AAFT Alumnus Pratham Jolly Receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award






New Delhi: Acclaimed Screenwriter, Pratham Jolly made a big splash when he recently received Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival 2015 Award for Best Screenplay in ‘Kya Dilli Kya Lahore’,  film set in post- Independence period.  Born and raised in Saket, Pratham studied Cinematography at Asian Academy of Film & Television.

An avid traveler and writer, works of Aamir Khan have always inspired him.
Worked as an assistant cameraman and still photographer in blockbuster films like Singh is King, Golmaal Returns and Hattrick, working under different directors has been a learning experience.
“Film Schools provides life experience and also gives you the unique ability to learn and work in all of the different aspects of filmmaking”, said Pratham Jolly.

AAFT Alumna Ridhima Sud bags a role in DDD



Noida Film City: The Asian Alumni Association, treasure sharing the stories of our graduates who have made a difference. Ridhima Sud is a pass out of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT).  She has been associated with modeling and has bagged a role in a Hindi feature film, ‘Dil Dhakadne Do’. The film features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Shefali Chaya, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.

Dil Dhadakne Do is a comedy-drama film directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Ridhima stars opposite Vikrant Massey in the film. 

“Ridhima’s outstanding performance in the film has made me proud. The destiny of hard work is always success and she is sure to become a star in years to come”, said Sandeep Marwah, President of Asian Academy of Films & Televisions.

Sandeep Marwah Produced Short Films For United Nations

Eight films titled ‘A letter to my SON’ directed by Anand Mohan, ‘The paper plane’ by Kritika Singh, ‘Theist’ by Feroz Ahmed, ‘Comeback’ by Lovashish, ‘Jeene do’ by Rupal, ‘Pankh’ by Jyoti Kaushik, Steps towards a greener earth by Namgyal Tsewang and  ‘Kishmish’ by Punkaj Dubey.

Sandeep Marwah has produced the films under the banner Marwah Films And Video Production. The students of AAFT have contributed from acting to direction including cinematography, editing, sound and production.

ICMEI And Country of Togo Will Start Cultural Assimilation

H.E.Koffi Akakpo visited all the departments of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. A special program on Radio Noida was also recorded. ICMEI will announce Togo Day to project documentaries on Togo for the students of Cinema and Mass Communication at AAFT.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E.Koffi Akakpo with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.


AAFT School of Fashion Join Hands with Italian University




Noida Film City: AAFT School of Fashion has upgraded its syllabus by joining hands with IECEN a body created by Polytechnic University of Milan the first ten best fashion Universities of the World.

iECEN  has developed module  to support the existing department of Fashion & Design in AAFT& ASMS. It includes numerous international visiting guest faculties to overlook the course from Europe and to exchange expertise and experience from some of best global schools.

“There will be multiple workshop/ seminar sessions during the course supervised by international guest faculties from fashion, interior, jewellery design we have academic and industry people, designer labels from Milan who will visit during course to conduct on hand workshop to lend there expertise to students” said Pankaj Gupta representative of IECEN in India.

CGF 2015 Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah

ICMEI Join Hands With 4th Delhi International Film Festival

ICMEI And Country of Bulgaria Will Promote Art Together

8th Global Film Festival Noida 2015 Announced



Noida Film City: The management of International Film And Television Club has decided to have the next Global Film Festival Noida 2015 on 18th to 20th November.

The film festival, which has created a wonderful niche for itself all over the world has been rated as “the most happening film festival of the World”.

The last festival had 52 events, 500 screenings, 22 halls and more than 15000 footfall in three days.

“International Film And Television Club will start working for its next edition from today onwards to make it once again as one of the most interesting festival on earth” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Club.

ICMEI International Media Summit on 28th August Fixed




New Delhi: “There is a need to highlight the media and entertainment trade between two giants of the World that is India and USA. An International Media Summit has been designed to bring this relationship to public and people from the industry” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

IACC-The Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Marwah Studio are supporting this business cause. The 28th August has been fixed at Hyatt Regency New Delhi as its venue.

The Summit will have a formal inauguration followed by two technical sessions where discussions and question answers will be part of these sessions.

Some renowned personalities have been requested to be part of this summit from all over India and abroad. The meeting was attended by large number of members of International & National Coordination Committee including Chairperson Babeetta Sakxena Secretary General Ashok Tyagi and ASMS Director Dr. A.K. The Shirdi Sai baba temple grossed Rs 1,009 crore in cash collections from grateful devotees in the last four year.50 Percent of the collection is given as donations. Some more money is to be spent in beautifying the place Marwah suggested.

Lehar Presentation Inspector Matadin Chand Par Super Success at Delhi

The play is based on Shri Harishankar Prasad’s Short story by the same name. After the rigorous practice and rehearsals the students of Lehar Theatre Group of AAFT and ASMS brought the play to the professional level.

Theatre adds a lot to your personality, confidence, speech, pronunciation and acting skills.  The subject of acting is the part of every course in Asian School of Media Studies & Asian Academy of Film And Television. The show will be repeated in due course of time on public demand.

ICMEI Join Hands With Country of Togo



 New Delhi: A delegation of ICMEI comprising of President Sandeep Marwah and Secretary General Ashok Tyagi visited His Excellency Koffi Akakpo, Charge de Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Togo at New Delhi.

Sandeep Marwah explained to His Excellency that International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry [ICMEI] is the only chamber in the world, which is exclusively devoted to media and entertainment industry and is driven by the mission of uniting the world through art and culture.

Koffi Akakpo said,” French dubbed versions of Indian Cinema is extremely popular in Togo and we are open to joint ventures”.

Sandeep Marwah, President ICMEI said that offering scholarship to a deserving person from Togo for a short-term course at AAFT could make a beginning.  A short film can also be sponsored for a film director from Togo.

Sandeep Marwah invited His Excellency to visit ICMEI campus located at Film City, Noida so that he can see the infrastructure and the pool of knowledge available to the chamber.
