H.E. Mariano AgustÃn Caucino, a distinguished diplomat, historian, and lawyer, has had an illustrious career in international relations. Born in Buenos Aires on September 14, 1976, he graduated in law from the University of Buenos Aires in 2001 and has since contributed significantly to global diplomacy. He served as Argentina’s Ambassador to Costa Rica (2016–2017) and to the State of Israel (2017–2019) before his current appointment as Ambassador to India in 2024.

New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the Embassy of Argentina, proudly launched the Indo-Argentina Film and Cultural Forum during an elegant event held at the Embassy of Argentina in New Delhi.
H.E. Mariano AgustÃn Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, he expressed his enthusiasm for the cultural collaboration and its potential to strengthen ties between the two nations.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, emphasized the importance of this initiative in fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchange through films and artistic collaborations. Noida, India: AAFT’s Film and Television Department proudly celebrated its 122nd Edition of the Festival of Short Digital Films at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. This remarkable achievement further solidifies AAFT’s position as a global leader in promoting creative talent and innovative storytelling.
The prestigious event was inaugurated by an eminent panel of dignitaries, including H.E. Jason Hall, High Commissioner of Jamaica to India, Janice Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro to India, Navin K Jaggi, Senior Supreme Court Lawyer, Joyshree Arora, celebrated actress, Sujaya Krishnan, former Joint Secretary, Government of India, Shahnaz Zusufzai, former DDG, Doordarshan, Sanjay Khanduri, award-winning director, and Nishant Katyal, renowned brand builder.

New Delhi: Strengthening the bond of cultural and educational collaboration between India and Equatorial Guinea, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) offered a prestigious AAFT Scholarship to a deserving student from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
This announcement comes as part of the newly formed Indo-Equatorial Guinea Film and Cultural Forum (IEGFCF), chaired by Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The scholarship was formally presented by Dr. Marwah to H.E. Manuel Mbela Bama Ndong, Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to India, at a special ceremony.
The scholarship will enable the selected student to pursue a short-term, three-month course at the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) in Noida, India.
