Tashkent: “!986 I designed this project of Noida Film City, 1987 it got its clearance, 1988 allotments were made and 1991 the first studio of North India under the name and banner of Marwah Studios came into existence and no looking back,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a master class talking about his journey and Indian Film and Television Industry of India at Tashkent International Film Festival in Uzbekistan.

“Talking about the scale of Indian media and entertainment Industry Marwah informed that India is the largest film producing country in the World. “We make 2000 feature films in 28 official languages. There are 10,000 theatres and approximately 15 million people watch cinema every day. We sell 5 billion cinema tickets every year. Nearly 10 million people are working in media and entertainment industry. This is the sixth biggest industry in the country. We have 950 Television Channels, 325 Radio Stations ad 40,000 Newspapers and Magazines. The turnover of our industry is touching 1400 billion rupees and expected to be 1800 billion rupees by end of next year,” informed Sandeep Marwah answering many questions from the audience.

Noida Film City is growing very well. We have 16 studios; 350 Channels being broadcast to 162 countries. 17000 media professionals are working here, and cascading effect is that 150,000 people are earning their bread from this city.

Marwah Studios has churned out 4500 television programs for 50 channels, being associated with 125 feature films and made around 5000 training films. Asian Academy of Film and Television the first private film school of the country educated and trained 19000 media professionals from 145 countries of the World and given largest number of celebrities to India.

Marwah Films and Video Production has produced 3000 short films and given opportunity to more than 10,000 media professions to make films at the cost of studios. Marwah studios has given 10 major festivas in a year to the Glamour World including Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival Global Festival of Journalism and Global Fashion Week where Uzbekistan has also been partner every year.

Sandeep Marwah answered all the questions asked by young film makers. Marwah also invited them to join Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum for more benefits from Marwah Studios. The event was coordinated by Shahrukh Mirza.

Tashkent: “I extend my gratitude to Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri the former Prime Minister of India, one of the most loveable man from Indian Politics. The visit to Tashkent would have been incomplete without visiting the Lal Bahadur Shastri Monument created here in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on his interaction with press on the occasion of Tashkent International Film Festival 2021.

“I must congratulate the Government of Uzbekistan for reviving the festival as Tashkent Film Festival had been rated earlier as one of the most prestigious festivals of the World. A beautiful tag line -The Pearl of The Silk Road has been very well added to the show,” added Marwah.

Lal Bahadur Shastri promoted the Green Revolution in India in 1965, which led to an increase in food grain production in India. His famous quote Jai Jawan Jai Kisan raised the level of prestige of forces and farmers in very short period of time. His tenure as the Prime Minister was only for 19 months. He died in Tashkent on January 11, 1966.

Tashkent: The second day was marked to India after the grand opening of Tashkent International Film Festival -‘The Pearl of The Silk Road’ at Alisher Navoi Cinema Palace Tashkent Uzbekistan. The show was stole by the renowned film, television and media personality Sandeep Marwah, the seven times World Record Holder in media, while addressing the international audience.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and founder Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, He is teacher to 19000 Media professionals and producer of 3000 short films. He believes in film tourism and Marwah Studios has attracted three million people from 145 countries of the World to Noida Film City including Uzbekistan.

Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum is trying the level best to develop and promote relation between the people of India and Uzbekistan through films, television, art, and culture. Tashkent: Renowned film and television personality and Chair for Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum Sandeep Marwah was the special invitee at the Tashkent International Film Festival 2021 open today here at Alisher Navoi Cinema Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

“It is great pleasure to attend the film festival almost after two years of Pandemic  in any country to that scale. The excitement and enthusiasm is at its peak. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet film makers and artist from almost 15 countries including USA, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Israel, India, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah founder President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“It is the beautiful amalgamation of cinema and other arts. The grand opening of the festival won the hearts of every film person from so many countries. Music , dance and singing added colours to the show. Tom we will enjoy the India day,” added Marwah.

The festival will move till 3rd October. Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum will highlight all the points of film festival. Large number of members from  Indian Film Fraternity could be seen at the festival. Sandeep Marwah was accompanied by Mrs Reena Marwah.

4th Edition of Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Art and Culture Presented at 7th GLFN

4th Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art and Culture


New Delhi: The most prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Awards for Promotion of Art and Culture were presented to the prominent people of the society who all have contributed enough to the growth of Indian art and culture on the third day of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021.

“It is our pleasure and honour to present these very special and esteemed awards after the name of a statesman, former Prime Minister of India and a poet himself to the people who have given their life in promoting Indian Art and culture and are the real Ambassadors of our country. This is the fourth edition of the award ceremony and already these awards carrying highest value in India and abroad,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and Festival President.

A Lifetime achievement Award for contribution to Theatre was handed over to the giant in Theatre Dr. Daya Prakash Sinha, who very well accepted the award and promised to be on the board of Asian Academy of Arts for every help.

“We have requested Laxmi Shankar Bajpai to conduct the interesting program of Mushaira, this is the most awaited event of the day,” said Sushil Bharti thanking all the poets present from different parts of the country. A book titled “Prem Yahin Kahin Hai’ written by Sushil Bharti was released by the dignities.

Dr. Rehman Mussawwir, Mamta Kiran, Nazim Naqvi, Dr Khalid Alvi, Aleena Itrat, Pratap Somvanshi and Laxmi Shankar Bajpai won the hearts of the people by expressing and narrating their popular poems in Hindi and Urdu. Renowned art promoter Dr. Mridula Tanddon presided over the function.

Urdu poetry took the final decisive position in 17th century when Mughals  had established their dominion. It was thought by the legends of early India that Shairy should be recited in a gathering of minds with sufficient understanding of the language, so that they may enjoy, criticise, and ultimately appreciate what was recited. They prophesied that this would lead to development of Urdu Shairy, as people will be able to get the ideas of practical poetry in accordance with the demand of public interests and of public betterment informed Dr Rehman Mussawwir.

New Delhi: “Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan was an Indian philosopher and statesman who served as the second President of India. One of the most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy, Radhakrishnan believed that “teachers should be the best minds in the country”. Since 1962, his birthday has been celebrated in India as Teacher’s Day on 5 September every year,” said Sushil Bharti Festival Director remembering the great leader at the beginning of session on the third day of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021.

“Literary non-fiction is a type of writing which uses similar techniques as fiction to create an interesting piece of writing about real events. Common literary examples of nonfiction include expository, argumentative, functional, and opinion pieces; essays on art or literature; biographies; memoirs; journalism; and historical, scientific, technical, or economic writings including electronic ones,” session initiated by Sandeep Marwah President of Festival.

“Most nonfiction is written to express or inform. If the author’s purpose is to express, the concepts expressed are always based on true, real-life situations. Because of this, one could argue all nonfiction serves to inform the reader, as well,” added Dr. Prem Janmejay a well-known writer.

“Few points you should remember such as find your story, Identify your “why, Identify your target audience, do your research, piece together the narrative, set manageable goals for yourself,” added Kumar Anupam of Sahitya Academy. New Delhi: September 16th was designated by the United Nations General Assembly as World Ozone Day. UN defines ozone layer as a fragile shield of gas that protects the Earth from the harmful portion of the rays of the Sun, thus helping preserve life on the planet,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GLFN and asked dignities to release the poster to create awareness about the same during the third day of Global Literary Festival Noida 2021.

The event was to high light the creative work of photography by the student of AAFT School of Photography. A wonderful presentation was given on well-designed application in the presence of dignities who all appreciated each and every picture projected online.

“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce. A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective,” said Sandeep Marwah and requested the dignities to inaugurate the exhibition.

5th Edition of Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women

New Delhi: The 5th edition of Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women brought light to the 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 when one hundred prominent women were given award for their untiring contribution to the society from India and abroad.

The award was constituted by Asian Academy of Arts in association with AAFT University of Media and Arts, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and a powerful women organization called International Women’s Film Forum six years back in a board meeting to highlight, support and honor women who all have contributed to the nation through their services to different strata of life and works of humanity.

“Women is the store of Wealth be it an education, humanity, social science, love and affection, family bonding and so on. She is the master of overall development be it at home or outside, she is a motivator, her presence bring enthusiasm in life and she is the one who teaches Nationalism. I salute all the winners of the prestigious Dr Sarojini Naidu Award,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and      Chair for SNIAWW.

“Females are the most beautiful, gorgeous creatures in the whole world. And I think that we are gorgeous no matter how we look like. You don’t have to play masculine to be a strong woman,” said H.E. Matsepo Molise-Ramakoae Minister of foreign Affairs and Internal Relations, Government of Lesotho in the capacity of Chief Guest of the show.

New Trends in Fiction Writing Discussed at 7th Global Literary Festival

Character, setting, plot, conflict, point of view and theme are six key elements of writing fiction,” initiated Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in the seminar to discuss the new Trends in Fiction on the second day of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021.

“The writer sometimes has to live life as the character of his fiction or live with the character to write the fiction so that the story should look like a real one,” said Tanmay Dubey renowned fiction writer addressing to the question by another panelist.

“Fiction is defined as something that is not true. The example of a fiction is a book that is not based on a true story. Anything made-up or imagined as a statement, a story,” said Ira Tak popular fiction writer.

New Delhi: Photographs are the everlasting memories. One picture is 1000 words. Photography is a way of feeling, way of touching and way of loving. The best part is that they are loyal to you as they don’t change ever though the person or the place you had clicked can change drastically,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of photography exhibition on the second day of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 202.

“I have been in photography for many years. It is my hobby and I do spare time from my work to click pictures. When you click they are ordinary when you see them they look rare. Photography is an art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place,” said H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India while explaining his pieces of art.

“I love photographs. I enjoy finding out the depth in every picture clicked and hanged    at exhibition. These pictures are out of the World. Photographs are the base of every creative work,” said K.L.Ganju Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India.

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures,” added Arijit  Bhattacharya Serial Entrepreneur Angel investor and founder World Leader Summit.

New Delhi: The second edition of Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Award for the veteran writers was the part of 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021on the first day itself.

“If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have time to write simple as that. You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and creation of different words on a page. Writing   comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write. Read thousand books and your words will flow like a river,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 at the award function.

The event started by honouring Lifetime Achievement Award to distinguished writer Pratap Sehgal who has been in writing for more than fifty years. He is the celebrated name in Hindi play wright.

Renowned Poets and fiction writers Pankaj Mitr, Rakesh Tiwari, Ashok Arora, Neeraj Neer, Vibha Rani, Jaywardhan (J.P.Singh), Kumar Anupam and Gunveer Rana were honored with prestigious Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Award for their untiring contribution to the literary World who all were individually introduced by the festival Director Sushil Bharti.

All the popular writers spoke their heart out and thanked Asian Academy of Arts and its allied agencies for bestowing upon this prominent and esteemed award. Later a a book titled ‘Khawabon Ke Saat Rang’ written by Alok Shukla was released by the dignities.

Known writer Jeet Bhatt and many other writers attended the session along with the young writers and film makers from Asian Academy of Film and Television. The event was supported by World Peace Development and Research Foundation, International Public Broadcasting Forum, Radio Noida and MSTV.

The Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Award has been titled after the name of  a well-known Nationalist Late Shri Suraj Parkash Marwah, a freedom fighter from Peshawar who had sacrificed a lot to promote love, peace and unity through art and culture.

Hindi Diwas, celebrated on September 14 every year, aims to raise awareness about the language and also commemorate the event when it was adopted as one of the official language of India. The Constituent Assembly of India had, in 1949, recognised and adopted Hindi as the official language of the country,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts in the opening remarks at Hindi Diwas celebration during 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021

 “Indian population in Cambodia is though small in number but it remains an intimate and close-knit group that has integrated well into local society. popular Hindi soap operas and films are shown by local TV channels dubbed in local Khmer language. Hindi newspapers are also available. It is a proud privileged for Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum to be part of this 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021,” said H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India.

“All of us must use Hindi as our language. You should never feel hesitant in speaking your language. Our own prime Minister speaks in Hindi even though when he is on international platforms. Your growth depends on how well you can commute in your own language. Hindi  is one of the most popular language in the World,” said H.E. Akhilesh Mishra Designated Ambassador of India to Ireland.

“Feel proud of your nation Hindustan and your language Hindi, It is sad that it is not Hindi but  English is the language of status. We all have to work together to bring prestige to Hindi language. This is for the first time traditional courses like Engineering and Medical are going to be taught in Hindi under New Education Policy. Reading habits are essential to keep the light of Hindi on,” said Kunwar Vijendra Singh Chancellor Shobit University.

“Hindi is an Indo Aryan Language. It is the main language in India . About 800 million people speak Hindi in India. The Devanagari script is used to write Hindi. Previously Hindi was known as Hindui. Hindi developed from Sanskrit, the ancient language of India. Hindi started to develop in the 7th century  as “Apabhramsha” and became stable by the 10th century.  Dialects of Hindi include: Avadhi, Braj, Bhojpuri, Bundeli, Bagheli, Chhattisgarhi, Dogri and Marwari,” said Ashok Kumar Sharma and gave a wonderful detailed speech on history of Hindi.

Tashkent: Well known film, television and media personality and founder of Noida Film City Sandeep Marwah has been invited by the Tashkent International Film Festival to be held from 28th September to 3rd October 2021. The organizer of the film festival is the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan.

New Delhi: The complete managing committee of Ayodhya Ki Ram Leela today met the renowned media personality and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts Dr. Sandeep Marwah at Marwah Studios Noida Film City to invite him to be part of the forth coming Ram Leela at Ayodhya.

“The Ramayana is one of the largest ancient epics in world literature. It consists of nearly 24,000 verses, divided into seven kāṇḍas, the first and the seventh being later additions. It belongs to the genre of Itihasa, narratives of past events, interspersed with teachings on the goals of human life,” said Sandeep Marwah.

The Ramayana teaches us that not only is it possible, but it is also necessary to ensure victory over evil forces. Lord Ram is the epitome of kindness, compassion, and love. His wisdom and patience made it possible for him to follow his inner good without worrying about the loss of luxuries and kingship. “We all must keep in mind the SDG- Sustainable Development Goals suggested by United Nation to bring out the best in the given resources. We must bring back Enthusiasm & Entertainment to education. Communication, Commitment and Coordination is now part of the syllabus. Later Dr. Marwah was honored with the Dr. Sarvepalli National Award for creating seven World Records in media training and bringing AAFT as the first ten best film schools of the World. AAFT has been the case study in 27 countries of the World.

“The education must bring excitement to the student as well as to the teacher. It should be planned in the most entertaining way. The education should bring development in the child and also develop the strong determination and dedication in the nature of student. Keeping in mind the Sustainable Development Goals as propagated by United Nations, learn to teach optimum in the most economical manner within the given resources of the establishment,” added Dr Marwah.

Later Dr Marwah was presented with Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan International Award 2021 for being a case study in 27 Countries of the World. AAFT education has been also a case study while formulating New Education Policy of India. Dr Marwah has created seven World Records in film, television and media education.
