Sushant Singh Honored With Hindi Cinema Sevi Samman

New Delhi: A well known actor and General Secretary of CINTAA- Cine and Television Actors Association Sushant Singh was awarded with Hindi Cinema Sevi Samman  at Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Vijay Goel Minister for State Parliamentary Affairs and Statistical Implementation Government of India handed over the award to Sushant Singh. Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh Committee Chairman Shatrughan Sinha, Chamber President Sandeep Marwah and FWICE President B.N.Tewari were also present there.

“This is for the first time I am sharing the dice with giant and my senior Shatrughan Sinha. This is the first time I am on the stage of Vigyan Bhawan. ICMEI has brought all the organizations of Hindi Cinema together today. It is the sangam of all the departments of Hindi Cinema,” said Sushant Singh thanking for the honor.

Sushant is an Indian film, character actor, television actor and presenter known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema. He made his film debut in 1998 with Ram Gopal Varma's Satya. He rose to stardom with the 2000 film Jungle, and received rave reviews for portraying slain bandit, Durga Narayan Chaudhary. He then went on to star in period dramas such as Ambedkar, and The Legend of Bhagat Singh, and established himself in the industry.
