Marwah Extended Best Wishes on Republic Day


New Delhi: “I extend my heartiest congratulations to all the citizens of Republic of India on this auspicious day of 26th January. My best wishes to each and every one for a bright and a strong future,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a function addressing media persons.

“The nation has given us every thing what you can dream in life. Now it is our turn to give back to the nation,” added Marwah also President of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

India became independent of the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947. India did not have a permanent constitution at this time. The drafting committee presented the constitution's first draft to the national assembly on November 4, 1947. The national assembly signed the final English and Hindi language versions of the constitution on January 24, 1950.

India's constitution came into effect on Republic Day, January 26, 1950. This date was chosen as it was the anniversary of Purna Swaraj Day, which was held on January 26, 1930.The constitution gave India's citizens the power to govern themselves by choosing their own government informed Marwah.

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship organized Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah in the second part of the summit introduced the need of cellphone cinema. “We invite you all to be part of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema also. We are expecting more than 600 films from all over the World. Every one will be given participation certificates and there are many different awards for winners too,” said Marwah.

Being in Film City Noida and Marwah Studios is like dream come true. We could not believe that we will be able to see and meet people like Sandeep Marwah,” said Ms Maria Del Rosario Quinonez Ruiz delegate from Guatemala. “ We have learned the culture of India from Indian films, now we are sharing dice with Father of Cellphone Cinema which is like a dream,” added Khabiba Nazarieva from Tajikistan.

“I am feeling that if we would have not been here our trip would have been incomplete. There is so much to learn from India,” said Ms Winnie Muoki from Kenya. “It is one of my luckiest day that I could have been the part of this summit,” added Mrs Sabrina OmarAbdulla, from Tanzania.


The delegates were representing countries like Afghanistan, Algeria, Ethiopia, Kiribati, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Swaziland, Uganda, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cote D’ Ivoire, Guatemala, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania and India. Later a poster of forth coming 11th edition of festival of cellphone cinema was released by the delegates.

Noida: A grand event was recorded at Noida Film City when International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Marwah Studios in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

“It has been 12 years we have been celebrating International Festival of Cellphone Cinema. The 11th edition is going to be on 12th February 2018. Global Cellphone Cinema Summit is like a curtain raiser to the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“It is a golden opportunity for all of us to be part of Global Cellphone Cinema Summit in India. Never I have attended an event like this,” said Ms Zarour Assia delegate from Algeria while lighting the ceremonial lamp. “We are here in India for the first time, the culture of India is so inviting that we would love to be back soon,” added Venuste Niyirora from Rwanda.

“GCPC Summit has given us ample knowledge to study further and be a part of the festival next time,” said Greno Wanda delegate from Malawi. “ Indian cinema has always impressed us. We are fond of Hindi films and now we are fascinated by the concept of Cellphone Cinema,” said Ms Adibahon Haitmatova from Kyrgyzstan.

The first session was an introductory session of the summit. Sandeep Marwah was nominated for the Chair and Marwah gave ample knowledge about Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media and Media Education to the participants from all over the World.

The delegates were representing countries like Afghanistan, Algeria, Ethiopia, Kiribati, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Swaziland, Uganda, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cote D’ Ivoire, Guatemala, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania and India.

All the delegates presented their views and share their experiences one by one. Radio Noida and MSTV recorded the event. The delegates proposed the name of Sandeep Marwah for the title “Father of Cellphone Cinema”.

Noida: The renowned international media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios honored and titled as “The Father of Cellphone Cinema” by the 44 delegates from 24 Countries of World during Global Cellphone Cinema Summit at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah is the first person to shoot film on cellphone in India around 12 years back. He is also the first person to start the first ever International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in the World.

It was long ago when my friend, Prof. Karl Bardosh from New York and myself shot a film on mobile. it was shot half in Noida and half in New York. Then we also planned a first ever festival of films shot by mobile phone, then no looking back,” said Sandeep Marwah talking to the house full auditorium foreign delegates and film makers from all over India.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized the Cellphone Cinema Summit in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship, Government of India. New Delhi: The management and organization of Narayani Sahitya Academy honored Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios with a prestigious award for his untiring contribution to the promotion of literature.

Sandeep Marwah has been in education for more than 25 years and literature has been always a part of all the courses running in the campus. Dubai: “We are planning for the sixth Global Festival of Journalism on 12th February 2018. International Journalism Centre will be the host and I am happy that the concept has picked up so well,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre at Hotel Address Boulevard at Dubai while talking to the press.

Seven years back Sandeep Marwah declared 12th February as the International Day of Journalism as there was no date marked for the journalism in the United Nations calendar. It has been now seven years this concept has picked up very well and much organization all over the World started celebrating 12th February as the International Day of Journalism.

NAI Honors Family of Armed Forces on Silver Jubilee Day

NAI Silver Jubilee Celebration at New Delhi


New Delhi: Newspapers Association of India celebrated its silver jubilee with great pomp and show at the convention hall of NDMC at New Delhi.

The event started with the powerful speech by Sandeep Marwah patron of the organization and followed by the introduction and report of works by the General Secretary Vipin Gaur.

The management of NAI honored this time six families of the armed forces who all have shed their lives for the nation. “We are honored to honor these most important people of our country who have lost their men in uniform for the protection of our nation,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Manoj Tewari Member Parliament and Head Bhartiya Janata Party Delhi State presented the memento and cheques to the family members of departed souls.

“We all are working for the nation but the contribution given by these families cannot be expressed in words. It is the highest level of involvement,” added Manoj Tewari while talking to the audience in a jam-packed auditorium. A special salute was given to all the families present there.

11th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema


Noida: Large number of international organizations have joined hands with the 11th edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema to be held in the month of January,2018 at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Indo Wales Creative Forum, Indo Nigerian Film Association, Indo Cyprus Film And Cultural Forum, Indo Romania Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Czech Republic Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Nepal Cultural Forum, Indo Fiji Cultural Forum are now on the board to support and be a part of the festival.

Other organization like Indo South Africa Cultural Association, Indo Gabon Cultural Forum, Indo Polish Film Association, Indo Tibet Cultural Forum, Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Hungarian Film Association have also confirmed their participation.

“Indeed IFCPC has become a global festival. This is the first ever festival in the World to screen films made by mobile phones,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival. Asian Academy of Film And Television and ICMEI will manage the event.

Students Meet by International Children’s Film Forum

Noida: ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum has completed more than 1000 film shows to promote good cinema. It has also touched more than 1000 visits of Schools and colleges students on different occasions at Marwah Studios.

“I have put in my best to promote good cinema means healthy cinema, meaningful cinema, films with solid impression on mind to do something good. The numbers have crossed 1000 schools and colleges,” said Sandeep Marwah talking to the students of Mahatma Gandhi University at the campus.

ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum has been part of all the festivals, which have been designed by International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television. ICFF is also working hand in hand with Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

We are excited to be here at Marwah Studios and be a part of ICFF. We have learned a lot todat and also carrying a certificate as a life time remembrance of our visit to this unique palace,” said the student leader of the group.

AAFT and Korean Will Promote Art And Culture


Noida: The visit of Korean team to Asian Academy of Film And Television revived the Indo Korean Film And Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“We are good friends and Marwah Studios is our permanent platform when it comes to any Korean performance or visit,” said Jung Young Min Director of International Youth Fellowship on his visit to Noida Film City.

New Delhi: The popular cultural organization Udaan invited renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios to inaugurate the National Film Appreciation Course at IIMC-Indian Institute of Mass Communication meant for new comers.

“I am impressed by the interest shown by the students of different colleges of Delhi and NCR in film making. It has given a very strong picture that Indian cinema has great potential in attracting youngsters. The scope is unbelievable, what we need is a set of dedicated people who can do and die for cinema to promote and bring cinema to World level,” said Sandeep Marwah while lighting the inaugural lamp.

Suresh Kumar Director General IIMC, Bharat Kumar of RSS and Arun Kumar Cinema Coordinator of Udaan were also present there. More than 400 students learned about cinema in two days, which was just an orientation towards skill development.

IFTC Presents 11th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema


Avantika Mishra Released The Poster


Noida: The 11th edition of one of the most popular festivals of the World-International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has been designed for January 2018 at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

60 days have been given to people from all over the World to submit their short films of 3 minutes each made by mobile and a picture clicked by mobile only. The film can be a newsgathering, a music video or a fiction. Ample awards and certificates have been announced for the festival.

“Every participant will be entitled for participation certificate from the authorities after the festival is over. They can be collected online also,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

Renowned artist Avantika Mishra, the leading lady of Telgu cinema released the poster. “What a pleasure to be here at Marwah Studios that is also for an international event poster release. I am thrilled to know about this festival. I must submit my entry,” said Avantika in a good mood while releasing the poster.

New Delhi: A grand event to celebrate the silver jubilee of one of the oldest organizations of journalists –Newspapers Association of India was held at Convention Centre of NDMC at New Delhi.

“We are thankful to all those who have respected the importance of journalism-the forth pillar of Democracy. Journalism has always kept us alive and alert. The truth must be brought to the table. NAI has gone out of way to look after the needs of its members and kept them motivated to do their best all these years,” said Sandeep Marwah Chief Patron of the association at the inauguration of silver jubilee function.

The organization started by Dr. Gaur 25 years back and now well controlled by Vipin Gaur. Late Dr. M.R. Gaur always believed in that "To be a journalist you need courage, dedication and honor. It's not only about knowing the truth yourself but about bringing it out in front of the world," reminded Marwah who is a part of the team from very beginning.

“I congratulate NAI and all the members on this silver jubilee celebration. NAI has studied all the needs of the journalist and seriously working on them. If I can be of any need please do not hesitate to include me in the team,” said Manoj Tewari MP and Head of BJP Delhi.

It is for the first time that 100 hundred people together released the Magazine which is only on single person –Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City-the fastest growing film city in the World, Marwah Studios-the first professional film studio of North India, AAFT-the first private film school of the country.

Jackie Shroff veteran actor, Sushant Singh actor and General Secretary CINTAA- Cine and Television Actors Association and Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI handed over the Hindi Cinema Sahyogi Samman to H.E.   Demetrious A. Theophylactou High Commissioner of Cyprus to India.

High Commissioner was awarded in the presence of   Vijay Goel Minister for State of Parliamentary Affairs and statistic implementation Government of India and MP & former Union Minister Shatrughan Sinha also Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti. The President of IMPTPA T.P. Agarwal and President FWICE B.N. Tewari were also present there.

“ Ample has been done and a lot is to be done to built up strong relations between two countries India and Cyprus. The National award to Cyprus has added a new energy to our relationship with India, I am sure we will be able to create a new history together,” said H.E. Demetrious A. Theophylactou High Commissioner of Cyprus to India.
