World Music Day Celebrated at AAFT University

World Music Day Celebrated by AAFT University

New Delhi: AAFT School of Performing Arts in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated World Music Day on web which falls on 21st June. Neither any outdoor activity nor group of people gathered to create the music this time owing to Pandemic in the World.

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of the University while talking to the students and professionals about the promotion of music in the country.

“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music. Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without. A painter paints pictures on canvas, but musicians paint their pictures on silence,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah appreciating the works of AAFT music students.

AAFT School of Performing arts is associated with large number of professional events round the year. Many well-known music directors, singers, musicians and technicians are now part of the AAFT board.
