Another Feather In AAFT’s Coveted Cap

The success saga of Asian Academy of Films and Television (AAFT) continues to flow unabated. The latest feather in its already coveted cap was added today with the release of tragi-comedy Hair is Falling This film has come close on the heels of the directroral venture ‘Teen the Bhai’ by another AAFTIAN Gurdeep Singh Lamba and Luv Ranjan’s Pyar ka Panchnama.

The latest presentation “Hair is falling deals with the tragic phenomenon of receding hairline among youth because of all kinds of tension and anxiety that the pressure of life in the fast lane is causing. In one breath it produced comic situations and in another it lends agony and pain.


The film is produced by Priyanka, both from the AAFT, written by Vikas Taliyan, and directed by Vicky Bhardwaj. Sanjana Tewari along with AAFTIans Rajsh Bhardwaj and Lalit Kumar play major roles in the film. A 10-minute film on Indian cinema, ‘Longest Kiss was also shown on the occasion.

Introducing the film and the star-alumni of AAFT, its director Sandeep Marwah said that this film has once again proved that creativity and entertainment have become the sine qua non of this prestigious institute. Its students continue to create ripples in Bollywood and they have a bright future.
