International Day of Commemoration In Memory of Victims of the Holocaust Observed at Marwah Studios




“Inspired by the theme “Liberty, Life and the Legacy of the Holocaust Survivors”, the 2015 observance of the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust coincides with the two milestone events: the 70th anniversary of the Second World War’s end and the founding of the United Nations” informed Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a humble function at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

The Organization’s establishment seven decades ago in 1945 reflects how deeply it was shaped by the experience of the Holocaust. Both the  Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights enshrine the principles of human rights for all peoples around the world.

This year’s events include the annual ceremony, exhibits, a film screening, discussions and a special exhibit that recognizes the work of the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme since its creation 10 years ago by the United Nations General Assembly.

Obama’s Visit Has Strengthen Our Relations With America-Sandeep Marwah



New Delhi, 27th Jan 2015: First it was Prime Ministers Narendra Modi ‘s visit to USA and now President Barack Obama’s visit to India has strengthen and cemented the relations between the two countries for economic growth” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson Media And Entertainment Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce at a meeting in New Delhi.

The leaders of both the countries have decided to ease out the formalities in business so that more can be import and export including services. Announcement of large investment by US government and to encourage private parties to come forward was also the main motto of the discussions.

“I Believe and trust that the media business between two countries will also take some new shape and many large media and entertainment business houses will exchange their expertize in the field of print, radio, television, cinema, new media events and education” added Sandeep Marwah.

AAFT Will Launch School of Hospitality Soon



“The Prime Minister of India has declared tourism as the priority sector. This decision will immediately increase the demand of hotels and manpower to work in this industry. AAFT has decided to enter into another school to cater to hospitality Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

The hospitality industry is a broad category of fields within the service industry that includes lodging, event planning, theme parks, transportation, cruise line, and additional fields within the tourism industry.

Hotel management includes Hotel & Restaurant management, Hospital Administration and Catering, Hotel and Tourism Associations, Airline Catering and Cabin Services, Club management, Guest Houses amongst others. Expansion of global travel industry and aviation industry is expected to boost hotel industry in next couple of years.

Hotel management like any other sector is subject to the state of national economy and global economy. When the economy is doing well jobs come a lot in the sector. Currently there are more than 2.40 million people working in hotel, catering and allied industry in India and the number is going to increase in next couple of years.

AAFT Celebrated National Youth Day




“It was decided to open the new batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television on 12th February which is the National Youh Day and also the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT addressing the young media persons enrolled in the 86th batch of the institution.

“We have to learn from the sayings of Swami Vivekanand. Who is Helping You, don’t forget them. who is loving you, don’t hate them who is believing you, Don’t cheat them. Anything that makes you weak physically, intellectually and spiritually, reject as poison. Fill the brain with high thoughts, highest ideals place them day and night before you and out of that will come great work” added Marwah in his speech while motivating the young crowd of AAFT.

All the faculty members of AAFT attended the meeting. It was a good holy start. Students were also briefed with the activities of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Boney Kapoor has been nominated on the Governing Council of International Chamber of media And Entertainment Committee the first ever Chamber to look into the needs of this industry.

Chamber will play an important role in bridging the gap between industry and government. Chamber has created 162 international committees 80 national committee and is opening offices in 100 countries of the World.

Indo Mexican Relationships can be broaden with Art And Culture




“We are proud that Mexican girl Ximena Navarrate has attained a tittle of Miss Universe 2010 and also she is the recipient of Post Graduate Diploma from AAFT Noida and now World Ambassador of Asian Academy of Film And Television” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio and Chairperson ICMEI during his meeting with the Ambassador of Mexico H.E. Jaime Nualart    at New Delhi.

“I understand the importance of Art And Culture and believe that it can bring two countries close to each other. We have ample scope to develop the relations between two countries through cinema and other atrs” said H.E. Jaime Nualart Ambassador of Mexico in India.

The secretary General Ashok Tyagi handed over a prospectus of ICMEI to Ambassador.


Indo Polish Film Association Honors Ambassador As Patron




“It is our pride to bring first Polish award-GATE OF FREEDOM Award to India when Sandeep Marwah was honored at Gdansk Film Festival for his five World Records and later invited to be on the International jury” informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI to H.E. AAFT Scholarship to Cameroon Student Announced by ICMEI



“We feel honored in announcing scholarship of Asian Academy of Film And Television to the student of Cameroon to be selected by the Government of Cameroon” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in a small function at Noida Film City.

The Suraj Parkash Marwah scholarship includes a course fee for any three months practical course along with the boarding and lodging for three months for the student. The announcement was made during the international meet of ICMEI.

“While acknowledging the said letter on behalf of the Cameroon government and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and the Family, I appreciate the humanitarian action taken by the ICME that enable a Cameroonian Student to come for a three months specialization courses at AAFT” said Nico Tella representative of Government of Cameroon in India. The gesture was well appreciated by Dr. Rishi Raj Singh Director NIESBUD, Ministry of Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

ICMEI Join Hands With Country of Mauritius




“We have extended our cooperation to the country of Mauritius in the field of film, television and media. The people of Mauritius have loved Indian cinema and television programs,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI and Marwah Studios inviting Ambassador of Mauritius to be part of Chamber.

Secretary General of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Ashok Tyagi visited His Excellency Joyker Nayeck, the High Commissioner of Mauritius to brief him about the chamber.

“I appreciate the efforts of ICMEI to work towards better relations between the two countries India and Mauritius” said H.E. Joyker Nayeck.

ICMEI also informed the Second Secretary Embassy of Mauritius Prema Appadu about the activities of Chamber.

“We may not have a film industry but would try in developing one in our country. We would love to join hands with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry” said H.E. Hamed Saif Ali Rawahi during the visit of ICMEI delegation at Embassy of Sultanate of Oman at New Delhi.

“We invite you to our campus to see for yourself how we are organized” Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI invited the Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Noida Film City.

“We are trying to explore all the countries of the World for developing relations with India in the different areas of media and entertainment industry” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Indo Oman Media And Entertainment Association will soon be created to work on the related subject. Later ICMEI honored Ambassador with life membership of International Film And Television Club.

8th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Supported by ICMEI




The most unique and colorful 8th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema is powered by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry informed Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

The 162 international committees and 80 national committees of ICMEI now joined hands with the festival and will support to its best.

8th IFCPC has invited entries from all over the World in different categories to be uploaded on the website www.ifcpc.com  to save time and the additional expenditure.

The festival this time expecting large entries in all the categories and a special board of filmmakers has been created to select the best out of them for final round. The awards worth one lac will be distributed after the announcement of winners.

ICMEI Join Hands With Democratic Republic of The Congo



A high-powered delegation of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry visited the Ambassador of Democratic Republic of The Congo to discuss the business of film, television, media and education.

“We are keen in developing relations with India in the entertainment and media field. Our country may not have large media industry but we can grow with the help of India” said H.E. Francois Balumuene Ambassador of  The Democratic Republic of The Congo in India.

“ICMEI is looking for new avenues to participate with countries in Africa and bring them on the board of Chamber. Democratic Republic of The Congo is the second biggest in Africa and 11th biggest in the World in size” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson ICMEI.

Book on Amitabh Bachchan Released by Sandeep Marwah



“Amitabh Bachchan is a legendary figure. His following is tremendous. His work has been appreciated by one and all. He has a grand presentation on big screen and people love him for his acting” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios releasing a poetry book on Amitabh Bachchan written by Subodh Kumar at Constitutional Club at New Delhi.

“Ample has been written on Amitabh and enough can be added on this personality. I congratulate Subodh for his efforts to add another poetry book to the large collection of books on Amitabh” said Rashmi Singh Executive Director, National Mission for Empowerment of Women at Ministry of WCD, Government of India present on the occasion.

The veteran writer Prof Ajit Kumar shared his days with Bachchan family and blessed Subodh to keep the writing work on. “Amitabh is son of my Guruji Harivansh Rai Bchchan, I know him since he was in college days and he has great love for literature too” Ajit remarked.

IACC Will Create Its New Image- Sandeep Marwah



“Indo American Chamber of Commerce is the oldest and the closest chamber to India America Trade. The only need is to uplift its presence in India in a much bigger way than what it is today” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Media And Entertainment Committee of IACC and member of the National Executive Council.

Sandeep Marwah was attending the National meeting of the executive committee of IACC at Hotel Hyatt New Delhi. The 22 members of the committee from Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Pune, Goa, were assembled to take some national decisions of the chamber.

“Media And Entertainment is the best way to bring in relation ship close to each other. Under International Chamber of Media And Entertainment we are working on the Global Cooperation through art and culture” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of ICMEI.

“There is no alternative to hard work, and when your passion becomes your profession than you are the luckiest person,” added Bhupinder Singh the former Chairperson of State Trading Corporation of India. Renowned sitar Player Pandit Prateek  Choudhary and Kamal Gill the Executive Editor and Managing Director of Gill India Communications Pvt Ltd. Also spoke on the occasion.

Art And Culture Can Bring Back Love And Affection- Sandeep Marwah

First Poster of 8th IFCPC Released at Marwah Studio




Noida 15th Jan, 2015: “The 8th festival of Cellphone Cinema speaks for itself the demand and fun in celebrating these kind of unique film festivals in the world,” said Gulshan Grover renowned cine artist while releasing the first poster of the festival at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

“8th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has been fixed for 29th and 30th of January where short films upto three minutes shot by mobile phones have been invited from all over the World” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

“It is a wonderful opportunity for the young film makers to project their ideas in such a economical way” added Rahul Mittra film producer from Mumbai.

“I am ready to provide music to these short mobile films. It is a challenge to give music to three minutes films” expressed a well-known singer and composer Vipen Aneja.

“You need to be punctual, regular, sincere and dedicated at the time of your education and training program. Treat it as your first priority. Learn the best out of AAFT, this time will never come back” said Gulshan Grover renowned actor from Bollywood at an interaction program at Noida Film City.

Gulshan Grover is the only actor from India who has worked in more than 450 films which includes 25 films of Hollywood. “Gulshan is the most versatile actor who has created a wonderful niche for himself. More than 20 countries participated in this international convention.

A special show of feature film Tever was screened at Director’s Cut at New Delhi for the VIPS and Raj Babbar was the special invitee of the show from the star cast of feature film TEVER.

“Boney has left no stone unturned in making a movie Tever as wholes um entertainment. I know him from the days of Hum Panch when he created five star arrangements on the barren lands of Melkote” added Raj Babbar who is playing the role of Arjun’s father in the film.

Mundgod Is A Place To Visit –Sandeep Marwah of NFTC





Mundgod 6th January, 2015: Mundgod, The Mini Tibet of India is called Doeguling Tibetan Settlement. Dharamshala could be the little Lhasa in India but Mundgod is the mini Tibet in Exile, although place does not have the head quarters of His Highness, the Honorable Dalai Lama, the political and spiritual leader of the Tibetans informed Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of  NFTC-National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited.

“Mundgod was a non-descript panchayat town in the State of Karnataka in India. Today it is the repository of Tibetan life and culture. It showcases the life style and ambitions of the Tibetan refugees and reflects the gradual transformation of a traditional society into modernity” said Marwah who was at Mundgod to receive his International Award from Prime Minister of Tibet during international convention.

The Government of Karnataka gave 4,000 acres of mostly forested land in Mundgod, near Hubli. There are four other Tibetan settlements in Karnataka. It all started in Mundgod in 1966. Today, it is the largest concentration of Tibetan refugees in the world, exceeding thirteen thousand persons. More than 40000 people visited last week on the visit of H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama.
