Sandeep Marwah Honoured by IHRCCC on Human Rights Day

New Delhi: “Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination,” said Sandeep Marwah while talking to the members of International Human Rights and Crime Control Council on Human Rights Day at Marwah Studios.

The anniversary is celebrated across the world as Human Rights Day. This year, the day focuses on the theme ‘Equality — Reducing inequalities, advancing human rights, which aims to highlight principles of equality and non-discrimination as the core of human rights.

The Chief Commissioner of the organisation  Dr. V.P.Singh  and High Commissioner Mrs Akanksha Vidhyarthi honoured Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development and Research Foundation for his untiring work of uniting the World through art and culture. He was also nominated as the Chair for International Advisory Board.

International Human Rights & Crime Control Council (IHRCCC) is an autonomous, voluntary, non-governmental, non-discriminatory and non-profit organisation aiming to uphold, protect and enforce the human rights of alienated and marginalised communities in India and abroad for an equitable society.
