It is just a coincidence
that in India we celebrate Children’s Day on 14th November, the
Birthday of late Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Universal Children’s
Day falls on 20th November so the celebrations continue for a week
at Marwah Studios” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights
Organization affiliated to United Nations.
Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum
and International Children’s Film Forum organized the meeting at Marwah Studios
to celebrate Children’s day.
The General Assembly recommended that all
countries institute a Universal Children's Day, to be observed as a day of
worldwide fraternity and understanding between children. It recommended that
the Day was to be observed also as a day of activity devoted to promoting the
ideals and objectives of the Charter and the welfare of the children of the
world.
