Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Photography Exhibition of Aman Chotani




New Delhi: “These are very emotional moments when your student is marching towards success. I am feeling proud today seeing his works of photography being appreciated so well professionally,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios inaugurating the exhibition of Aman Chotani at Open Palm Court at India Habitat Centre.

Aman Chotani is the student of Cinema from Asian School of Media Studies, Noida and has picked up Still Photography as his profession. Large number of full size pictures was displayed under the banner ‘Portraits Talk’.

“My education has helped me in deciding my carrier, I am putting my best to give best to my society through photographs” said Aman Chotani.

The exhibition is Presented by Gorilla Creative Arts and supported by Delhi Photography Club. All exhibited photos are fine art print and are for sale.

Renowned photographer Ravi Dhingra, Ajay Sood, Ratan Kaul of Indian Council for World Relations, Pankaj Gupta from Milan were also present there.

Exhibition by Young Artists Impressed Film Makers at AAFT




Noida Film City: “The paintings are the real expression of your inner feelings and thinking blended with colors on canvas. This is one of the finest arts human being has discovered. Films are the extension of all these arts” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio at the inauguration of painting exhibition at 86th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Asian Academy of Arts.


“India has accepted all that what the invaders had brought from their culture to us. That is the reason that Indian art is grand and boundaries are much broader. It is reflected even with the young generation,” added Satish Anand Dean Acting at AAFT.

“Every painting exhibition is like a workshop in the campus. Every one should take full advantage of these investment in time, labor and resources,” said Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT.

The festival began with the opening of the exhibition of paintings by Divya Sharma, A.Vallabai, Rupender Kaur, Lakshya Deora, Vipin Sharma and Sculpture by Kusum Jain. Marwah honored the entire artist with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. Dr. A.K.Srivastava Director General ASMS paid vote of thanks.


86th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Inaugurated




Noida Film City: “We have created a World Record by touching 86th Edition of our festival. There is no other festival in the World to reach to 86th edition so far” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio at the inauguration of 86th AAFT Festival of short Digital Films at Marwah Studio.

“This is the only festival which has given opportunity to more than 2000 directors from all over the World to showcase their debut film in last 22 years” added Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT.

 Some of the finest films during the festival were screened including ‘Taj Mahal –Crown of Earth’ directed by Aamir Naqvi, ‘Maa Ki Aankh’ by Hitesh Tandon, Bloody Red by Anjali, ‘Sunaina’ by Parvesh Saini, ‘Side Effects of Criticism’ by Alok Chaturvedi and ‘Masoom’ by Nikhil Kapoor

This is for the first time in the World where any film school has adapted a historical monument-A Wonder of The World as a part of its syllabus for making and studying cinema informed Marwah.

AAFT also celebrated its curtain raiser a day before where the H.E. Mentor Villagomez, Ambassador of The Republic of Ecuador in India released the poster of the festival. He was also accompanied by Dr. Patricio Garces, Head of political and cultural affairs, Embassy of Ecuador in India.

Dr A.K.Srivastava of ASMS, Ashok Tyagi of ICMEI, Kusum Jain renowned Sculpturist, young painters Lakshya Deora, Vipin Sharma, Divya Sharma and Rupendra Kaur also spoke on the occasion.

ICMEI And Country of Republic of Ecuador Join Hands



Noida Film City: “ICMEI will open an ‘Indo Ecuadorian Media And Culture Association’ to give boost to the films, television. media and cultural activities of both the countries to bring people of two countries together” suggested Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI in a joint meeting at Chamber.

“We are open to develop and promote our relations with India through culture as it is the fastest way to reach masses. My visit to International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has become historical one. I believe we can do a lot together,” said H.E. Mentor Villagomez, Ambassador of The Republic of Ecuador in India.

We will leave no stone unturned to cooperate to ICMEI in developing new avenues of cooperation” added Dr. Patricio Garces, head of political and cultural affairs, Embassy of Ecuador in India.

Ashok Tyagi, the Secretary General of ICMEI briefed the Ambassador about the activities of the Chamber and how the chamber is promoting art and culture of India and its relationship with other countries too. Later Marwah honored the Ambassador with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Curtain Raiser of 86th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films




Noida Film City: “AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is the only film festival in the World to touch 86th Edition. This is the only festival which has given an opportunity to more than 2000 directors to showcase their debut film” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio in a grand function at Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“Never heard of this number as far as film festival is concerned. AAFT has done a commendable job by uniting the whole World through Cinema. I congratulate the whole team for working towards oneness and specialization of their subject of good cinema” said  H.E. Mentor Villagomez, Ambassador of The  Republic of Ecuador in India.

“Tomorrow we will showcase our cinema in a much bigger scale. The films are directed by the students of 86th batch of AAFT” added Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT.

ICMEI- Appreciated by Foreign Nationals From All Over The World




Noida Film City: “This is for the first time that any Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the activities of films, television, media and Entertainment Industry in the World,”
said Sandeep Marwah –Five times World Record Holder, President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has created 162 International Committees, 80 National Committees and brought its presence in 100 countries in no time.

 Recently the Ambassadors and High Commissioners of different countries based in India appreciated the bold initiative taken by the Chamber in developing and mounting the relations with different countries through films, media, art and culture.

“The chamber has also included a committee on tourism, skill Development, Fashion and Environment recently. We have encouraged through Chamber to open a skill Development Council, a School on Hospitality and Tourism, a School of Fashion and Interior Designing and promoting environment and climate subject from school to school” added Marwah who has already attained a tittle of World Media Guru.

ICMEI has already encouraged large activities in Nigeria, Senegal, Hungary, Israel, Wales, Poland, Peru, South Africa, Sudan, Egypt and USA by opening separate film and cultural forums.

ICMEI probably the only Chamber to have its own News Paper, Radio Station, TV Channel, Film And TV Production House, Research Centre, Film Studios, a film School and a Business School.

ICMEI Promotes Indo Romanian Relations Through Arts And Culture





New Delhi: “The relation between India and Romania goes many years back. Business do bring two countries together but nationals of two countries can come closer emotionally through arts and culture” said H.E Radu Actavian Dobre Charged d” Affaires of Embassy of Romania in India.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry initiated in offering join ventures for film, students exchange program, faculty exchange program, collaborations, affiliations, film festivals and highlighting visits of visiting Romanians in the field of art, Culture, journalism and business associates.

Marwah shared his association with Lakatos Robert; film Director from Romania during his visit to Hungary last year as a part of International Jury of 11th Miskolc Film Festival and actress Maria Dinulescu during Mons International Film Festival at Belgium. Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi and Deputy Secretary Rajeev Mathur were also part of the delegation.

World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development




Noida Film City: “The day provides us with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the values of cultural diversity and to learn to live together better” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations on the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development celebrated at Marwah Studio at film city Noida.

“In a diverse world, the destruction of cultures is a crime, and uniformity is a dead-end: our aim must be to enhance, in one movement, the diversity that enriches us and the human rights that bring us together."  A message read by Harshvardhan sent by Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO.

We can celebrate this day by encouraging people and organizations from around the world to take concrete action to support diversity, the campaign aims: to raise awareness worldwide about the importance of intercultural dialogue, diversity and inclusion.

It also aims to build a world community of individuals committed to support diversity with real and every day-life gestures and to combat polarization and stereotypes to improve understanding and cooperation among people from different cultures.

Polish Institute Inaugurated New Setup In Delhi

“It was my dream project to have an exclusive setup for Polish Institute in India. Today we achieved that” said H.E. Tomasz Łukaszuk The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in India.

Kaushik Ghatak Visits Alma Matter-AAFT




Noida Film City: “It is like coming home. The institute has grown so big. AAFT is now the first ten best film schools of the World, in value additions and practical education it may be number one in the World. I am proud of my school-Asian Academy of Film And Television,” said Kaushik Ghatak during his visit to Noida Film City where he started his initial education in films and television many years back.

“I have no hesitation in accepting that today whatever I am is only because of this institution and especially my Director Sandeep Marwah who has taught us the real meaning of life,” Ghatak added.

World Telecommunication And Information Society Day Celebrated at PHDCCI


New Delhi: “The main objective of the day is to raise global awareness of societal changes brought about by the Internet and new technologies. It also aims to help reduce the digital divide,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio as a keynote speaker on the World Telecommunication And Information Society Day at PHD Chamber of Commerce.

Giving examples and case studies Marwah explained the usage of internet and forth coming facilities going to be available in the society. Mobile Cinema is another huge facilities now available with mobile operators. Needless to say Sandeep Marwah has been declared as Father of Mobile Cinema.

Electrifying Performance By Gurbani Bhatia at AAFT



Noida Film City: “It is not that easy to play Piano, there are not much artist who can play piano so well.  Musical recital by Gurbani Bhatia has won the hearts of every one in the hall. The music at AAFT has seen a new color and heights” appreciated Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio thanking the team for a mesmerizing performance.

 Gurbani has had no formal training and it has been gods grace to strike the right notes on the piano. Gurbani has adapted the western instrument to the Indian culture. She evoked nostalgia of great music directors like O.P. Nayyar, R.D. Burman, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Madan Mohan and music directors of today like JatinLalit, A.R. Rehman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Yashraj Music by playing their tunes.

Virat Mohan another young talented artist from Delhi played western music. Later Marwah honored both the artist with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. Dr. Yogendra Narayan Chairman Planning commission of ICMEI was the chief guest of the function.

Clean India- Green India Should Be The First Lesson –Sandeep Marwah



New Delhi: “Every Indian must learn that he has to live in the place which should be neat &  clean and he must plant and preserve some  trees around him. The whole country will become a beautiful place,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio on the 12th foundation Day of Sarita Vihar Harit Kranti Association.

Welcoming the guests J.S.Saluja spoke about how they have converted Sarita Vihar into Green Colony of the city. Padamshree Ashok Chakradhar congratulated the association and expressed his views in poetry.

Sandeep Marwah also informed that how their concept of Clean India has become the National Program by the Prime Minister of India on 2nd October 2014. He emphasized on the Gift A Tree scheme.

Art Creates Spiritual Environment in Society-Sandeep Marwah




New Delhi: “You must take initiative to increase the volume of art and its business in the society as it creates spiritual environment. The development of art and culture leads to the development of society and adds to humanity,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios inaugurating the Gandhi Art Gallery At Gurgoan along with the first exhibition there in-The Hay Wain.

The paintings of some of the senior most artists along with young artist were displayed in the first exhibition of art gallery. Akhilesh , Gauri Sahani, Iqbal Krishan, Hemraj, Shridhar Iyer, Kiran Soni Gupta along with the collection of Masters like M.F.Hussain, Ram Kumar, V.S. Gaitonde, Tyeb Mehta, Manjeet Bawa, F.N. Souza, Badrinarayan,  and J. Swaminathan works were also projected there.

Vinod Jain and Manoj Jain the founders of the art gallery welcomed everyone. The works of young artist like Aditi Garg, Ajay Mehra, Anisha Binani, Anurag Jadia, Apurba Pal, Beenu Gupta, Chiranjib Panda, Dr. Mamta Rokana, Ghazal Alagh, Harpreet Kaur, Honey Gupta, Madhulika Mohan, Poonam Agarwal, Sarath K.S. and Trapti Gupta were part of group show.

Iqbal Krishan of Arts Unlimited curated the exhibition. The same exhibition will be part of the festival at Marwah Studio in November this year.

Powerful Workshop on Diplomacy And Foreign Affairs at ICMEI

Ambassador Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal Chairperson of Diplomatic Corps of ICMEI conducted the program. Workshop on Diplomacy And Foreign Affairs Inaugurated at ICMEI



Noida Film City: “India is a powerful country and it has its own foreign policy of peace and unity. Workshop by Israeli Film Maker at AAFT




“Never seen this kind of enthusiasm in any part of the World, I have been to many film schools of the World. Nothing is missing in AAFT as far as education and training is concerned” said Dan Chyutin a well-known filmmaker from Israel at the closing of workshop with cinema students.

ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Indo Israel Cultural Forum conducted a film workshop at AAFT-school of Cinema by the renowned Israel filmmaker.

“We are honored that we could bring film fraternity of cinema of two countries together” remarked Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“The Indo Israel Cultural Committee has grown today with the presence of Dan Chyutin” added Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

Celebrations of Silver Jubilee Begins At Marwah Studios



New Delhi: “!0th March 1991 the first private film & TV studio of North India started functioning from  Noida Film City. It was a great occasion for the people of North India who were given the platform to come forward in the field of film and television business” recollected Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and Marwah Studios.

“People were not sure of the sustainability of this film city as many states and cities had announced film city in the country which never took off earlier. The allotments were made in March 1988 and three years of time was given to complete infrastructure of the studios.” added Marwah.

“This is our 25th year of solid existence into the World of Cinema, television and media” said Marwah emotionally. ”This whole year we will be celebrating the 25th years of our presence in the most glamorous fields. It has started with a small get together of our staff” informed Marwah.

New Delhi: “The country of Gabon now open to India in the field of arts and culture especially films which we still have to create a market for our self “ said H.E. Desire Koumba Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Gabon in India in a joint meeting of Embassy and ICMEI.

“International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry will provide its expertise to Gabon in developing bigger relations in cinema and other arts” confirmed Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Secretary General Ashok Tyagi invited His Excellency Desire Koumba to the chamber to see for himself how chamber is functioning.

Remy NDJOKOUNDA Economic Counsellor in Charge of Chancellery, Embassy of Gabon in India also attended the meeting.(ANA)
