A powerful and reflective session commemorating Black July—the tragic anti-Tamil pogrom in Sri Lanka that took place in July 1983—was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, at the Constitution Club of India. The event aimed to raise awareness about the horrors of ethnic violence and promote peace, unity, and empathy in society.

Black July remains a dark chapter in Sri Lanka’s history, during which thousands of Tamils were killed, displaced, and their properties destroyed, igniting a civil war that lasted for decades. Noida, July 24, 2025: In a landmark moment for student cinema and creative education, the 124th edition of the AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The prestigious event was graced by an illustrious panel of guests including renowned filmmaker Muzaffar Ali, filmmaker Nabarun Banerjee, veteran director Ashok Tyagi, BJP leader and former Election Commission Director Mohd. Amin, and celebrated aesthetician Vikkie Anand.

The festival stands as a testament to the commitment of the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) in promoting young talent in cinema. “Made in Mind, Built in Bharat” – Youngpreneur Summit at Bharat Mandapam Honors Rising Startups and Student Innovators

MSMECCII Delegation Meets Minister for New and Renewable Energy

AAFT and Helping Hand Foundation Join Hands to Promote Emerging Talent in Art and Culture

Noida, 23rd July 2025 – In a landmark initiative to uplift, encourage, and showcase emerging talent in the creative fields, AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television) has partnered with Helping Hand Foundation, led by Jagriti Saxena, National President, and supported by Naina Layal, acclaimed singer and proud alumna of AAFT. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the two institutions, marking the beginning of a powerful alliance dedicated to nurturing creativity across India.

At the launch ceremony, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and a global ambassador of creative arts, delivered an electrifying message to the youth: “The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you — your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live only as you can.”

He invited young minds to come forward and submit their pieces of art, music, writing, and performance to a newly launched digital platform designed to discover, mentor, and promote undiscovered talent.
