Noida, India – 16th July 2025: In a momentous celebration of vision, legacy, and inspiration, the book titled “Sandeep Marwah – The Architect of Aspirations” was officially released at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of ambassadors and diplomats representing several nations.

Penned collectively by 78 esteemed writers from across the globe, the book chronicles the extraordinary journey, contributions, and global impact of Dr. Sandeep Marwah—a media icon, educator, cultural diplomat, and the visionary founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and AAFT University. The volume is a tribute to his relentless pursuit of excellence in the fields of creative education, international cooperation, and socio-cultural development.

The grand book release was led by the following dignitaries: H.E. In a grand celebration of creativity, commitment, and cultural diplomacy, Marwah Studios proudly hosted the 32nd Anniversary of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC), coinciding with the 125th batch of AAFT – a milestone that reflects over three decades of research-driven excellence in media and entertainment.

Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble 44th Governor of Rajasthan and former Union Minister, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented the prestigious IFTRC Awards to individuals whose behind-the-scenes dedication and service have been instrumental in shaping the legacy of IFTRC. The event was a celebration not just of institutional longevity but of the unsung heroes powering India’s first private film & television research centre, established under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“Your work has not only built a world-class research centre but a cultural bridge between nations. What I see today at Marwah Studios is nothing short of a global creative movement,” remarked Shri Kalraj Mishra, while honouring the awardees.

Among the notable awardees who received recognition for their extraordinary commitment to IFTRC were: Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI, Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting Radio Noida 107.4 FM & MSTV OTT, Viney Kumar Sabikhi Registrar AAFT, Yogesh Mishra Dean AAFT, Satish Anand Dean AAFT School of Acting, Rajiv Mathur Director ICMEI, Haripriya Director Events AAFT & ICMEI, Prabhat Shukla Post Production Department, Deepti Sheoran Program Coordinator and Raman Jha Supervisor Marwah Studios. Each award was a testament to their unwavering contribution to research, media training, production, and global outreach through IFTRC.

The festivities unfolded with the inauguration of a new Screening Theatre, a symbol of the ever-evolving infrastructure of Marwah Studios. A moving art exhibition by the students of AAFT School of Fine Arts captivated guests with expressions themed around cinema, culture, and unity.

The event also witnessed the release of the inspiring book “Dr. Sandeep Marwah – The Architect of Aspirations”, a collection of 78 write-ups by authors influenced by Dr. Marwah’s visionary journey. The book was unveiled in the presence of international dignitaries from Russia, Ireland, South Korea, and others, adding a global aura to the occasion.

A symbolic gesture of friendship was made as H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India, was conferred with Patronship of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum, and a scholarship was presented to support a deserving Panamanian student’s education at AAFT. “India-Panama relations have reached new heights because of Dr. Marwah’s cultural outreach. This scholarship and forum will create new pathways of understanding between our people,” said Ambassador Correa Miguel.

Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda, also spoke on the strengthening ties between India and Rwanda through cultural forums initiated at IFTRC. He was also presented with Life Membership of IFTRC by the President IFTRC Dr. Marwah.

Closing the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of IFTRC, extended heartfelt congratulations to the awardees and gratitude to all guests, remarking: “Today is not just a celebration of years, but of ideas, innovation, and the people who transform visions into institutions. IFTRC was born out of research, and today it is the research that fuels our global impact.” Dr Marwah also presented Life Membership of IFTRC to Shri Kalraj Mishra along with the IFTRC Memento.

Noida, India – June 2025: In a momentous celebration filled with international camaraderie, artistic spirit, and visionary insight, Marwah Studios proudly commemorated the 32nd anniversary of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC)—the first of its kind in this part of the world. The landmark occasion was graced by a galaxy of dignitaries, including Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble 44th Governor of Rajasthan and 19th Governor of Himachal Pradesh; H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India; and Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of IFTRC and a globally acclaimed media personality, addressed a packed auditorium, reflecting on the power of research as the invisible engine behind every creative leap and institutional milestone. “It all began with research,” said Dr. Marwah. “My proposal to build Noida Film City—today the fastest-growing film city in the world—was rooted in deep study and analysis. The same research led to the creation of world-class studios, over 4,500 television programs for 50 channels, 125 feature films, 5,000 training films, and more than 3,600 short films, giving opportunities to over 25,000 filmmakers from 100+ nations.”

He highlighted how IFTRC gave birth to AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television), the first private film school in India, now elevated to the first film university of the country, having trained more than 30,000 media professionals from 145 countries. His groundbreaking concept of “Film and Cultural Tourism,” now an established term in global dictionaries, has drawn over 90 million visitors to Noida Film City and 3 million to Marwah Studios alone.

The celebrations were officially inaugurated by Shri Kalraj Mishra, who also opened a new state-of-the-art Screening Theatre at Marwah Studios. Deeply impressed, Shri Mishra lauded Dr. Marwah’s unwavering commitment to art, education, and culture. “What I witnessed today is extraordinary,” he remarked. “Your vibrant energy, visionary leadership, and tireless efforts have the power to position India as the creative capital of the world. Your initiatives are not only shaping the future of media but also uniting the globe through art and education.”

Ambassador H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel commended India-Panama relations and honored Dr. Marwah for his role in strengthening bilateral ties through the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum. In a symbolic gesture, Dr. Marwah conferred the Patronship of the Forum to the Ambassador and presented a scholarship to a deserving Panamanian student for a short-term program at AAFT.

Emile Mwepesi, representing the High Commission of Rwanda, praised the Indo-Rwanda Film and Cultural Forum and emphasized how cultural exchange has become a dynamic bridge between the two nations under Dr. Marwah’s leadership.

A new book titled “The Architect of Aspirations – Dr. Sandeep Marwah” was launched during the ceremony. The publication features 78 compelling essays penned by global authors whose lives and careers have been shaped by Dr. Marwah’s vision. The event was followed by an award ceremony where IFTRC staff was honoured by Shri Kalraj Mishra.

The celebration culminated with the inauguration of an exquisite painting exhibition by the AAFT School of Fine Arts, dedicated to the twin milestones of 125 batches of AAFT and 32 years of IFTRC. Artworks from budding student-artists captured the essence of creativity, heritage, and progress.

Founded in 1991 by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the International Film and Television Research Centre has been a pioneering force in research-led media development, bridging academia, industry, and international cultural exchange. Noida, 16 June 2025: In a significant milestone towards enhancing creative infrastructure, Marwah Studios inaugurated a state-of-the-art Amphitheatre on its campus, further strengthening its commitment to the promotion of film, television, art, and culture. The grand inauguration was carried out by Shri Chirag Paswan, Hon’ble Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Government of India, amid great enthusiasm and celebration.

The occasion coincided with the 125th batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) and the completion of 32 glorious years of excellence in media and arts education. A large gathering of artists, young filmmakers, dancers, and performers witnessed the historic moment, making it a truly vibrant and memorable event.

Welcoming the minister, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of Marwah Studios, expressed his gratitude and joy, stating, This new Amphitheatre is a step towards offering the finest facilities to our students and to the creative community at large. A historic moment unfolded at Marwah Studios as Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of Noida Film City, addressed the 125th batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) in a masterclass that will be remembered for years to come. Marking a milestone in the journey of one of India’s most renowned media institutions, the session was a deep dive into vision, commitment, and global achievement.
