Association For Asian Union Extended Its Activities




Noida 31st August: The management of Association For Asian Union resolved in their regular meeting that it will be now called Association of Asian Union And Asia- Pacific Cooperation which was agreed by all informed Sandeep Marwah President of AAU. The meeting took place at Marwah Studio at Noida Film City.

 “Since March 2015 the scope of activities of the NGO has been increased to include Asia-Pacific Co-operation. the main reason for this is that Asia of present dose not have too many large and strong Democracies while progress of Democracy in Asia is the key to an Asian union and world Peace” said Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal founder Chairman of the organization.

Asia-Pacific, which includes countries like USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand has strong Democracies. Co-operation with Asia-Pacific will help in progress of Democracy in Asia and this in turn will lead to an Asian Union and to a peaceful Global Society.

Bulgarian Film Festival Inaugurated at Marwah Studio




Noida: “Bulgaria may not be a large film producing country but some of the quality films it has given to the World of Cinema. I am thankful to ICMEI for taking an initiative to have this festival. It is just the beginning of our strong relations between the two countries India and Bulgaria” said H.E. Petko Doykov Ambassador of Bulgaria in India inaugurating Bulgarian Film Festival at Marwah Studio at Noida Film City.

“ International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry will leave no stone unturned to develop and promote relationship with Bulgaria through art and culture to spread the word of love, peace and unity” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio & ICMEI.

The festival was attended by Sangram Shirke President of Western India Film Producers Association also he is the President of Film Craft and Treasurer of Film Federation of India who promised full support to AAFT and ICMEI in its growth and expansion of film, TV, Media and cultural business.

Dharmendra Mehra the Secretary General of Film Makers Combine now also part of ICMEI assured another big meet at Mumbai with Bulgarian Ambassador to promote Bulgarian locations to Indian Film makers.


Renowned filmmaker Rahul Mittra of Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster fame spoke about the importance of film festivals in the industry and appreciated the efforts of Sandeep Marwah who has established film city, studio and a world-class film school in this part of the World.

Kapil Gupta Country Head of PolyPlex Corporation, India also spoke on the subject. Later Marwah presented the life membership of International Film And Television Research Centre to the Ambassador and other distinguished guest. ICMEI International Media And Entertainment Summit Inaugurated



New Delhi 28th August: “ The role of media is very essential in developing economy. But it should not cross its limit. Entertainment has a very important place in our life we must appreciate the efforts of ICMEI to bring in International media summit at the right hour” said Shyam Jaju Senior Vice President BJP and State in charge for Delhi and Uttrakhand at the inauguration of summit at Hyatt Hotel in Delhi.

“ Comparing Indian media and entertainment industry of USA Dr. Lalit Bhasin President Delhi Indo American Chamber of Commerce said, “We have yet to grow at the level of American both quantity wise and quality wise,  We have to be more responsible in our action”.

Entertainment Tax Must Be Reduced to Promote Business In India



New Delhi 28th August: “India is the largest film producing country in the World. We make around 2000 films in a year. The turnover of the film industry is going to touch 12000 crore. The industry is surviving because the passionate people, they are deriving it to its best.” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at an International Media Summit at Hotel Hyatt, New Delhi.

‘Most of the films are not doing well; hardly we get our money back. 75 percent of the films are in losses. Many producers have stopped making films, as recovery is difficult. Government should understand the point of view of Producer who is the real entrepreneur,” said J.P.Chowksey President Film Federation of India.

“Every one who is working for cinema right from actors to spot boy gets their remuneration even before the release of the film. The producer is always at the risk. We need government support in reducing entertainment tax so that large number of people can watch cinema,” added T.P.Agarwal President Indian Motion Picture Producers Association.

“When there is no tax on cinema and other entertainment segments downloaded from internet why it should be on cinema at theatres where much more efforts are involved. Where film industry is helping so many other industries to grow simultaneously,” added Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

All the film organizations have joined hands together to pursue with the government to reduce the tax rates and bring all India entertainment tax at par to give same rebate to all the producers of the country.

Representatives of FFI, IMPPA, Film Craft, Western India Film Producers Association, Film Makers Combine will write a joint application to the Government very soon informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

ICMEI Honored Shatrughan Sinha For His Contribution to Entertainment




New Delhi: “Shatrughan Sinha is a well known Indian film actor and politician. Apart from being member of Rajya Sabha twice he was also Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare (Jan 2003-May 2004) and Shipping (Aug. 2004). He was elected to 15th Lok Sabha in 2009” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at International Summit at Hotel Hyatt.

“Shartughan Sinha’s contribution to Indian Cinema is enormous. A performer in around 200 films Shatrughan Sinha is the recipient of large number of prestigious awards,” addedAshok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

He is known for his super hit films like Kala Pathar, Guddi, Shan, Bombay to Goa, Khoon Bhari Maang, Dostana, Kalicharan and many more. He has worked with every renowned director, actor and technician of the industry.

Music Video Launched By Sandeep Marwah at AAFT




Noida: “The education and training at AAFT is strong enough to make new comer a full fledged professional to an extent that alumni can produce, direct, act, shoot, edit and design their own programs. Todays music release is one of the examples of this statement” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and Asian Education Group at the world release of music video HUMRAHI produced by group of AAFTians at Noida Film City.

“I am indebted to Asian Academy of Film And Television for every thing I have learned from this Temple of Cinema. This my first venture and it will follows many” said Shashi Prakash Chopra former student of 87th batch of AAFT bat and Producer of the music video.

Krishna Lalchandani who also performed the lead role in the video writes the lyrics. The film is directed and edited by Vijay Aryan of 87th batch.

Associate Dean & HOD Direction Mansoor Naqvi, Dean Acting Satish Anand and HOD Acting Yudhveer Dhaiya blessed the team.  A poster was also released on the occasion. Later the music video was screened for the students of 88th Batch.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Chairperson of Indo Sudan Cultural Forum




Noida: The organization- Indo Sudan Cultural Forum was created by the Ambassador of Sudan to India H.E. Abdul Mohammad Abdul Haleem Mohammad in the year 2009 during his tenure to India and Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the first Chairperson of the organization.

During all these years The forum was associated with different other cultural organizations and major international events like Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, World Peace Conferences, International Cooperative Movements and so on.

New York: “It is the best way to produce a powerful film when talent of two best film schools of east and west meet and team together for a film production” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and AAFT inviting former film and television students from Tisch School of Arts of New York University    during his visit to Kanbar Institute of Film And TV in New York.

 “I recommend two students this time Riya Agarwal of film studies and Sejal Kothari of Photography Department to be part of the film to be produced by Marwah Studio in India” said Prof. Karl Bardosh of KIFT confidentially.

Team of The Love Is Forever at Marwah Studio




Noida Film City: The cast and crew of Hindi feature film The Love Is Forever visited Marwah Studio and a special interaction program was designed with the media students of ASMS- Asian School of Media Studies.

“We are honored to welcome Padmashri Hans Raj Hans who has done a commendable work of touching all segments of music, be it a singing composition or music direction. He has contributed a lot to folk culture and sufi music” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio introduced him to the audience.

The film is produced by Renu Bala Panchal, Directed by Honey Vee , Music Composed by Vinay Prasanna and vinod Thapliya and sung by Hans Raj Hans.

“I am a music lover and for me Music is love.  Music is the path that “leads to God” answered Han Raj Hans during question answer session after the formal function of the film The Love Is For Ever.  “Urdu is the most beautiful and floweriest language but it can be preserved before it dies only through lyrics of song and day to day conversation, the way I have learned,” added Raj Hans.

Global Yog Alliance Instrument in Declaring World Yoga Day

Varanasi:  The Branch office of Indo American Chamber of Commerce at Varanasi will soon have a media and entertainment meeting at Varanasi informed Arun Kumar Agarwal Branch Chairman of IACC.

The development took place during the meeting of North India Council of IACC. Sandeep Marwah Chairperson Media And Entertainment Committee and visiting member of the National executive council of IACC at Varanasi supported the decision confirmed Shah former Branch President.

Sandeep Marwah also offered to link up the media workshop for the members of IACC to be conducted by Asian Academy of Film And Television, Marwah Studios.TV and Radio Noida.

International Youth Day Observed at AAFT



Noida: On 17 December 1999,the United Nations General Assembly endorsed the recommendation made by the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth that 12 August be declared International Youth Day.

“We have to put the youth energy to its best use. The Clean India subject of ours has been adopted by our honorable Prime Minister and has been declared as a National Campaign. 69th Independence Day Celebration At Marwah Studio



Noida: 69th Independence Day celebration took place at Marwah Studio with great pomp and show. More than 1000 people participated in this energetic event specially organized to remember those people who have shed their blood to get independence in 1947.

Tourism Is Key to Success- Dr. Mahesh Sharma



New Delhi: “Time has come when Indian tourists should realize that India in itself has enormous tourist destinations which they can explore even before moving out of India” guided Dr. Mahesh Sharma Minister of State with Independent Charge of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to the bigwigs of Hotel and Tourism Industry on the occasion of 9th Annual Today’s Traveller Award function at Taj Palace.

“We are trying to bring best coordination between the culture, tourism and civil aviation ministry to provide best conveniences and facilities to Indian and foreign tourist” Minister added while releasing the Today’s Traveller coffee table book.

“We are inducing Indian nationals to believe in internal tourism and come “forward with suggestions to improve on the tourism in India” added Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited.

Some of the prominent people including Gen. K.M. Seth former Governor of Chhattisgarh, V.K.Duggal Former Governor of Manipur,  Sohan Singh Thandal Tourism Minister of Punjab, Subhash Goyal President IATO, and Bhupinder Bhalla  Jt. Secretary Ministry of Commerce were present there at the award function.

Later Dr. Mahesh Sharma handed over the prestigious Today’s Traveller Awards to the selected people of the industry for their untiring contribution to the industry. Kamal and Kewal Gill hosted the event.
