ICMEI Announced Short Film With French Director


A Film With French Director Announced


Noida: The celebrations took place at the international head quarters of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Noida when French director was signed for short film under Indo- French Cultural Forum of ICMEI.

“I was looking for a platform to join hands for making of short film in India when Sandeep Marwah noticed my talent and grant me the facilities to direct one film under ICMEI” said Moane Elyane Maria Rosello film director from France.

“We want to provide a wonderful platform to our guest directors from abroad. Asian Academy of Film And Television and Marwah Studio will support to the production of film at Delhi/Noida,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI & AAFT.

 The film will be part of the 162 short films announced by Sandeep Marwah during his visit to London recently. The making of films together leads to the development of wonderful relations between two countries through art and culture.

ICMEI Join Hands With Animation Festival of IIACFF



Noida: “ Multimedia has taken over not only all the mediums of media, but its intervention in all other businesses is now unavoidable. Animation has emerged as a new industry all over he World. It is high time to make people aware of its qualifications” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Marwah Studio signing an arrangement with Soumendu Sinha for forthcoming Animation Festival.

“We have designed this animation festival at Hotel Meridian in October. Many international and national companies have started finalizing their participation. We want it to be very exclusive. With ICMEI coming in we have upgraded the standard of the festival “ said Soumendu Sinha Director of the festival.

Javed Jaffari renowned film artist has been nominated as the brand Ambassador of IIACFF-2015.

Babbitta Saxena Chairperson for International And National Event Committee of ICMEI assured full support to the festival in the coming weeks. Marwah Studio  and AAFT will be partners in progress with India International Animation And Cartoon Film Festival.

Indo Afghanistan Film Venture Announced at Marwah Studio




Noida: “This is going to be the first venture between India and Afghanistan when two film setups of these countries going to make a film together. I am the lucky to be part of this prestigious production,” said Sajia Shojaei Film maker from Afghanistan.

“We have announced and committed to making of 162 international films to be directed by film makers of different countries. Ample work has been done in that line. A new addition is a film from Afghanistan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Marwah Studio confirming the project.

All facilities will be provided by the chamber to the film maker from abroad and we will go out of way to highlight these projects as it leads to Love, Peace and Unity through Art and Culture” added Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

Pooja Bhat Speaks Her Heart Out at AAFT




Noida: “Life is not bed of roses. To fulfill your passion you have to sacrifice many things in life. Don’t think it was easy for even Bhat Family” said Pooja Bhat emotionally at Asian Academy of Film And television in a master class of 88th Batch.

Pooja Bhat shared her vast experience in film industry right from film Daddy to her most award winning film Tamana. She shared her personal moments and grudges of life with the media students.

“Continuous efforts and honesty towards your profession can take you to heights” added Rahul Mittra producer of Sahib Bewi Aur Gangster and now CEO of Waves Cinema.

“Explore yourself in a film school, learn what qualities you possess so that they can be your asset in the industry” said Kaustav Narayan Niyogi an add maker, lyrics writer and director of feature film Cabaret.

The formal function was followed by the question answer session. Sandeep Marwah later honored the dignities with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Sandeep Marwah Honored For His World Record in Sports




New Delhi: “Never before this kind of amalgamation of media and sports has taken place when Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studio covered Queen’s Baton Relay of 19th Commonwealth games at New Delhi” citiation read by S.S.Dogra Senior Vice President of India Sports Sang at Talkatro Stadium with almost 4000 sports person attending national seminar on sports.

“10000 pictures, 1000 hours of filming, 102 short films and 102 radio programs for daily broadcast in 102 days by covering 28 states, 5 union territories, 300 events, 900 cities, 20000 Km created a World Record for Sandeep Marwah. The opening film of CWG for 3 minutes was also produced and directed by Marwah Studio. Sandeep Marwah also ran with the Queen’s Baton on Jaipur –Delhi Road” added Dogra.

The President of the India Sports Sang Sunil Gupta in the presence of Shyam Jaju Senior Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party handed over the prestigious National Award of National Sports Federation to Marwah.

Lovlin as Amrita Pritam Stole The Show—Sandeep Marwah



New Delhi: AMRITA – A SUBLIME STORY is a play directed by the legendary Director, M.S. Sathyu of ‘Garam Hawa’ fame, and was staged at the India Habitat Centre. It was a real experimental play, the story of the late Amrita Pritam, a literary genius of India who passed away a decade ago.

“I am proud of Lovlin for her excellence in presenting Amrita Pritam on stage. She brought Amrita back to life” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio appreciating the efforts of AAFT alumni Lovlin who stole the show.

“This kind of presentation needs tremendous efforts and deep understanding of the medium, Lovlin did it” said L.K.Advani Former Deputy Prime Minister of India congratulating the whole team including producer K.K.Kohli.

“I have never met Amrita Pritam, but after seeing this play I know a lot about this great personality” added H.K.Dua a veteran journalist and a writer.

“Working under the internationally acclaimed director MS Sathyu was nothing short of a pleasure, since I had worked with him as his leading lady in Sookha and Barra, Sathyu gave me all the freedom to interpret Amrita in my own spontaneous style.” expressed Lovlin thanking the large audience on that day.

World Youth Skills Day Celebrated at Marwah Studio



“The UN estimates that the number of unemployed youth globally reached 74.5 million, the majority of whom live in developing countries. One in five youths, or 125 million, are working but live in extreme poverty. The issue of youth unemployment is a major concern for both industrialized and developing countries.

“Skills development is a primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work. In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution declaring 15th July as World Youth Skills Day” informed Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations.

“The goal is to achieve better socio-economic conditions for today’s youth as a means of addressing the challenges of unemployment and under employment” added Marwah in a meet organized by Skill Development Committee of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

World Yoga Day Celebrated by ICMEI



Noida: “What an excitement that whole World is celebrating World Yoga Day and our Indian traditions and culture are spreading all over the globe in no time” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on the World Yoga Day at Noida.

More than 2000 people gathered at Noida Stadium to be part of the Yoga workshop from 18th to 20th June to prepare for World Yoga Day on 21st of June organized by Art of Living of SriSri  Ravishankarji

“We are proud of our ancient art of living - yoga brings in good health for body, mind and soul” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture, Government of India in the capacity of Chief Guest of the function.

Sandeep Marwah Honored For Bringing Peace And Love

88th Batch of AAFT Inaugurated By Dr. Bhisham Narain Singh




Noida: “Youth is the future of the country. Develop good habits and culture so that the country can change with your positive attitude. I am sure this institution can be a great instrument in developing relations between two countries India and Malawi” added H.E. Patrick Mphepo Deputy High Commissioner of Malawi in India.

Sita Raina theatre and film personality, Vigyan Arya Senior Journalist from Dubai, Raj Nidhi Sharma of International Conference of Intellectuals Malaysia and Atulesh Yadav Director Pollution Board U.P. also spoke on the occasion.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored the distinguished guests with the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studio.

ICMEI Will Plant One-Lac Trees in National Capital Region



Noida: In continuation to national seminar on Environment And Climate by the E & C Committee of ICMEI a ground level work of planting one-lac trees in National Capital Region has started to fulfill the declared commitment.

“We announced that we will plant one lac trees and the first phase has started when we planted 100 trees at the temple ground of Navada village of Greater Noida. We hope that we will complete our job in time” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio and ICMEI.

“We have created committees and subcommittees who all will identify the land available for plantation. We are ready to devote time and money for this spiritual act of serving Mother Earth,” said Dr. K.D. Gupta Chairperson Environment And Climate Committee of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Clean Ganga-The Next Step of ICMEI




Noida: “I am pleased to note that ICMEI has taken up another challenge of cleaning Ganga and will put its recourses to do this holy and scientific job. I wish them all the success and support,” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma Minister for Culture, Civil Aviation and Tourism, Government of India while releasing the first book on Clean India Project by ICMEI.

“We have planned a series of workshops, seminars, interactions and training programs to create awareness within the country to teach not to pollute Ganga which is not only a spiritual reasons but it is the source of living of millions and development of our economy” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

18 programs have already been conducted in 18 different schools to create awareness by way of painting competitions and workshops. Many more are in pipe line,” added Dr. K.D.Gupta Chairperson of Environment And Climate Committee of ICMEI.

Media Training of 88th Batch of AAFT Commenced



Noida: “There are not much organizations in media which all have touched 88th edition of their works. We are lucky we are marching towards Century of AAFT courses,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAFT at the first day of 88th batch of trainees at Marwah Studio at Noida Film City.

“Asian Academy of Film And Television has proved to the World that good training can produce good talent for film and television industry. The alumni of any institution are the proof of quality of education,” Marwah added while talking to the young batch.

Punctuality and regularity are the key to success said Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean of AAFT. Associate Dean Prof Mansoor Naqvi, Dean Acting Prof. Satish Anand, HOD Sound Prof Rajinder Gandhi, HOD Cinematography Prof. K.K.Wadhwa, HOD Acting Prof. Adil Rana and Yudhveer Dhayia were also present there.

AAFT training is supported by an in-house News paper, a radio station, a television station, a research centre, a film club, a broadcasting forum to give 360 degree media exposure to the student.

NFTC Will Study on London Tourism Industry




London: “London is a popular centre for tourism, one of its prime industries, employing the equivalent of 350,000 full-time workers in 2003, while annual expenditure by tourists is around £15 billion” informed Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited in a press meet at Hotel Mayfair at London

“London attracts over 16 million international visitors per year, making it Europe's most visited city. London attracts 27 million overnight-stay visitors every year” added Marwah who is also the President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

London's bus network is one of the largest in the world, running 24 hours a day, with about 8,500 buses, more than 700 bus routes and around 19,500 bus stops. In 2013, the network had more than 2 billion commuter trips per annum, more than the Underground.

“We will soon prepare a study report on the tourism and transport of London so that we can guide the ministry back home” confirmed Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Announced 162 International Short Films



London: On the completion of 25 years of Marwah Studios, the President Sandeep Marwah has announced the launching of 162 international short films with directors of 162 countries of the World. First time in the history of entertainment industry some thing like this has been declared.

Sandeep Marwah is the producer of largest number of short films in the World. He has already given an opportunity to around 2300 young film directors and around 9000 artists and technicians from different parts of the Globe.

“I am passionate about producing short films. Not only that I love to give opportunity to young filmmakers who are looking for an entry into film industry, I feel It is the most crucial time of the film maker when he wants to do something but not many people come forward to help them” said Sandeep Marwah five times World Record Holder in Media at a press meet at Hotel Mayfair at London.

“Being the President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry I feel obliged to announce this facility from London office itself,” added Marwah.

“I will also be fulfilling my responsibility towards National Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited by providing all shooting facilities on the Indian soil and adding on to film tourism” Marwah said as Managing Director of NFTC.

AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television that has been an international seat of learning will be supporting this mission. IFTC-International Film And Television Club will be showcasing these films in a special festival. All these films will be part of IFTRC- International Film And Television Research Centre.

IPBF-International Public Broadcasting Forum will telecast these films. Films on Women and Children will take care by IWFF- International Women’s Film Forum and ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum respectively.

Marwah Films And Video Production will sponsor these films and will provide all modalities of pre-production, production and post production of films.


87th Convocation Ceremony at AAFT


Noida: The Asian Academy of Film &Television celebrated a convocation ceremony for the students of 87th batch on Monday, July 6th, 2015. The ceremony was held at Marwah Studio

A total of 84 students were hooded during the ceremony. All students across the divisions participated in the ceremony, at which Dean of AAFT; Kalyan Sarkar conferred degrees to candidates and wished for their successful career. Several students received special recognition for attaining highest grades.

Addressing the gathering, Kalyan Sarkar said, “that it is a proud moment for the teaching faculty that its students were on the threshold of beginning a new life”.  Mohd. Saleem Saifi, a passout of AAFT was present as a Guest of Honor.  He had a successful stint with Aajtak as an anchor and now owns a Studio called ‘Big Studio’. Rajinder Singh, a Senior Video Journalist with CNBC and alumni of AAFT was also present as a guest of honor.

The students put out their sentiments, thanked their teachers and acknowledged that they owed their career and success to their mentors at AAFT. 

“I extend my best wishes to the whole batch and pray for their success in film, television and media industry” a note was read sent by Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios from London who was on the promotional tour to UK.

Las Vegas: “The aim of this International Day is to: Increase awareness on cooperatives; Highlight the complementarily of the goals and objectives of the United Nations and the international cooperative movement; Underscore the contribution of the movement to the resolution of the major problems addressed by the United Nations” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited in a meeting at Las Vegas during his visit to USA.

 “he other aim is to strengthen and extend partnerships between the international cooperative movement and other actors, including governments, at local, national and international levels” added Marwah who is also Ambassador of International Human Rights Association affiliated to United Nations.

This year, International Co-operative Day celebrated on 4 July, had the theme of “Choose co-operative, choose equality”.

The co-operative movement presents a unique combination of global reach and needs-based business conduct. Play an important role in poverty reduction by widening ownership and by giving people a voice, both inside their organizations and in society as a whole.
 
“In this crucially important year in which the world will commit itself to an inspiring new development agenda, including a set of sustainable development goals, let us recommit to the cooperative business model and use its many benefits to fulfil our vision of a life of dignity for all."
