Noida, India : The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly presented the Patronship of the organization to H.E. Jason Keats Hall, the first resident High Commissioner of Jamaica to India. The ceremony was held at the prestigious Marwah Studios, located in Noida Film City.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, remarked, “A leader is someone who inspires, guides, and empowers others to achieve a shared vision or goal. We are honored to present this patronship to H.E. Jason Keats Hall, who has been instrumental in fostering cultural and diplomatic ties between Jamaica and the nations he represents.”
H.E. Jason Keats Hall, based in New Delhi, also oversees Jamaica’s diplomatic relations with Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. His presence in India marks a new chapter in strengthening bilateral and cultural ties between Jamaica and the region.
Accepting the honor, H.E. Jason Keats Hall expressed his gratitude and emphasized the importance of cultural exchange. He stated, “I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from ICMEI. Jamaica and India share a deep connection through our love for art, music, and culture. I look forward to working closely with ICMEI to create meaningful collaborations that bring our people closer.”
The event further highlighted the shared vision of ICMEI and the High Commission of Jamaica to promote international cooperation in media, entertainment, and cultural activities.
