1999 with the launch of the Cinefan Festival in New Delhi.

Indu Shrikent has been co-director of the Cinefan Film Festival since its inception in 1999 and has contributed to the steady growth of the festival. At present she is the Festival Director of Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema.

“We are proud to be associated with Indu Ji, who can contribute a lot to film festivals” added Marwah. Later Marwah handed over the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television to Indu.

Pratima Pandey on the Board of Asian School of Fashion



“Fashion welcomes us a to new realm full of new ideas, new concepts, new ideologies, new possibilities. We suddenly find ourselves in the inner world of a fellow human being. All humanity sharing a common thread, we identify ourselves with the artist” said Pratima Pandey renowned dress designer while talking to the students of dress designing and textile desiging at Asian School of Fashion at Noida.

Pandey was invited for the special class to share her experience in fashion at Noida Film City. “We are the first film school to have our own fashion school. The students are lucky enough to design clothes for television and film productions of Marwah Studios during the training period” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian School of Fashion.

Sandeep Marwah later honored Pratima Pandey with Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Press Club of India



An organization of more than 3000 journalist based in Delhi under the oldest association called Press Club of India honored Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Society of Film And Television for his untiring contribution to media and social activities.

The Press Club of India is already a half century old and is going great. It was formed way back in 1958 largely at the initiative of a few editors in the capital of the country. It is a tribute to their vision and their faith in fellow journalists that the old lady of Raisina Road is still there and, what's more, doing well. But the unique feature of the club is that it represents the entire country not cities as the press clubs all over the globe do.

 The senior journalists and members of the management committee including Komal Sharma, Vijay Shanker, Nadeem Kazmi and Sanjay Singh handed over PCI award to Sandeep Marwah.

“I am pleased to be now part of the family of journalism. The award has encouraged me to do more for the betterment of my nation” said Sandeep Marwah enthusiastically.


World Environment Day Celebrated at Noida



“World Environment Day (WED) is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment.” Said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development & Research Foundation and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a grand function at Noida.

 “Over the years it has grown to be a broad, global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated by stakeholders in over 100 countries. It also serves as the ‘people’s day’ for doing something positive for the environment, galvanizing individual actions into a collective power that generates an exponential positive impact on the planet” added Marwah.

Later Sandeep Marwah installed plants to mark respect to Mother Earth along with the members of the resident associations of different sectors of Noida.

“There is lot to do in media and entertainment sector in India, this sector actually builds up the real image of India. We are more than conscious in this government and looking for concrete suggestions from Chambers like Assocham” said Prakash Javadekar Minister for Information And Broadcasting, Government of India on the inauguration of Screens 2014 an annual event on media and entertainment at New Delhi.



“It is our honest efforts to promote media and entertainment industry and bridge the gap between government and industry through our chamber” added Rajkumar Dhoot of Assocham.



Large number of professionals from all the mediums of media including print, radio, television, cinema and new media were present during the sessions to discuss their needs and problems of the industry informed Sandeep Marwah of M&E Committee.

Global Day of Parents Observed at Marwah Studios

The Global Day of Parents is observed on the 1st of June every year. The day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2012 to honor parents throughout the world.
“The Global Day provid
es an opportunity to appreciate all parents in all parts of the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a meeting at Marwah Studios, film city Noida.

In its resolution, the General Assembly also noted that the family has the primary responsibility for the nurturing and protection of children and that children, for the full and harmonious development of their personality, should grow up in a family environment and in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding.

The resolution recognizes the role of parents in the rearing of children and invites Member States to celebrate the Day in full partnership with civil society, particularly involving young people and children.

World Ocean Day Celebrated at AAFT


“We celebrate and observed World Oceans Day to remind everyone of the major part the Ocean has in everyday life. They are the lungs of our planet, providing most of the oxygen we breathe” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a joint program at Marwah Studios, film city Noida.

Talking to the media persons Marwah added that WOD is to inform the public on the impact of the human actions on the Ocean to develop a worldwide movement of citizen, towards the Ocean to mobilize and unite the world’s population on a project for the sustainable management of the World Ocean.

 They are a major source of food and medicines and a critical part of the biosphere and to celebrate together the beauty, the wealth and the promise of the Ocean.

 “We have to ensure that oceans continue to meet our needs without compromising those of future generations. They regulate the planet’s climate and are a significant source of nutrition. Their surface provides essential passage for global trade, while their depths hold current and future solutions to humanity’s energy needs” Marwah also read message by Ban Ki Moon the Secretary General of United Nation.

R.Roshan Baig Invited Marwah to Develop Film City in Karnataka

“We have experience of 25 years of designing and execution of film city since the inception of Noida Film City. We would love to be part of Bangalore film city in Karnataka” added Marwah.

Dr Goswami Appointed Chairperson for IFTRC



Dr.V.K.Goswami Phd Indian Institute of Technology kharakpur, MS from University of Wisconsin USA, post Doctorate  Fellow at the university of Illinois Chicago USA has been nominated as the Chairperson of International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios.

International Film And Television Research Centre was started by Sandeep Marwah of Asian Academy of Film And Television to give value addition to the media education. It is the first ever film and TV research centre in India in private sector with its own publication department.

“I am pleased to be the Chairperson of 22 year old research centre. Research has been my subject for almost 50 years of my education and career. I am sure I will be able to contribute to this organization to my best” said Dr. V.K. Goswami.

Team of Feature Film Fugly at Marwah Studios






“Kabir Sadanand has been an actor and he knows well how to persuade actors to give their best” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing the director of the feature film Fugly.

“I am back home, this is my place of origin, I have learned a lot from AAFT-my alma matter. I extent my gratitude to my film school” said Mohit Marwah one of the four main artists present on the stage.
“I am happy that the film is going to leave a message for the audience” added Vijender Singh. “We all are new and we have put in our best in the film” said Kiara Advani the leading lady of the film.

We want you to see the film on 13th June at your nearest theater, you will sure like our efforts” said Arfi Lamba. “Film has been out of our life. It has emotions, sensation, drama, reality and it is an entertainment” said Kabir Sadanand director of the film.

FUGLY has been produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwani Yardi. Later Sandeep Marwah honored the team with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Marwah Presented Charter to Ambassador of India in Senegal



“We have finalized 13 important things under the banner of Marwah Studios in relation to Indo Senegal Film And Cultural Association to develop and promote relation between two countries” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while handing over the charter of programs designed”

“I welcome the visit of Sandeep Marwah to Senegal. His visit has given ample to the people of Senegal related to films and culture to work through out the year, be it a newspaper, radio, television, events or film and television training” said H.E. Partha Sathpathy Ambassador of India to Senegal.

Marwah Studios has prepared the list of 13 items, which have been announced on different occasions during the visit of Sandeep Marwah. The charter includes film and TV training at subsidized fee, a scholarship, radio and television broadcasts and a joint venture in producing cinema.

Sandeep Marwah Invited at African Renaissance Monument at Dakar


“I my trip to Dakar would have been incomplete, if I would have not visited the African Renaissance Monument. I wish people of Senegal a perfect family life” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the state visit to Senegal.

The African Renaissance Monument is a 49m tall bronze statue located on top of one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles, outside of Dakar, Senegal. Built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam suburb, the statue was designed by the Senegalese architect Pierre Goudiaby after an idea presented by president Abdoulaye Wade and built by Mansudae Overseas Projects, a company from North Korea.

“We offer Sandeep Marwah a full cooperation in his venture if any a film on Senegal which shall include this prestigious monument” thanked Abdel Kader Fall the administrator of African Renaissance Monument.

Sandeep was accompanied by Reena Marwah, Abhinav Bajpai, O.P.Meena, Hugues DIAZ and Modibo Diawara to the monument.
