Youth Delegation From Sri Lanka At Marwah Studios |
Noida:
A delegation of 6 youth from NYSC Sri Lanka visited New Delhi from 8thSeptember
to 13thSeptember 2019 for cross-cultural youth exchange project. To make the
visit of youth from Sri Lanka all the more fruitful they were educated about
the film and television industry of India at Marwah Studios.
“We
are a part of the extensive network of branches, affiliated organizations and
individuals of the Royal Commonwealth Society, which spread the influence and
global connectivity of the modern Commonwealth while promoting the lives and
prospects of Commonwealth citizens across the globe,” said Hari Om Dhayia the
Chief Coordinator in India.
“We
participate in International Commonwealth Activities and Youth Projects.
Our
International Activities include several visits to London for The RCS
International Meetings, Visit to RCS Canada for Commonwealth Meetings,
Commonwealth Youth Projects (Canada, Singapore, UK, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Sri
Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives) to name a few. This year we have
collaborated with the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) of Sri Lankan organizing
India-Sri Lanka Commonwealth Youth Exchange Project (CYEP),” added Hari Om
Dhayia.
The
students were given tour of Marwah Studios and were covered by Radio Noida,
MSTV and local papers. They learned about Indian Film and Television Industry.
“I
am pleased to meet these young people from Sri Lanka.There visit has added to
the promotion of relation between two countries. Indo Sri Lankan Cultural Forum
of ICMEI has moved further,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah
Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.
