Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been in media industry for forty years with thirty years experience in education industry is the most recognizable personality. His vast experience and hardwork has brought AAFT to one of the best institutions in the country.

 

“We have planned many different kinds of creative workshops, seminars, program which will give our students an absolutely extraordinary experience. It includes national and international trips, study tours to Delhi and Mumbai, involvement in Global Film Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week and Global Festival of Journalism.

Busan; “My visit to Busan has been successful as I have met many educationist from different parts of the World and it has given me an opportunity to join hands also with India for the first time. AAFT and UTIC will work together in education,” said Simeon Hugo Ferreira Gonzalez Rector, Universidad Tecnologica Intercontinental, Paraguay.

 

“This is for the first time we are planning to work with Paraguay educational institution that is also of such a repute. Idea is to build a wonderful relation between two countries through young Indians and Paraguayans. We can definitely share our expertise with each other,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts representing India in South Korea.

 

Dr. Sandeep Marwah invited Simeon Hugo Ferreira Gonzalez to India to see for himself how AAFT is organized at Noida Film City. Dr. Marwah also referred his association to UTIC University with H.E. Fleming Raul Duarte, the Ambassador of Paraguay to India. The MOU was signed at World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp at Busan, South Korea organized by International Youth Fellowship.

The discussion was as how the management of different organizations managed with their associates in this tough time of Corona Virus. “We were lucky to announce the lockdown for our organization even before Government could announce. We predicted the problems before hand and allowed the complete staff and students of AAFT to go back home before they face any problem in commuting to their native places.

 

“We have been in touch with each and every student and staff through all the means of communication available to us at this time be it a whatsup, message, phone, Zoom or any other app. The safety is the first priority and then followed by any other work,” added Dr. Marwah.

 

We could finish the syllabus on line, exams were taken on line and now preparing for the next year. The institution is open for all the days to support any and every one associated with AAFT and Marwah Studios expressed Dr. Marwah.

We have heard the name of AAFT and today is the D- Day when we are joining hands with AAFT for the promotion of education and relations with India,” said Suleman Iddrisu of Tamale College of Education, ACCRA, Ghana while signing the MOU between the two institutions.

 

The two governments of India and Ghana have already signed treaty to support each other in the field of art and culture including education. This is in continuation to the same arrangements.

 

Tamale CoE was opened in 1958 with the motto ‘Ora et Labora’ by the first president of the Republic of Ghana. Sixty female pioneer students were enrolled in the college that year, and it remained a female institution until 1977. Tamale Training College has the vision to become a leading institution for the professional training of well disciplined, dedicated and academically qualified teachers for Ghana.

AAA Declared Dr. Sarojini Naidu Now An International Award

New Delhi: The fourth edition of Dr. Sarojini Naidu National Award for Women has been converted and upgraded into an International Award for Working Women to develop and promote strong relations with the people of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

 

The awards are part and parcel of 6th Global Literary Festival 2020 to be held from 17th to 19th September on web. Large number of programs has been designed. The festival will work as the show window of Indian literature.

 

Around sixty countries are going to participate through their representatives in India and abroad. This time awards will also be given to women working outside India. Participation from United Kingdom, United States of America, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Panama and other countries have already received.

 

The list of programs will soon be out on the website. More than six lakh people have been informed about the Global Literary festival till now. International Women’s Film Forum is jointly working with the award function and AAFT University supporting the show.

Dr. Igor Polikha Ambassador of Ukraine to India and the People of Ukraine on the  occasion of celebration of National Day which falls on 24th August,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. 

 

More than 17 bilateral agreements have been signed between India and Ukraine, including agreements on Co-operation in Science and Technology, Foreign Office Consultation, Co-operation in Space Research, Avoidance of Double Taxation and Promotion and Protection of Investments. 

 

The India Ukraine trade relation and economic co-operation has developed on the basis the long-standing friendship between the two countries. In March, 1992 the Treaty on Friendship and Co-operation was signed between India and Ukraine, providing a major boost to India-Ukraine trade relations.

4th Edition of Dr. Sarojini Naidu National Award For Working Women Announced

 
 

 

New Delhi: The 4th edition of most prestigious National award after the name of great freedom fighter, national leader and poetess Dr. Sarojini Naidu for the Working women has been announced by Asian Academy of Arts, a three decades old organization, under the leadership of world-renowned art promoter Dr. Sandeep Marwah. 

 

The awards were instituted way back in 2016 to appreciate and promote all those women who have done commendable work in their respective fields and immerged as leaders in society. It is also meant for those women who all are sincerely involved in bringing change to the society and running social organizations. 

 

Earlier the awards were presented to women achievers during Global Literary Festival Noida in the grounds of Marwah Studios Film City Noida. This time award function will be online during 6th Global Literary Festival 2020 from 17th to 19th September.

 Raipur: Dr. Sandeep Marwah  Chancellor of the most exclusive and popular media University AAFT declared that, ”AAFT University will start a chapter on renowned film maker Manmohan Desai who has directed large number of hits in India. It will be our privileged to prepare a research paper on him,” at the webinar organized by ICMEI –International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to study the legendary filmmaker.

 

Manmohan Desai directed some of the most popular films like Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, Mard, Coolie, Naseeb, Suhaag, Amar Akbar Anthony, Chacha Bhatija, Dharamveer, Parvarish, Bhai Ho To Aisa and many more.

 

Present on the occasion publisher and editor of Film Information Komal Nahata spoke about his films and said that, ”each film of Man Ji is like a piece of Art. His films are very close to reality with best of the star cast of those times. He has always repeated his actors as the repo between the director and actors matters a lot,”

 

“I am so thankful to God for making me the son of a great film maker Manmohan Desai. He has been not only my father, but also a real guru and mentor. I have learned a lot from him. His way of working is a lesson for every one. You have to love and enjoy your work,” said Ketan Desai renowned film producer and director.

 

The attraction of the webinar was the forth generation of Desai, Pooja Desai, grand daughter of Manmohan Desai and great grand daughter of Kikubhai Desai who joined from USA, learning cinema and said that we all are proud of  Manmohan Desai,  we have to bring back his cinema into life and to this generation to learn how to make a popular films,”

 

Renowned film Director Ashok Tyagi took the charge of research on films of Manmohan Desai and announced a complete books and films library at AAFT.

 

The session was full of questions and answers on professional and personal life of the filmmaker. Ramesh Meer master on special effects also shared some experiences of those times.

 

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of the University announced special awards for Komal Nahata and Ketan Desai for their sincere contribution to Indian Cinema. Pooja Desai was honored with contribution to the Digital World.

“AAFT is one of the best institutions in the World as far as film, television and media education is concerned. With an experience of 27 years in media education, we will be able to enhance our current courses and can launch more courses of different duration time to come. No body can compete with the qualifications of AAFT,” said Prof. Alima Dorj of Ulaanbaatar Erdem University, Mongolia while signing the MOU.

 

“We are happy to join hands with Mongolian University.  We are already associated to the Republic of Mongolia through H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India  in New Delhi. Recently we have also created Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum to promote relation between two countries. The efforts have been blessed by H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga President of Mongolia personally during his visit to New Delhi,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

To confront those crises and challenges, their root causes must be addressed by promoting and defending a shared spirit of human solidarity that takes many forms — the simplest of which is friendship,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations and President ICMEI in a joint meeting at web.

ICMEI- International National Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University, WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation and IFTRC-International Film And Television Research Centre celebrated International Friendship Day on 2nd August to mark its presence in the Global scene of promoting love, peace and unity through art and culture.

“Through friendship — by accumulating bonds of camaraderie and developing strong ties of trust — we can contribute to the fundamental shifts that are urgently needed to achieve lasting stability, weave a safety net that will protect us all, and generate passion for a better world where all are united for the greater good,” added Dr. Marwah.

The International Day of Friendship is an initiative that follows on the proposal made by UNESCO defining the Culture of Peace as a set of values, attitudes and behaviors. The UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities, proclaimed it in 2011.

New Delhi: “It was in 2018, we were the first one in India to announce the National level award after the name of our former Prime Minister Bharat Rattan Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the people who have contributed immensely towards the promotion of Indian art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

 

The award titled as Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award For Promotion of Art And Culture was constituted by AAA-Asian Academy of Arts in association with AAFT University of Media And Arts and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry immediately after the death of former Prime Minister to mark respect to his untiring contribution to the nation and art and culture of India, he himself was also a well renowned poet.

 

The awards are presented during the Global Literary Festival Noida happens in the grounds of Marwah Studios at Film city Noida. This time owing to Covid 19 the awards will be presented through web event. Global Literary Festival has been planned from 17th to 19th September 2020. The high profiled jury shall soon declare the name of the awardees of 2020.

AAFT School of Photography Celebrated World Photography Day


World Photography Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: AAFT School of Photography in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated World Photography Day, a day to remember the art, craft,  science and history of Photography.

 

“A picture is equal to thousand words probably everyone knows about it. Then why not to write these thousand words in best of manner, keeping that in mind we decided to open a AAFT school of Photography and educate and train students in their most passionate interest and hobby,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah addressing large number of students and professionals from the same fraternity.

 

 

“Photography is the story I fail to put into words. In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do,” added Dr. Marwah who repeated some quotes said by legendary photographers.

 

Dr. Marwah also informed about the different Photography exhibitions and competitions he has been conducting during last twenty-seven years and during Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week and Global Festival of Journalism.

World Humanitarian Day Observed at WPDRF

 

New Delhi; World Peace Development And Research Foundation in association with AAFT University of Media And Arts observed World Humanitarian Day on 19th of August.

“On World Humanitarian Day the world commemorates humanitarian workers killed and injured in the course of their work, and we honour all aid and health workers who continue, despite the odds, to provide life-saving support and protection to people most in need,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a webinar to observed WHD.

This year World Humanitarian Day comes as the world continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic over recent months. Aid workers are overcoming unprecedented access hurdles to assist people in humanitarian crises in 54 countries, as well as in a further nine countries which have been catapulted into humanitarian need by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This day was designated in memory of the 19 August 2003 bomb attack on the Canal Hotel in Baghdad, Iraq, killing 22 people, including the chief humanitarian in Iraq, Sergio Vieira de Mello. In 2009, the United Nations General Assembly formalized the day as World Humanitarian Day.
