The award was constituted six years back to promote and highlight all those people who      all have contributed enough to the promotion of Indian art and culture. Noida: A workshop by renowned theatre artist and former Director of National School of Drama Dr Devendra Raj Ankur was planned for the students of AAFT School of Cinema during the orientation program of new session of AAFT 2022 at Marwah Studios Noida Film City.

Passion for any creative art will take you to heights. Continuous efforts are required to prove your talent. There is no alternate to hard work. Dr Ankur has been a Senior Drama Instructor of Bal Bhavan, New Delhi. He is also the Member of National School of Drama, a guest faculty in theatrical literature and direction at Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow. He is the Professor of Indian Classical Drama and Aesthetics, founder Member and Principal Director of ‘Sambhav’, New Delhi. He has presented over 400 stories, 16 novels and 60 plays across India and abroad with various amateur and professional troupes.

Answering the question Dr Marwah said that a chancellor is a leader of a college or university, usually either the executive or ceremonial head of the university or of a university campus within a university system.

He informed that the term ‘higher education’ with respect to India denotes the tertiary level education that is imparted after 12 years of schooling (10 years of primary education and 2 years of secondary education). The Department of Higher Education, MoE is responsible for the overall development of the basic infrastructure of Higher Education sector, both in terms of policy and planning.

 A professor is the highest academic title held at a college, university, or postsecondary institution. Professors are accomplished and recognized academics — and usually considered experts in their areas of interest

The top 6 States in terms of highest number of colleges in India are Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu and these States have more than 30 colleges per lakh population except Uttar Pradesh, which has the college density of 20 only.

The objective of higher education is to give both knowledge and wisdom. Educational system must find its guiding principle in the aims of the social order. It should inculcate democratic idealism among the learners.

The UGC`s mandate includes determining and maintaining standards of teaching, examination, and research in universities. Framing regulations on minimum standards of education. Monitoring developments in the field of collegiate and university education; disbursing grants to the universities and colleges.

There are three types of universities: Conventional Universities, Deemed Universities and Institutions of National Importance. While Conventional Universities are established through Act of Parliament or State Legislatures, Deemed Universities award degrees through the notification of the central government.

Sandeep Marwah visited different departments of the Universities to have first-hand view of the courses running there. He was accompanied by the members of AASGON- a social organization and members of Indo United Kingdom Art and Cultural Forum.

The University presented the memento and honoured Sandeep Marwah, a renowned media personality from India, for his untiring contribution to education and international relations. New Delhi: We are more than happy to honour Dr Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts for promoting tourism to his best at the international level.

Dr Marwah has been chairing large number of organizations and representing now 67 countries of the World in India as far as art, culture and tourism is concerned. He is the managing director of National Federation of Tourism and Transport Cooperatives of India Limited. A well-known tourism school under the banner of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism in Noida and full developed department on tourism in AAFT University of Media and Arts at Raipur id working in his guidance.

“Dr Marwah has established a term “Film and Cultural Tourism” 30 years back and to promote the term he has been able to attract more than three million people to Noida Film City. We have trained more than 20,000 young professionals in different fields. We have been able to give start to more than two hundred new companies in films, television and media where most of the young entrepreneurs are earning well for themselves. The whole media and entertainment industry comes under MSME and contributing well to the total GDP of India,” added Marwah.

Singing song means you need to have perfect diction, speech, little knowledge of language and command on your voice,” initiated Dr Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Performing Arts at the inauguration of new batch of 2022 of the school introducing Nikita Gandhi a renowned singer from Mumbai.

“Knowledge of music, continuous practice and quality to change with direction, not to be rigid are some more qualities you need to be known in this industry. It is growing industry and digitization has added a lot to the existing business. Create your own channels, social media will tell you how good you are in your art and to be successful you have to be honest to your profession,” said Nikita Gandhi who won the hearts of young students with her appealing voice. She sang her hit numbers and created a beautiful environment at Marwah Studios.

Nikhita Gandhi  is an Indian playback singer  who has worked in Indian films in four different languages. She has worked on Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, and Kannada film projects.

She sang as the face of Deepika Padukone in Raabta  for the title track “Raabta”.Her song ” Ullu ka Pattha” dual with Arijit Singh from the film Jagga Jasoos is a hit song. She sang for Sachin: A Billion Dreams, Chef, Jab Harry Met Sejal, and Ittefaq. She also sang a Bengali song “Mithe Alo” with Atif Aslam for Cockpit.  Her song “Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe” and “Poster Lagwa Do” also became popular.

London: “We the members of Indo UK Art and Cultural Forum along with the management of  International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on this very sad day,” expressed Dr Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo UK Art and Cultural Forum here in London on learning the sad news of the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“It is not only a loss to the United Kingdom but to the whole World. She was the greatest example and source of inspiration for millions around the seven continents of the World. The glow from the face of the World washed away,” added Marwah.

Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom  and the other Commonwealth realms  from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. She was queen regnant  of 32 sovereign states  during her life and served as monarch of 15 of them at the time of her death. Her reign of 70years  and 214 days is the longest of any British monarch  and the longest recorded  of any female head of state in history.

India will observe a day of State mourning on September 11, Sunday as a mark of respect for the death of Queen Elizabeth who died on Thursday at the age of 96 informed Marwah.

The title of the program was-‘Naya Bharat Mahotsav’ and deliberations were on ‘Sankalp Se Samridhi Tak’. “There is another word which our Prime Minister has given to the Nation i.e. Atmanirbhar. Let us be ambitious, techno Savvy, self-motivated, change our attitude towards life, be nationalist, well informed, do your research, believe in your self, be human, all rounder and should be result oriented,” added Dr Marwah.
